As the leader of the fruit snacks, I am here to empower all through my anti-cult. No need for conformity here! Please bring your full authentic self.
With my career shift from chemistry and into web3, I constantly feel fear. I talk about how I handle that and the uncertainty that follows; how I deal with being in a emerging industry and trying to grow within it.
As the historical norm of fascism and minority rule returns to the US, we have to be strategic and build local grassroots movements that serve us, our community, and those of us most marginalized. I talk about how the US system works and what action items I think can make change in this country.
I ponder freedom and how the internet is expanding our manifestation of it. I think about the interactions between collective and individual freedom. I also consider how web3 and web2 augment and enhance both types of freedom.
The reality is that we were never free and the licks of freedom we gained were off the liberatory movements by the most marginalized (black & indigenous | queer & trans | disabled).
We deserve a sustainable world. We deserve a world that cares for all of us. We deserve systems that care about community. We deserve more and its about damn time we fight fiercely for it.
I muse of the structure of corp governance. Who and what does it incentivize? Is there a better way?
Just some ramblings about US governance, human emotionality, and our modern shortcomings.
The blueprint of my ideologies comes from black women, especially along the intersection of queerness. I built my magic in the safe spaces they provided. I exist in my form because of their hope and brilliance. I have immense hope for what we can do in this life, do you?
I muse on what the tenets should be in Web3. How those are different from the crypto community? How should we should up to build this collective future and what things do we agree to in being a part of web3?
As we move into increasingly uncertain times, we need hope and passion to not only get us through, but to help the world and our communities.
How can we conceptualize web3 and blockchain as a tool for liberation, subversion, and prosperity against systems that marginalize and oppress? I share my insights in this episode.
We need to create a new culture that cares. That defines our experience as a global species. That links us to each other. That shows us we all are inherently linked. The success of each of us is dependent on the other.
Web3 and blockchain challenges our assumptions about humanity and our collective psyche. How does mutualism, community, and kindness rule in this new paradigm? What histories and cultures can we learn from who already learned these lessons? I take inspiration from “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer who details her understandings derived from the intersection of her indigeneity and the European scientific method.
In todays ramblings, I process a lot of seemingly disparate thoughts on the following subject: settler colonialism, climate change, racism, web3, and hope. These topics come together to show with historical contextualization and emerging technology, web3 can change the world for the better.
I have been feeling that web3 needs direction and critique in how it is imagining work. Do we need to work 40 hours? What is the value we are really creating? I think that if we do not imagine a kinder and more human system, we are doomed to replicated what already exists.
On today’s episode there is not much structure and a lot of rambles BUT I share my thoughts and experience with Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in the Web3 space. I explore how my past experiences transform my understanding of corporate structuring, leadership, professionalism, and the “entrepreneurial mindset.” Who are these concepts serving and what defines them? How do our assumptions impact the nascent web3 space? Let get to pondering folks!
Today we discuss the optimism and messaging within the web3 movement. We chat about if web3 steps up to the messaging it preaches. Does web3 actually stand for a racial economic future? Or is this just lip service with no meat behind it? Hopefully this little conversation helps you decide!
It has been a while friends! I am starting this back up to explore my passion of crypto, blockchain technology, and web3! Hopefully this will be a safe space for people to learn and grow into this exciting new space, while protecting themselves and their coin.
The news might have you believe that this recently passed stimulus bill is a victory for us all. It isn’t. It is a massive 5000 page failure packed with bipartisan corporate agreements. We are being played and it’s time to wake up. This is a 12 minute rundown of what the bill actually contains; details are still coming in, but it’s a disaster.
Since the crypto market is so new and generally inaccessible to the layperson, I wanted to make an introductory guide on how to understand the CONCEPT of crypto. I believe it is more important to know about the technology, as the how to invest is more generally accessible. If y’all want another episode on crypto about how to begin actually invested, dm me on any social media platform.
Why does it seems everyone is obsessed with relevancy and attention? You guessed it: CAPITALISM!! Ahhhh, an old friend of the podcast and a frequent guest of the show. 🥰🥰
My frustrations on the progressive representation and how I have no control over what happens. How do we witness those real feelings and then move on with our day? Because sadly our voices are not going to be heard.
Today, I explore how both the Democrats and Republicans have duped their constituents. They have not radically improved the lives of those they represent. If anything we are all worse off. How has their framework peddled by corporate lobbying effected our minds?
White people often ask my black ass “En how can I help” or “What can I do” about systemic racism and anti-blackness. Well here you go, a free thing you can do; you can also pay me for my labor ($CultLeaderEn ✊🏽). Speaking these words is all the control I have, I hope you take control of what you can.
How do I find myself? How do YOU find yourself? Honestly mums the word on that one, but here I am sharing my musings.
Dealing with anxiety ain’t easy. I discuss the nature of anxiety, the mind-body connection, and how sage old wisdom has been weaponized in our culture.
I explore the motives of social media and my relationship with it. Why do I produce content? Is it for me or others? Perhaps both?! What does it mean to create public media that is consumed? I provide my thoughts on these questions and more.
Today we explore the lie weaved by “those in the shadowed smoke filled room.” The weaponization of identity politics, of our democracy, and of individualism/collectivism by people who we will never meet or talk to. We’ve all been scammed and manipulated; if you think you haven’t been, listen to this.
Hello my lovely fruit snacks ❤️ This is a short meditation for anxiety. I have included a time stamp if you just want to listen to the meditation, but afterwards I reflect on the feelings it brought up for me.
