Brittany Neunuebel is a Family Service Director at Baue Funeral Homes and St. Charles Memorial Gardens. She decided to work in funeral service because her purpose in life is to help others. All throughout her life, she has chased that purpose in Academic Advising, pursuing her Educational Doctorate in Higher Education and Student Services. She has an Ed.D., Masters in High Education Administration, a Bachelors in Interpersonal Communication, and an Associates degree in Communication. She has been in Higher Education Administration for the last 15 years and continues adjunct teaching at Lindenwood University. Additionally, she a children’s minister at Simple Church St. Louis. In her free time, Brittany spends time with her husband, and their two kids, and enjoys taking them to parks and spending time outdoors. She is an active member of Little Black Book Women in Business and on the St. Charles City-County Library Foundation Board. She actively supports many organizations and non-profits in the St. Charles County area and can be found at the 636 events, as she likes to say, “all the galas” around town.Baue Funeral Homes has been an established funeral home in St. Charles since the 1930s. There are three Baue Funeral Home locations – Downtown St. Charles, off of Cave Springs, and in Ofallon, MO. The Cave Springs location is where the St. Charles Memorial Gardens Cemetery is located. The Baue Family purchased the perpetual cemetery in 1961. St. Charles Memorial Gardens is a beautiful area with options for traditional ground burial, above-ground burial, and many unique cremation-specific options. Baue Funeral Homes pride itself on the Baue difference and assisting in making funerals unique for each individual service.

In this podcast, we talked to Lisa Key, Chief Development Officer of Emmaus Homes. She has worked in development for more than 30 years. Emmaus homes is one the largest nonprofit organization in St. Charles area and provides services to adults with developmental disabilities.

David Reed is the Owner of Mathnasium of St Peters. David spent over 20 years in Management and wanted to do something different, especially since all the experience made him ready to own and run his own business. The location opened in 2017 after nine months of training, site selection, and space build out. The Math Learning Center had to weather COVID and all of the challenges associated with a Pandemic and future uncertainty. Mathnasium was a valuable crutch for parents who suddenly had to become math teachers. With students more behind than ever in math, the location is growing and helping more students seemingly every day.
Mathnasium opened its first location in October 2002, so we are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary this October. Mathnasium has helped hundreds of thousands of students improve their math skills and master concepts. Mathnasium has expanded to nine other countries (Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Mexico, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Vietnam) and three more (Kuwait, Lebanon, and Qatar) will be opening locations.
Mathnasium of St Peters North opened in mid 2017 and approximately 400 new Mathnasium locations have opened in the US in those 5 years. The St Peters location serves the communities of St Peters, St Charles, O’Fallon, Weldon Spring, Orchard Farm, St Paul, and others in eastern St Charles County. This location helps students from the school districts of Fort Zumwalt, Francis Howell, St Charles, Orchard Farm, as well as nearly two dozen private schools.
