As we continue this month on temptations we talk about practical ways to truly overcome it! There is no temptation Jesus has not overcame here on earth so we can do the something!!
Last week we talked about what temptation was and the 3 forms that we see it in our lives. This week we are headed all over the bible to see how different people overcame temptation but also the few who fell into temptation. We all stumble at some point but don't worry!!! God has given us the tools to overcome.
Let's talk about temptation...we have all fall into or have at some point but let's talk about sources of temptation, what the Bible says, and a sprinkle of some last day characteristics. Follow along with us and join us at the well, its always room for you!
Another year around the sun and being able to spread God's word and deepen our relationship with God. Spend time with us as we recap the blessings from this year. Its not The Watering Well if we didn't get into the word... just a little; RIGHT! With celebration in the air, we also take time to acknowledge the feelings and trials of this year. Its okay to not be okay but know that God has plans for your to succeed and will use those experiences for our good.

If you have been following along on our goal setting journey than it is now time for us to do some work. God is doing his part; working behind the scene. Now it's time for us to make room for what God is about to do in our life. We must get rid of the old; old habits, old mindsets, old ways of thinking, etc. Come with us as we talk about how we will make room for our blessings in this season.
The focus for the month of January is INTENTION! As we connect with God on our goals for 2023 we must e intention in our time with him. Once we have written the vision we must the wait expectantly for him and his promise which we know stands firm forever! In this episode we talk about how to truly set our expectations for God and allow him to work on our behalf.
5....4....3...2..1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We are blessed to see another year!! At the beginning of the year MANY people create vision boards but by the summertime don't even look at them. Today, we dive into how to be intentional in our goal setting and really talk about why we even write our goals down. This is your year! Claim it!
We have been discussing the highest form of freedom that we have... choice!!! In this parable we follow 10 bridesmaids 5 who were well prepared and 5 who were unprepared. This is a story of choice and salvation. As we finish up the last few days of 2022 and its time to make a choice! Choose Love!!
We have all heard that money is the root of all evil; BUT in this economy how can we not see money as essential?! As we continue our talk about choices and choosing the Lord, we must stop and consider the root of our problems and be honest with the role we allow money to play in our life. More money more problems so how can we be content in what the Lord has provided? That's what we are discussing today.
This life we are living now is not the end. As we go through life and this walk with God we learn that we have life after death; Heaven or Hell. But how do we know if we are going to heaven… or hell. Journey with us today as we discuss who will make it into heaven and how we can make it into heaven.
Just like life and the world around us, everything goes through seasons; even FRIENDSHIPS! In this episode we dive into the different types and seasons of friendships. God did not create us to go through life alone but also Jesus only had 2 close friends on earth and then disciples. Come with us to talk about friendships and how we can lead them in God's love.
Sometimes it seems like we can NEVER catch a break from our suffering! I mean every time we turn around its something else gone wrong; on top of the things that have already went wrong. We have been talking about being pressed and shaken BUT JOB!!! He was shaken to his core!! As we journey through the Book of Job and his story we learn that:
1. We are not so different from Job
2. How God really causes the blessing to over flow AND the blessing is DOUBLE the suffering.

Is Halloween bad? Is it really "the devil's holiday" Southern grandma voice? Is it okay to at least just dress up? It's so much surrounding halloween as a christians; in this episode we will discuss what the Bible says about Halloween. The fight isn't against flesh and blood so is this just another day or more to it!
Its easy to ASSUME what God wants from us as Christians; we have all thought we HAVE to be perfect, never sin, Walk the straight line, Know every scripture in the Bible, and all the other things we think we need to do for God but what if we only have to LOVE and Give God the glory!!! Its easy to read about Moses and the Israelites and assume that he didn't ld them into the promise land because of disobedience; HOWEVER that may not be the full story!!! Growing up, my parents would always say "We are blessed to be a blessing" at the end of our family prayer. I never understood what that phrase meant until now. During this episode we discuss what christ meant when he said "Who ever is first among you will be last..." and truly having a servant heart. God has bought us with a high price so how can we not see our own worth? Its very easy actually BUT in this episode we are combating the Devil's lies with the word of God that has already claimed greatness and success over our life. After watching this episode I pray you keep God's words near your heart and any time the enemy tries to remind you of your past or make you feel less than, you yell " I AM MORE THAN THE THOUGHTS I HAVE OR THE THINGS PEOPLE HAS SAID ABOUT ME BECAUSE GOD GOT ME!!"
Continuing on with the words you speak creates the life you live, we dive deeper into how God sees us. In this episode we talk about Jesus coming in like a hurricane to stop the marketplace that was set up in the temple. Just like us God will come and wreck all the things we have allowed to take root in our life leaving less room for God. e
Once we become an adult we begin to associate the word obedience with children. Kids should be obedient; listen to their parents; do as they are told; etc. But God needs for us to be obedient as well. When we are being pressed down and before we receive the blessing, God gives us instructions and just like a game or escape room, you cannot move forward until you completed all the steps and followed all of the rules. Sometimes we forget that the devil also knows the scripture. The devil recited scripture to Jesus trying to tempt him; so why would he not do the same to us? the battle we fight is in our mind and when we start to get miss aligned with God it makes it easier for the devil to slip in and stir up the war. This week we are talking about how to realign our selves with God and win the war!!
Take a deep breath! Unclench your jaw! Relax your shoulders! God has your back! Stress does not add a single minute to your life (Matthew 6:27) so why carry this extra weight? Come spend some Time with us as we relax and spend sometime with God.

That's a lot like Peter, after fishing all night and catching nothing; Jesus tells him to go back out and try again.
