Radical Review: Recent Episodes

For far too long the public has been forced to believe that there are only two political points of view, the conservative view, and the liberal view. But, there is another view that has been constantly ignored. It is the "radical" view. Radical Review is a podcast designed to address political issues confronting America by exploring radical solutions to solve some of our nation’s most pressing problems.
A word about a scurrilous unfounded rumor that is going around. The rumor is that I sued the SCDP for $100.000 dollars. It is a flat-out lie. As my grandmother used to say a lie don't care who tells it. Of course, I did bring a lawsuit against the SCDP AND THE RCDP. The $100,000 dollars everyone seems to be talking about is the amount the prior leadership has its attorneys out of your donated funds to fight the lawsuit. The lawsuit does not, I repeat, does not request any monetary damages. That means that even if I win the party will not pay anything. The lawsuit is on appeal to the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
So why has the prior party leadership spent over $100,000 dollars to fight a lawsuit that could have been settled in twenty days? There are two reasons: (1) because they don’t want me to examine their books and (2) plain old white arrogance.
“Caucuses play an important role in the Democratic Party, both nationally and in South Carolina. Caucuses unite people with a common interest, so that they may more effectively advocate for that interest. Caucuses identify issues, raise awareness of those issues, and promote their importance. Those issues may become part of the national and state party platforms, thereby committing the party to work on their behalf. Caucuses give voice to individuals and communities who have traditionally been disenfranchised and disadvantaged within the political system.” Caucuses within a political organization exist to advocate, agitate, and lobby. As such caucuses must be free to operate according to the dictates of their membership and their collective conscience. It is only in this way that caucuses can truly be the conscience of the political organization of which they are a part. Caucuses, therefore, must be independent. Their reason for existence absolutely requires it.
Resolutions exist to bring issues of importance to the members of the body, and those who they represent to the attention of the Democratic Party.

Precincts are the soil from which the Democratic Party must grow. The soil must be cultivated and nourished - or it will not bear fruit. If we want to grow we must start with the precincts. Empower the precincts with training and resources and we win.
We, the South Carolina Democratic Party have been given a historic opportunity that requires independent, progressive, radical leadership.
South Carolina has first-in-the-nation primary status. But what will we do with it? Will we continue to govern the party by rules designed to concentrate power in the Chair while ignoring the concerns and priorities of the overwhelming majority of its electorate? This method, having proven ineffective, must be abandoned. We must have a plan that will be adhered to by the next leaders. The plan must precede leadership.
Over the last few weeks, I have had the privilege of hearing from many delegates and party donors who are legitimately concerned about the future of the party. I have also been contacted by several persons who are considering running for leadership positions in the party. These people believe, as do I that no matter who the leaders are, whether present or newly elected, they must have a plan of action that is comprehensive, inclusive, and representative of the party as it presently exists. I have told them that I will support any candidates who have such a comprehensive, substantive plan of action and who promise to adhere to it if elected.
IT IS NOT THE LEADERSHIP BUT THE FACT WE CONTINUALLY ELECT LEADERSHIP WHO HAVE NO PLAN - ONLY A REPETITION OF THE THE OLD INEFFECTIVE APPROACH THAT RAISES FUNDS AND LOSES ELECTIONS.
YES, WE NEED NEW LEADERSHIP BUT LEADERSHIP THAT HAS A WELL-THOUGHT-OUT PLAN DESIGNED TO REVERSE OUR LOSSES AND TURN SOUTH CAROLINA BLUE IN 2024.

It introduces my theory of the enlightened Critical Mass (CM) and the survival necessity to adopt a military mindset, as well as the focus on reparations for the descendants of enslaved Africans and of alliances to attain the goal of fundamental fairness.
