Have you ever been unsure what your calling is? This week, with special host John Drury and guest Mick Veach, have a conversation about Mick's calling to ministry. They discuss how we don't have to always know where we are going but as we move with God, God will direct us.
Whether smuggling Bibles, feeding lepers or planting a church among an unreached Islamic nation, Mick Veach’s commitment to share the love of God with the lost has taken him to the ends of the earth. Now as a mission-minded pastor and Forge speaker, Mick desires to see God’s truth compel others to Great Commission action and to foster healthy local churches that engage in evangelism and discipleship.

Holy cow. People need to hear this episode. So often we hear about this immediate, drastic call. But yet, with Mickey's calling, it is purely a calling that is progressive and it is so beautiful. Not only that, but her heart for youth is mind-blowing and encouraging to all those that are around. So grab a pen and pad, and take some notes! Enjoy!

Sometimes the calling that is placed on our lives is not the one that we want it to be. Sometimes it is also not the thing that you are most gifted at or your heart is warmed by. However, it is what God is calling you to and it is important to fulfill that because He will equip you. Nathan York helps us understand this throughout his calling story, so sit back and enjoy as we listen to this!

Worship is a topic that the church has not always explained well. Oftentimes, we think that worship is just singing through song, or the three songs that play on a Sunday morning. On this episode, we are joined by someone that has a unique calling to creativity within worship. Aynsley Vermilya blessed our day today as she discussed the way that her calling has shaped and changed throughout her life! Sit back and enjoy!

JOY! If I had one word to describe Dei and this episode, it would be joy. Not only that, but there were also so many laughs and great pieces of advice that are for anyone that has a call to ministry. Wrestling with God is something that is confusing and sometimes seen as a negative, but in reality, it can be a positive! On this episode, Dei outlines the ways that she has wrestled with God and the benefit that has come from that. Sit back and enjoy this episode, and join us in laughs as well!

Music in Every Episode is Performed by Caledonia
Caledonia is a folk rock band from Fort Wayne, Indiana. They like spending time outside, cracking good dad jokes, and most importantly, writing and creating music for people to hear (and eventually love). You can find them on instagram @officialcaledonia to learn more about them and hear some more of their music.
Their first offering, the bedroom sessions EP, is available now to listen here: https://caledoniaband.bandcamp.com/releases
About the bedroom sessions EP:
"The bedroom sessions EP is a small collection of originals that are in decent demo form, mixed and mastered by the members of caledonia in bedrooms, living rooms, backyards, kitchens, cars, and anywhere else music might be listened too. Note that these are placeholders for more professional recordings to come soon, so they won't be studio quality; however, they were written, played, and created with love and gratitude for anyone who will listen. Enjoy."

Enjoy."

This Week, we hear the calling story of Emily Kaufman. Emily is the most interesting woman alive. Ok maybe that is an exaggeration but Emily is a storyteller and can captivate any audience with her tales. As Emily dives into her story of being called into ministry, she also examines the challenge that comes with being a woman called into ministry.

Enjoy."
This week, we sit down with Chris Whetlor, who is Dan's dad as well as a pastor of 17 years. A warning to all who listen: He is British and has a heavy accent... which is so awesome! Chris has an amazing story of his call, please enjoy it with us!
