This movie is bonkers. It is probably the most depressing movie I have ever watched that was billed as a comedy.

I love Elmore Leonard. It is rare that I watch something based on one of his books that I don't love cough Be Cool cough cough a combination of him and Soderbergh was very exciting.

This movie starts with a lot of promise, then gets pretty weird, but ends strong.

This was a real surprise for me. I had, somehow, avoided spoilers for the last decade and so was able to watch it, relatively, fresh. If you haven't seen it, please do!

Episode three is one of Quentin Tarantino's earlier movies, and I believe the only one he wrote but didn't direct. Christian Slater is a bit of a Mary Sue here, but overall it's pretty great.

Episode two is Only Lovers Left Alive! We're back baby!

We're finally back! I know it's been awhile, but the world has been crazy and, also, editing is hard. So, here we are with our new season. Up first, The Raod to Wellville.

Act 2 of Detroit is an amazing movie. But it suffers from a lack of focus and depth.

Probably the best movie based on Rock'em Sock'em robots. Wait, I forgot about The Remains of the Day.

A middling remake of a classic. At some point in this episode, Matt makes a claim about Michael Keaton's character that is, quite frankly, insane. It was, literally, months ago and I'm still baffled by it.

One of the greatest movies ever made. Period. Now, unfortunately, more relevant than ever.

Oh geez, this is just a weird movie. Like, really weird. I appreciate that they made it, because it's just so strange.

Part of this movie was shot at the Broad Art Museum in East Lansing, Michigan. A place we have been! We've walked the steps that Ben Affleck walked, so we're technically Batman. Also, this movie sucks.

This is one of the greatest movies ever made, according to Nick. Set in Grosse Pointe Michigan, but mainly shot in California.

Matt wanted to watch this because his grandma recommended it. Which is adorable, but I kinda wish she'd picked a better movie.
