“Island Time” is a podcast not just for instructors but also for students at TAMU-CC that shines a light on the inner working of the campus and the lives of teachers. Listeners will learn about campus resources, learning communities, various classes offered, majors, and receive advice from teachers and current and former students. Ed is a graduate from TAMU-CC and currently works at NOAA. In the interview, Ed talks about the importance of writing and listening skills, student organizations and finding a faculty mentor. I had fun talking to my friend and former classmate and I hope you enjoy listening us!
Zach is a 2020 cum laude graduate from TAMU-CC with a degree in Biology with Animal concentration and current grad student at TAMU. Join us as Zach explains the process he went through to enter into grad school, the importance of internships, and how critical it is to really take time to talk to your professors.
