Thoughts and conversations about mystic and visionary topics including Shamanism, Reiki, energy medicine and co-creating with Nature Spirits.
Trees love it when we communicate and interact with them. They will reciprocate by reaching out to us, literally with their branches, or with their energy. Young folks are finding this out and sharing their experiences on social media. It gives me great hope.
I learn what it like to share space with blackberries, their sweetness and thorns. I go right to the Deva as source for their unique point of view and find quite a surprise.
We are in the midst of an unraveling and a quickening. This is happening on a collective level as institutions are crumbling and the ways things have been done for centuries are becoming redundant and unsustainable.
This is of course being mirrored in our own personal lives through our relationships with others and ourselves.
When we cling too tightly to the things that we have, we are not getting the chance to grow and evolve. We can be fixed on our attachment to our material possessions, to the relationships that we have emotionally invested in, and the structure and format of how we do things.
When we commit to a conscious or spiritual practice like meditation or shamanic journeying, are we practicing? Or do we have a practice? Or both? What is the difference? I share my thoughts on this and and why it may be such an important part of one’s spiritual path.
Consciously engaging with Spirit in co-creative partnership takes mindfulness and intention. It is a retraining out of a human-centric way of thinking into a kinship way of thinking. When it comes to working with the Fae it also helps to get me out of my serious state of mind and into a more playful and childlike point of you. One thing that has been helping me do this better is gardening.
Human beings are naturally connected with the Spirit in all things, but we have lost this point of view over centuries of human-centric exploitation and colonialism. Reclaiming our animistic foundation is key to creating a healthy life ourselves on the planet. We can look to indigenous and fellow conservation and social justice legal advocates to lead the way introducing a new realm of legal personhood for nature.
How we can partner with the spirits of the land and nature beings to create ceremonies to bring harmony and balance to an area.
In this episode I talk about how we can have active and also passive roles in ceremonies and how our intentions weave together with many others creating collective change.
We talk about ceremony, how they became ceremonialists, and why ceremony is so important for humans especially in this day and age.
Participating in a couple of powerful global ceremonies led my spirit team to help me create new ways of looking at personal ceremony. The ceremonies are away for me to bridge the mundane and the reverent, the physical and the etheric and to bring harmony to myself, others and my environment.
Continuing our practice of being in our second attention and using our felt sense, we can receive and understand the messages that come from the subtle energies of nature beings and Devas.
In this episode we talk about our own unique energetic signature which is like our background frequency. It is that sense of ourselves that is always there that we hardly pay attention to while we’re busy living our lives.
The Spirit of dandelion shares their gifts and why they are of special help in these shifting times.
Nature spirits are always paying attention to our intentions, and we have to realize that when we make promises we need to follow through on them. They also let us know when we are overstepping into their wild areas when they don’t appreciate it. But we can learn how to make a common space where we can come together in good relationship.
What is growing right around us is the medicine that we need at the time. A lot of Lemon balm is growing around me and gave me a sweet lesson.
We acquire power objects in many ways, but most often the spirits of the objects specifically choose us. And then they teach us what they want us to know.
What are power objects in the context of shamanism and how do we connect with them in our spiritual practice?
I look at what is up for many of us right now, boundary issues. How is this showing up for some of us, and how we must re-visit our relationship with our boundaries.
Sometimes we feel the need to evaluate the spiritual path that we are on. Then do we look at it as progress or as I like to think about it, alignment. I share some sign posts that help me figure out how aligned I am as I travel down my spiritual path.
We’ve all had those times when we feel we are not moving forward in our spiritual journey. What are some of the obstacles we encounter and where are they really coming from?
A faerie ally helps with a lesson about discerning with intuition, and trust over doubt.

This time of winter darkness holds many gifts and we journey into it to discover the potential of creation.
What it looks like when trees and humans work together to create art and kinship. Much can be learned from the tree teachers in ordinary and non-ordinary reality.
Words and thoughts have great power and are perpetually creating our stories. It is up to us to realize which ones may be causing disharmony in our lives. In shamanism this is called “stalking”. We set the intention to become aware of the underlying stream of our thoughts throughout the day. Another one of the gifts that the Undines, the water Elementals give us is the gift of fluidity. We can change our thoughts once we are aware of them.
How do we reconcile pollution in the elements while still seeing the elementals in their divinity? How can we be in right relationship with them and give them our support?
Being mindful of our everyday flow of experiences can bring us into a state of reverence and ceremony.
Once we make the intention to connect, we need to follow through and communicate. Here are some simple ideas on how to do that by coming from the heart and using your voice.
