Love Your Demons is no ordinary course, and it turns out Petra is no ordinary course creator!

In this week’s episode I want you to meet Petra Williams, Transformational Coach and first time course creator who went from an email list of zero email to a sold out first launch!

When Petra started creating her course, she had two big obstacles stacked against her - no email list and no online presence (not to mention being a full time Mum to 2 tiny children).

Add to that a course topic that didn’t promise ‘quick and easy’ but instead invited students to step into the dungeon and face their demons. I’ll be honest, on a first assessment I thought we’d have a long slow road ahead of us, but it shows how wrong first impressions can be. Petra is dynamite, once she set herself a goal, she was driven and fearless in her actions to achieve it.

I think you’ll enjoy today’s episode as we explore how she went from zero to hero.

Now if you’ve been thinking about running a bootcamp for your next launch, then I want to share the 3 secrets that have made both my bootcamps successful.

Here’s the behind the scenes look at my last bootcamp that ran in February 2022:

  • 250 people registered for the bootcamp
  • 129 joined the Facebook group
  • 100 + daily views on training videos
  • 31% average open rate on emails
  • 8% conversion rate into my course

Once you nail the winning formula for your bootcamp, you can run these on rinse and repeat for each launch.

But what is the winning formula?

In this episode I’ll share my 3 secrets to supercharge your bootcamp, and these won’t cost you anything (except your time!)!

If you've arrived in 2022 feeling a little less than excited, then you're not alone. So many of us look at the year ahead and have a tiny seed of regret creeping in. If any variation of these are popping up as you look at the year ahead, then you're not alone. But I want you to plug into this episode and soak up the the antidote to self-doubt, to self-criticism and judgement. Instead, join me on the journey as I share how to plan your content for the year ahead and keep taking imperfect action so you can create momentum, flow and produce huge results.

When it comes to launching your online course, choosing between a webinar or challenge is one of the first decisions you'll be making. These launch events help you create excitement and interest in your course, but each have their own merits.

As a seasoned launcher, I've always run a webinar, but this time I'm launching with a challenge (aka bootcamp). So why have I made this choice? What are the pros and cons of each method? That's what I'll be sharing this this week's podcast episode.

If you are exploring how to launch and sell your course, then this episode is an honest look behind the scenes at my own launch and what I'm doing to promote and sell my course.

If you've done a live launch for your course, then you'll know launching can be draining. Think webinars, ads, bonuses, social visibility, discovery calls and sales emails...and all that before you start welcoming students in!

No wonder we feel burnt out and exhausted after a launch, but there is another way. This week on the podcast I'm chatting with Rachelle Glendon, a slow living coach and podcaster.

Rachelle helps Mums who work from home manage the juggle of family life with her slow living philosophy. And on the show today she helps me unpack what it means to live slow and how we can apply these principals to our launches.

Rachelle is a course creator herself and knows exactly how stressful launching can be, so she speaks from experience when it comes to changing our default setting from frazzled and frantic to calm and intentional.

What's standing between you and your online course dream?

Chances are if you get really honest with yourself, it's you.

You keep breaking appointments with yourself to do the work... You feel like there's never enough time.. You feel like you don't know the next step... You don't have a plan so remain stuck...

Are any of these landing for you?

Tough love coming your way...

I hear from soooo many clients that they have a half-finished course, or a course in their head that they are not able to move forward with, and you know what each and every one of them needs?

Accountability.

There's nothing more powerful than knowing you've said out loud to someone else that you'll do something.

But accountability is not a magic wand. It won't make your procrastination disappear overnight, but what it will do is give you the kick-up the backside you need to take action.

In today's episode I share 4 different forms of accountability to suit any personality type (or budget).

BONUS - If you're listening to this episode in June 2021 and are a business owner in WA, Qld or NT then there is a special bonus free session that you can apply for using the link in the show notes below.

Chances are you've heard about the power of storytelling in your content, but maybe your confused about what that really means. I mean, how do you tell a story in an email without ending up with a version of War and Peace that nobody wants to read?!

And what about on your sales page, are you supposed to be adding a story to that?

This week on the podcast I am beyond excited to welcome Dani Paige; storyteller extraordinaire and launch copywriter to unpack what this whole storytelling malarkey is all about.

I loved geeking out on all things copywriting with Dani. Here's what we chatted about in this week's episode:

  • What is story telling when it comes to your copy?
  • Why is it so powerful?
  • How can we use this in our course launches?
  • Where should we use story telling?
  • What are your 3 top tips for story telling in launch copy?

We had a blast and I hope you love this episode as much as I do!

In this episode I'm sharing why you don't need all the bells and whistles of a fancy tech platform to deliver your course!

Often as course creator's it's the tech that keeps us stuck. But it doesn't have to be that way! If you are creating a new course, then I'd love you to get it up and running fast so you can:

a) earn some $$$ and,

b) road test it with real students before making a big investment in a learning platform.

In this episode I'm hoping you'll get curious about delivering your next course as a minimum viable product and seeing if this allows you to be more nimble and responsive in your course creation and launching.

Even if you already have a learning management platform there's good reason to launch with a MVP version of your course first - find out what that reason is (and why I am doing exactly that with my new course).
