Dear Donald Trump,
You're a pathetic excuse for a human being.
You avoided paying taxes for nearly two decades.
And now you profit from the Presidency to pay down your debt.
I see right through your narcissism: you think the rules don't apply to you.
But let me make myself clear:
We will all send you a message in November by voting out your Republican cronies. A vast majority of Americans want you out of the White House. This has nothing to do with being Republican or Democrat and that is the truth. It is about the most dangerous President this country has ever had.. EVER! You mus be voted out of office as we're all sure that you will be .

We're discussing the latest news and headlines in the US and in the UK LIve! - On Sunday, the New York Times published detail into the US president's finances, citing detailed tax records that the newspaper says "portray a businessman who takes in hundreds of millions of dollars a year yet racks up chronic losses." In addition to the 11 years in which he paid no taxes during the 18 years examined by The Times, he paid only $750 in each of the two most recent years — 2016 and 2017.— Even while declaring losses, he has managed to enjoy a lavish lifestyle by taking tax deductions on what most people would consider personal expenses, including residences, aircraft and $70,000 in hairstyling for television.Ivanka Trump, while working as an employee of the Trump Organization, appears to have received “consulting fees” (She reportedly received $747,622 from a consulting company she co-owned that exactly matched consulting fees claimed as tax deductions by Trump Org for projects in Vancouver & Hawaii.) that also helped reduce the family’s tax bill. (And they complain about Hunter Biden)?— As president, Trump has received more money from foreign sources and U.S. interest groups than previously known. The records do not reveal any previously unreported connections to Russia.Trump has paid no federal income taxes for much of the past two decades. - On Sunday, the New York Times published detail into the US president's finances, citing detailed tax records that the newspaper says "portray a businessman who takes in hundreds of millions of dollars a year yet racks up chronic losses."
"The tax returns for Mr. Trump and hundreds of his businesses reveal the hollowness, but also the wizardry, of the self-made-billionaire image honed through 'The Apprentice,'" the Times concluded. "They demonstrate that he was far more successful playing a business mogul than being one in real life."
Trump paid no or little federal income taxes for years. According to the Times,Donald Trump paid zero taxes in 11 out of the 18 years that were examined. He also managed to pay federal income taxes of just $750 in each of the first two years of his presidency, 2016 and 2017. The report shed some light on how this was able to happen, namely by the way his businesses reported their earnings.
He made money from foreign deals after becoming president. "When he took office, Mr. Trump said he would pursue no new foreign deals as president," the Times reported. "Even so, in his first two years in the White House, his revenue from abroad totaled $73 million."

- President Donald Trump's refusal to commit to a peaceful presidential transition Wednesday comes as Republicans across the country are taking concrete steps that threaten to undermine the integrity of the election, particularly in key battleground states.
- Facebook said Thursday it had identified and shut down a network of fake accounts that included fictitious personas it said were tied to Russian military intelligence.
- In the wake of President Donald Trump equivocating as to whether he would transfer power to Joe Biden in the event of a defeat at the ballot box in 40 days, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tried to clear things up on Thursday.
Spoiler alert: She didn't!
"The President will accept the results of a free and fair election," said McEnany. So, by that standard, the only way that the election will be "free and fair" (in McEnany's words) is if all mail-in ballots -- many of which have already been sent and returned! -- are somehow disqualified (or something?).

He said he has spoken to “many people” when asked how many people he has interviewed. “I’ve spoken to many and we are getting close to a decision,” Trump said.
Which it is! The last 42 days of a presidential election are always filled with unpredictable storylines, big moments and, more than anything, uncertainty.
But this election is not like past elections, argues longtime Democratic strategist Doug Sosnik in a series of slides organized under the title "The Coronavirus Election: The Voting has Begun."
- On Monday night in Ohio, Lt. Gov. Jon Husted was warming up the crowd for President Donald Trump -- and trying to sell some campaign merchandise.
"I'm trying to make masks in America great again and I've got President Trump's masks," Husted, a Republican, told the audience gathered in an airplane hangar in Vandalia.
That's when the boos from the crowd -- sitting closely together and most without masks on -- started. Husted, because he thought he was facing a friendly-ish crowd, went on.

Former Vice President Joe Biden continues to lead President Trump in the 2020 presidential election nationally by a substantial margin, according to the latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.
Biden leads Trump by 9 points, 52% to 43%, among likely voters, the survey finds. This is the first time this election cycle the poll has screened for likely voters — this narrower group is the most likely to actually cast a ballot, compared to the larger group of people who are registered to vote.

The October issue of Scientific American will carry what has never been seen in the magazine’s pages in 175 years: a presidential endorsement.
In an urgent and impassioned editorial first published online Tuesday, the editorial board endorsed former vice president Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee, calling him the candidate “who is offering fact-based plans to protect our health, our economy and the environment.”

As a result, the entire community is protected, even those who are not themselves immune. Herd immunity is usually achieved through vaccination, but it can also occur through natural infection.

In 1996, President Bill Clinton was promising a "bridge to the 21st century" in Milwaukee. George W. Bush was calling John Kerry an Iraq War flip-flopper in Poplar Bluffs, Missouri, in 2004. Barack Obama talked up his auto bailout in Toledo, Ohio, in 2012 -- but only after touring hurricane damage on the Gulf Coast.
Summoning reporters to the White House North Portico for a midday news conference, Trump again used the executive mansion as a political stage -- an ethical line he started bending months ago but broke and threw away completely during last month's Republican National Convention.

- McEnany had asserted earlier Thursday that Carter "said in 2005, as part of a bipartisan commission, absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud."
FACTS FIRST: But Carter on Thursday pointed to a statement last May from the Carter Center endorsing the use of mail-in ballots. Using the findings from the 2005 commission report, that statement argued "that where safeguards for ballot integrity are in place ... there was little evidence of voter fraud."
- Even Fox News is choosing not to cover Trump's rallies in full, but his falsehoods are still eye-popping
"Mr. (Daniel) Prude lost his life in our city. He lost his life because of the actions of our police officers," Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren said Thursday in a news conference.
- President Donald Trump is right in believing most Americans don't want violence in their streets. But it's America's profound tragedy and grave danger that he, Trump, seems to want more of it. That Trump wants chaos and mayhem is not a secret. It has been confirmed repeatedly by his team.
- Trump, as his tweet on Wednesday makes crystal clear, in his mind, feels like he is doing the country a favor in serving as president. He sees the presidency as an inconvenience -- one he is only willing to take on because he believes only he can fix what ails the country. (We need to talk about this. 515-605-9888)
- .Barr -- again, the TOP law enforcement official in the country -- is suggesting: foreign countries could well send in "thousands" of fake mail-in ballots -- thus compromising the 2020 presidential election. His reasoning is that it is easy to make a counterfeit mail-in ballot and that so many states are moving toward more absentee voting in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. He has also stated that he has seen no evidence of this.

And if I didn’t, we would have a chart that you wouldn’t believe," Trump said at a briefing on Friday, referring to White House models on where the virus has spread in the U.S. and how many deaths have occurred.Details: 279 flights from China have arrived in the U.S. since Trump's travel restrictions were announced, "and screening procedures have been uneven," the Times notes. The big picture: At least 430,000 people have flown to the U.S. from China since Dec. 31, when China first informed the World Health Organization about cases of novel coronavirus in Wuhan, the Times reports.

NEWS HEADLINE Because of fear of further spreading COVID-19, Joe Biden and the Democrats scaled the upcoming Democratic National Convention down to basically a virtual event....no arena packed with people.
Donald Trump ridiculed Biden and the Dems for doing this. Trump and his supporters were hell-bent on having their full-blown Republican National Convention.
After all...to Trump and his non-mask wearing supporters: COVID-19 is nothing, no worse than the seasonal flu.
Well, fast forward a few weeks....and on yesterday, Trump was forced to scrap the Republican National Convention in Jacksonville, Florida because of COVID-19. The coronavirus cases and deaths are skyrocketing in Florida.
How does a man who can't breathe without crowded arenas jam-packed with supporters screaming out "Make America Great", let a virus that "ain't shit" force him to cancel the Republican National Convention, which is the crown jewel of the Republican election season?

Our featured guest today is John Ellison, writer of the song "Some Kind of Wonderful". The song was first recorded by his group, Soul Brothers Six in 1967, and peaked at number 91 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Probably the best-known version is by Grand Funk Railroad in 1974 which reached number 3 on the same chart. The song has been covered by over 60 artists in various genres and has also charted high in the UK. It would be hard to find anybody almost worldwide who has not heard this song performed by Soul Brothers Six or covered by another group or artist.
