Carlos Medeiros is a a twenty-nine year old Portuguese native trying to make some good things in different countries. He left home when he was twenty-one after opening a restaurant alongside his brother in law and friend. When Carlos realized he was in way over his depth, he knew it was time to leave for the unknown. Carlos booked a ticket, packed his bags, borrowed 2000£ and left the country to go to the UK.
His original plan was to stay in the UK for one year and then move to Australia. However, his trip to Australia never happened. Since moving to the UK Carlos has been working in Michelin star restaurants in Britain, Holland and now Norway.
Apart from cooking Carlos has two other passions, his girlfriend and jiu jitsu.

David is a doctor of physical therapy who started his own company to remotely take care of his fellow jiu jitsu athletes within just a year of finishing PT school. During that time though, he started down his own path of healing using plant medicines, and he became more interested in helping people improve their mental and spiritual health instead of just working on the physical aspects of wellness. Together with his wife, David is now helping others start or progress on their paths with plant medicines through facilitating private psilocybin ceremonies, organizing Ayahuasca retreats with indigenous healers in Peru, and by coaching people on how to incorporate psilocybin microdosing into their lives. He's also on a mission to reinstate an aspect of spirituality into jiu jitsu, which seems to have eschewed this aspect that's shared by every traditional martial art. You can find more on his instagram @davidzbjj or at becomingom.com where you can learn about the microdosing program and the retreats David and his wife offer, including the world's first ever plant medicine infused jiu jitsu retreat in Mexico.

My life being raised in rural Alberta is a story of service.
I am a married mother of two children. I value Conservatism and my Christian beliefs. Together, my family run a small business and our family's ranch land is tucked in the heart of southern Alberta. As part of a family operating a small business, I understand the difficulties the past few years have brought upon our rural communities in Livingstone-Macleod with rampant inflation, and run-away cost of living.
My service as a nurse in our community for 12 years has been one of care and compassion to ensure everyone is taken care of in our community.
Taking care of people did not stop at the hospital. I serve as the community coordinator of the fastest growing not-for-profit organization in the community called My City Care. I work to provide a team of volunteers with everything they need to operate our many programs such as the Shop of Wonders, the Cinderella project, Farm to table, and the Lunch box program. I favour a hand up approach, over handouts and these programs work towards this idea.
In 2020, I was recognized locally as Citizen of the Year for my volunteer work and community involvement, which has encouraged me to continue to serve in any way I can.
As the Mayor of Claresholm, I have worked to be of service to my entire community. I knew I needed to get involved in public service after seeing the unprecedented changes and challenges the past few years have brought about in our homes and communities.
I want to ensure we do everything we can to keep this province the best place to live and raise a family.
I lead by example and have never been shy about standing up for my values and beliefs, and I wont be shy about standing up for you.
Listening to the people of Livingstone-Macleod and putting you first is my top priority.
I will continue to stand up for what is best for our communities. With your support, I am standing up to serve our small towns, ranches, farms, and the most beautiful riding in Alberta. I humbly ask for your support to serve as your voice in the legislature.

Theo Fleury is perhaps best known for his time on the ice. But off the rink, his life once carried the markings of a troubled childhood, abuse and coping with emotional pain through addictive and self-destructive behaviours.
Today, Theo defines himself as a victor over trauma and addiction, and a facilitator to those still trying to find their way. His best-selling books, Playing with Fire and Conversations with a Rattlesnake, encourage open sharing and provide practical tools that people seeking help can personally use. These tools are also useful to those who want to lead a productive conversation, called “Real Conversations”, with anybody else experiencing trauma.
Theo has been awarded the Canadian Humanitarian Award and the Queen’s Jubilee Medallion. He is a Siksika Nation Honorary Chief and recipient of the Aboriginal Inspire Award. He also holds two honorary doctorates – one in Science from the University of Guelph-Humber for outstanding contributions to the mental health of Canadians, and another in Laws from Brandon University for his work in combating child abuse and promoting healing and recovery.

Tanya Clemens, UCP Nomination Candidate or Livingstone-Macleod
Why I’m running:
I am born and raised in Livingstone-Macleod and have always felt the calling to serve my community. I view political leadership as both a service and a civic duty.
Alberta sits at a precipice. If we continue heading toward the sovereign Alberta the United Conservative Party (UCP) is leading us towards, we will realize the prosperity and freedom Albertans deserve. If we do not continue on this path, slipping backwards from this precipice, we risk unprecedented damage to our core industries (natural resource development, agriculture, etc.), resulting in further hardships for Albertans.
I am very proud of our rural roots, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong work ethic. I want power returned to the people of this province and for our elected representatives to acknowledge their leadership as a service to their constituents.

Tom Marazzo has been dedicated to serving Canadians since 1990 when he joined the Army Reserve, while still in high school. Eight years later, he enrolled in the Regular Force Army and was granted the commission of Combat Engineer Officer, soon rising to Captain. Tom worked in the Division Engineer Office in Toronto where he participated in the G8/G20 Summit in 2010. While in the military, Tom earned a Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology and Architecture, and an MBA. He has been posted to various locations across Canada including New Brunswick, Petawawa, Kingston, Toronto, London, Ontario and Trenton.
After 25 years of service, Tom retired from the Armed Forces in 2015. He completed a 4-year Bachelor of Technology Software Development degree and immediately began teaching at a Community College in Ontario until September 2021, when he was fired for questioning the legality of vaccine mandates, via a campus-wide email to the president and members of the college faculty.
Determined to stand for the rights and freedoms of all Canadians, Tom became a volunteer of the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy 2022. Trained in battle planning over many years, Tom’s tactical and strategic advice was instrumental to the safe and responsible achievement of Convoy objectives. His experience was integral to the coordination of truck movements and logistics, as well as negotiations with Police Liaison Teams from the city of Ottawa. A member of the leadership team, Tom acted as the main spokesperson, holding press conferences almost daily. The incredible success of the Convoy can be measured by the mandates removed in the province of Ontario.
No longer able to remain silent, Tom felt a deep sense of duty to serve as a conduit for people that believe in the integrity and ability to turn our political landscape around. To serve the people of Canada, Tom ran as an Ontario Party Candidate in the 2022 Ontario provincial election.
Witnessing Canadians losing their inalienable human rights is not something to ignore or abide by. Tom’s unwavering commitment to Canadians is the reason he’s writing a highly person and detailed account of his life experiences leading up to, during and in the after math of the Freedom Convoy.

Born in small town British Columbia, Sims has been employed (and taxed) since she was 12 years old, working in horse stables, fast food joints and gas stations before attending journalism school at BCIT.
She worked in radio on Vancouver Island before moving to Ottawa to work as a legislative assistant on Parliament Hill. She then joined News Talk Radio 580 CFRA as a producer, reporter and anchor, eventually becoming a journalist for the CTV Parliamentary Bureau.
Sims was a founding reporter for Sun News Network and proudly covered issues of big government, personal liberty and the rights of small town and rural Canadians until Sun News was shut down. She then worked as a director of communications on Parliament Hill, and as the senior producer for Evan Solomon at CFRA Radio.
With deep family roots in Alberta’s rodeo country, she is proud to fight for the rights of all taxpayers.
When she isn’t digging through expense reports, setting dumpsters on fire or doing media interviews, Sims can be found reading Ayn Rand on a riverbank with her husband and their two children.

He has written on a range of subjects at the front lines of the culture war inside the law, including human rights and freedoms, free speech, environmental governance, climate change, energy policy, professional and university governance, property and tort theory, free markets, and the rule of law. Dr. Laura Braden is a molecular biologist with a focus in immunology. Her passion for the last 15 years has been immunopathology, disease resistance and host-pathogen interactions using advances in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional immunology. With extensive experience in molecular research, Dr. Braden has traveled all over the world to present her work at scientific conferences. After two post doctoral fellowships in immunology, Dr. Braden was in the early stages of her career but was fired for asking questions about the COVID narrative and speaking out against the unconstitutional and unscientific basis of the draconian mandates in Canada. As a scientist and mother, Dr. Braden will continue to unapologetically fight for the truth and defend the unalienable freedoms of all Canadians.

He has a background in electrical engineering and was injured by the H1N1 vaccine in 2009 were he almost died twice from it, still injured and realized without professional data to display the under reporting the ones injured would fall through the faults in the system just like he did.

Brian Lee Crowley, one of Canada’s most original political thinkers, has produced a stunning road map for how we can steer Canada into a brighter political future. He claims that we can divide political culture into two categories: designers and gardeners. Designers believe that they have sufficient knowledge to impose their will on others, without any unintended consequences, while gardeners are more modest and are content to work with what already exists, especially where whatever already exists has virtues or beauties.
Crowley argues that we need fewer designers making top-down pronouncements, and more gardeners who are willing to work from the bottom up, cultivating instead of engineering. We should all aspire to be gardeners: planting, growing, appreciating the results, and building something that will thrive in the ideal political, social, and cultural soil.

Ray's political involvement began at an early age, when in the late 1950s he was a youth member of the Social Credit Party, begun by William Aberhart, continued by Ernest Manning and then Harry Strom, Ray's uncle. It was during this time that much of his conservative values were formed largely within family but also the larger community. This has shaped his views right up to the present, with memberships in the conservative movement (UCP) parties right up to the present.
Ray currently owns and operates a geological laboratory based in Calgary, but serves clients worldwide.
One interesting sidetone is that his innovative technical skills have led him to travel to interesting places, not the least of which are Jordan and Israel. Verifying obscure passages of the Bible, sometimes thought to be myths, has deepened his and other's faith. Expeditions to Grand Canyon and other sites in the U.S. Southwest have verified formerly questioned statements.
Ray has been an active part of the home education movement in Alberta and Canada. Active engagement with government in those early years of home education in the 1980s led to leadership in that movement, constant interaction with government, and now continues with his board position on the Home School Legal Defence Association Canada.
Ray's motto: "Follow your God-given passions and hang on for the ride of your life."
Raymond Strom was born in Southern Alberta, and grew up in the community of Burdett. This was and is a community of leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. Example, first pivot sprinkler in Canada. Ray was raised in a faith family in which at an early age, he personalized that faith that continues to this day.
Ray also grew up in a family steeped in political involvement. It is this compulsion to serve and contribute meaningfully to community and society that motivates and is Ray’s desire to run for the position of Vice-President – Policy and Governance.
Covid times has pressed our resources, both personal and collective, to the limits, and much of this has been brought on by straying from foundational principles. It should be noted that our UCP documents clearly lay out these basic principles and policies. We have diverged from those foundational values, and it is time to return to them.
Further, it is time to lay aside differences that threaten to separate our members, and unite as we move forward into what could possibly be our finest hour as a province. Our expertise, recognized on a global scale, and personally experienced by Ray as he worked in Africa, is well recognized, and follows the “Alberta Advantage”.
It is time to return to Faith, Family and Country, and out of that, see the prosperity of our province revived, as we move within those foundational principles.
Please vote for Raymond Strom – VP – Policy and Governance.

Alberta Proud is a grassroots advocacy group, fighting for every day, hardworking Albertans and our energy sector. We stand up to out-of-touch, elitist politicians and celebrities who get in the way of our prosperity with their anti-business, anti-resource ideologies.
We are proud of this province and the people who make it all happen. We believe Alberta has a distinct identity, based on our western roots and entrepreneurial spirit, and our job is to be the voice for the countless Albertans who want to protect and preserve our identity and way of life.
Through our powerful social network that reaches millions each week, we run campaigns that get Albertans riled up and grab the attention of those who make the decisions that impact our lives and livelihoods.
Recent campaigns include telling Ottawa to back down from trying to put surgeon general-style warning labels on our ground beef and pork; pushing for a better deal for Alberta and taking the stand that as long as Quebec blocks our pipelines and expropriates our companies, it’s time to turn off the trade taps; and telling the Trudeau government to back off our farmers with their ridiculous plans to reduce nitrogen emissions by 30% by 2030, equating to a fertilizer reduction for our ag sector that will result in a crop supply shortage and massive financial consequences for that sector.
We stand with our farmers/ranchers, our resource sector workers and all Albertans who love this province the way we do. Join us on all social media platforms, including our Facebook following of over 210,000 people who aren’t afraid to get loud about being Alberta Proud!
Lindsay Wilson
A journalist by trade, Lindsay is an award-winning reporter who spent a decade working in Alberta weekly newspapers before embracing her passion for politics and switching gears.
After spending two years on the Calgary mayoral campaign with Jeromy Farkas, Lindsay missed the more objective lens of journalism and has found a middle ground with her role as president and spokesperson of Alberta Proud, part of the Canada Strong & Proud network.
With one of the largest social media followings in the province, Alberta Proud is a grassroots advocacy group that stands up for everyday Albertans and supports ideals and political candidates who are pro-business and pro-resource. Her goal is to elevate Alberta Proud to doing more reporter-style videos that tell the incredible story of Albertans and the political landscape that impacts them.
She credits her passion for storytelling to her mentor, the late Alberta newspaper mogul Jack Tennant, and countless hours in coffee shops conducting interviews. Her love of politics began with her own late mother’s story as a refugee from communism in Eastern Europe in the 60s. Through her years in newspapers, Lindsay emceed and moderated political events and debates and covered all three levels of elections, as well as First Nations elections in Stoney Nakoda.
Growing up on a cattle ranch, Lindsay has also spent many years running a construction company and is a mother of three.
Lindsay is a graduate of the Mount Royal post-grad journalism program with an English/Communications undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary.

Each of the singles off of Dany’s debut album, Free Times, received radio play across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. His single Free Tonight earned him Top 20 honours on Cashbox Radio.
Dany was born to a middle-class Jewish family in Montreal and outside Toronto. His grandfather owned a record store and Dany’s childhood was mostly spent listening to old records and dreaming of making music. His main inspirations were the bands and singer-songwriters of the 1960s and 70s.
He joined the school choir as a way to impress girls. Though it did not work very well, he learned a lot about performing. Dany picked up the guitar at 14 and started writing songs at 16. At 17, he enrolled in McGill University as an English Literature major, hoping to follow in the footsteps of his hero Leonard Cohen. He released his first studio album in 202, a collection of personal favourites.
Dany’s music is infused with modern takes on familiar sounds: melodic guitar and piano chords, popping bass licks, and toe-tapping percussion. His lyrics are stories of love, loss and life, drawing inspiration from ancient poets, modern philosophers, and personal experiences. But don’t be mistaken, his music is neither academic nor pedantic: first and foremost, Dany writes songs to be enjoyed. He hopes you enjoy them too.

The price paid for her advocacy and organizing with various freedom movements has been heavy but she is committed to her resolve. Which is to ensure that this never happens again for ourselves or our future generations.

After graduating the Depot training Academy in Regina, Saskatchewan, Daniel was posted to Whitehorse, Yukon (M Division). Daniel spent four years working on Whitehorse Detachment and was transferred to Mayo Detachment in December 2010. Daniel spent two and a half more years as a General Duty Police Officer in the community of Mayo before transferring to Ottawa.
In July 2013, Daniel was transferred to the RCMP National Division Emergency Response Team in Ottawa, Ontario. During his time on the National Division ERT, Daniel’s primary role was sniper / observer, with the majority of his time spent supporting the protection of the Prime Minister and other internationally protected persons.
Daniel officially resigned from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on December 15th, 2021 after speaking out, on behalf of Mounties 4 Freedom, against mandated COVID-19 injections. Dr. McCullough:
Dr. McCullough is an internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist who has been a leader in the medical response to COVID-19. In August of 2020 he published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection” in the American Journal of Medicine. This paper presented the first synthesis of sequenced multidrug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with the virus, and was subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed papers on the infection, and has commented extensively on the medical response in The Hill, America Out Loud, ABC, Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, Victory Channel, and a multitude of independent media outlets. He has testified on several occasions in the U.S. Senate and before several State Senate and Congressional Committees.
John Leake:
John Leake studied history and philosophy with Sir Roger Scruton at Boston University. He then went to Vienna, Austria on a graduate school scholarship and ended up living in the city for over a decade, working as a freelance writer and translator. His first book, Entering Hades: The Double Life of a Serial Killer (Sarah Crichton Books, FSG) was a New York Times Sunday Book Review “Editors’ Choice,” a Men’s Vogue “Best Book of 2007,” and the inspiration of The Infernal Comedy, starring John Malkovich.
When SARS-CoV-2 arrived, he perceived that the official policy response was illogical at best, and possibly criminal. He found it especially suspicious how quickly public health officials dismissed repurposed early treatments such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. In November of 2020, he watched a video of Dr. McCullough’s US Senate testimony about early treatment. He sensed from this performance that Dr. McCullough was likely to lead the way in developing a more rational and humane response to the crisis.

John Fallon spent two years learning the technical aspects of filmmaking, and another three years perfecting his craft as an actor through a professional theater program (from which he graduated with honors). His feature length directorial debut "The Shelter" starring Michael Pare from his own screenplay was recently released in theaters, VOD and now on DVD to critical acclaim. The LA Times called it "remarkably ambitious" while Ain't it Cool News said "The Shelter is resonant in tone and spot on in execution!"
As a director, John also directed the music video for the hit song "Gasolina" by Daddy Yankee and the award-winning short film "The Red Hours". He has a series of films at varied levels of development, including the action film EVA, the barbarian adventure film "The Prize" and the bleak period drama "Heretic", having to do with two Templars going through hell after the second Crusade. Many of his screenplays other were produced into films in the past including "Deaden", "Trance" and "American Muscle". John Fallon has also acted in such films as "Saw II", "100 Feet" opposite Famke Janssen, the French hit "Dead Shadows" and the action film "American Muscle".
Finally, since the year 2000, John has been at the helm of one of the most successful horror movie websites in the world called Arrow in the Head, part of the JoBlo Movie Network, which led him to being a member of the Jury at the Sitges Film Festival, the Fantastic Fest Film Festival among many others.

Alicia Erickson was crowned Miss Rodeo Canada 2020 at the Canadian Finals Rodeo on November 1st, 2019. She will continue on in 2021 as the first ever Miss Rodeo Canada to serve a two year rein.
The 25 year-old from Trochu, Alberta has graduated College with her Justice Studies Diploma, specializing in Youth, and will continue her education to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
Seeing the influence of growth, knowledge, and positivity she could impart in youth, truly set her on the path of becoming a professional in the field.
Alicia has an ultimate goal of developing specific mental health and relations programs, to implement in grade school settings.
Her passion for educating youth has always been apparent through many hours of volunteer work that led to being a horse-back riding instructor, skating coach, and youth programming facilitator.
Alicia finds so much joy in music, and has been honoured to sing the Canadian National Anthem on horse-back at various rodeos across Canada and the United States of America. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the guitar, barrel racing, and helping out on the ranch.
The authentic cowboy lifestyle, and the influencers within it, are what shaped Erickson to be the person she is today. For that, not only does she truly value western heritage and rodeo, but wants to continue to pass down the traditional traits of integrity, hard work, and dedication.
While she didn’t inherit this lifestyle, Alicia chose to live by it and will continue to do so by being a contributing member to the western way of life.

Reg Porter is an Islander who has devoted a significant part of his life to the study and preservation of Prince Edward Island heritage, especially its architecture. His childhood was spent in Tignish with his grandparents, where he received his early education. He then attended high school in Montreal and began his university studies with the Jesuits at Loyola College. He continued his education at Mount Allison University where he took degrees in Classical Civilisation and Education.
He became Librarian and Director of the Resource Centre at Tantramar Regional High School in Sackville New Brunswick for eight years. During that time he introduced and taught the equivalent of a first-year university course in the History of Art. In 1979 he was invited by Mount Allison University to become Research Associate at the Centre for Canadian Studies, and Lecturer in Education, teaching courses in Social Studies Methodology and Audio-Visual Theory and Practice. He also began research projects in local historical topography.
He returned to PEI in 1982 and until 1988 worked at the Heritage Foundation (now the PEI Museum) as Curator of Exhibits and Public Programmes. In 1989 he became self-employed as a Heritage Consultant and spent the next ten years working in museum planning, archaeological survey, and historic building restoration. From 1987-97, he was also a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Prince Edward Island, teaching courses in Art History.
In 2000, in poor health, he retired to Belle River where he lives, with his cats, in a late Victorian farmhouse, which was restored and filled with the happy and inspiring accumulations of a lifetime. He planned and constructed an enclosed formal garden – a hortus conclusus – whose geometry comforts him. In the past twenty years he has enjoyed going out to give public lectures and trying to complete several manuscript projects on Island Heritage. For a number of years, he wrote about a dozen articles for RED Magazine and produced substantial manuscripts about various aspects of Island architecture. His most recent project – which he hopes will bring him to the limits of his life – is a heritage blog where he recreates the major lectures, he gave during the past fifty years. He believes that the ultimate sweetness of living is sharing one’s passions with others.

Rylan Whalen was born in Burlington Ontario, January 9th 1995. In his early years, Whalen was clearly disenchanted with the music his peers were embracing. Therefore, he took it upon himself to dive deep into the sounds that truly moved his soul. His thirst for music landed him exploring a vast variety of those before him, from the 60s and 70s, classical and soul. Whether in his parent’s record collection or the infinite library of the internet. By the end of high school, he had a need to absorb every documentary regarding these mythical records, and bands he could find. Being captivated by the words of groups far his senior, the young writer developed a style of his own. Paying tribute to those he was moulded by, yet always concocting his own original, modern and honest sound. Searching for truth, yearning for the divine, otherworldly energy music can give back. Whalen left his family, friends and country to join Danny down south. Allowing for vast expansion within their musical skills, influences and counterparts. Such a risky and courageous choice allowed the then boys, to embark on a journey of ridiculous proportions. Defining their friendship, sound and journey. Finding himself back home, nearly 5 years later, it can be very well said that this man breathes melody. His lyricism and stylistic approaches to his singing is on full display. He continues searching for a way to put life into words, and further connect with all and everyone around him.

Keith Matthew is a member of the Simpcw First Nation and is a former chief of the Simpcw First Nation. He served for five years as chief and five years as Councilor up until December 2010. As a Councilor and Chief with his community he was responsible for economic development and was instrumental developing a business relationship with Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing and helped negotiate ownership in a $7 million heli-skiing lodge. He was the chief negotiator with Kinder Morgan Canada and Canadian Hydro Developers and delivered impact benefit agreements to his community with those companies. He also led discussions on a forest and range agreement that provides fibre and
resources for the Simpcw First Nation and its legal entities. More importantly these agreements have provided employment and training opportunities in major projects that the community members wouldn’t normally have an opportunity to compete for and work with companies that were formerly beyond their capacity.
As chief he also was responsible for negotiations but also oversaw the successful delivery of the impact benefit agreements referendum and benefits to his community. In order to take advantage of the opportunities there was also the creation of Simpcw Resources Group Ltd. and the creation of Simpcw Heritage Trust to manage own source revenues into the future for the upcoming generations of Simpcw youth and their grandchildren. This legal instrument will allow the building of wealth for the children of our community well into the future.
The vision to create opportunities for Simpcw First Nation was understanding the Haida and Taku River Supreme Court of Canada decisions on the duty to consult First Nations communities. Shuswap Nation Tribal Council was instrumental in helping draft consultation and accommodation policies with the assistance of the West Coast Environmental Law. The building block for this was started with a consultation and accommodation framework that was passed by a majority of the Simpcw membership in a community referendum. Additional pieces to this policy framework were later developed with a map of the traditional territory and a heritage and culture policy addendum.
Currently Mr. Matthew is serving on the following committees as volunteer:
Nations; * President of Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers; * Director of the Simpcw Health Board * President for the National Aboriginal Energy and Power Association; * Director for the Tulo Centre of Indigenous Economics, Thompson Rivers University.
He has his own company Seklep Business Services and works with First Nations’ communities to negotiate agreements with companies that require certainty of tenure from major projects on unceded traditional territory. As well he has two joint venture companies and is a principal with both Skeetch Arrowhead Contracting Ltd. and Skowtum Services Ltd. He is also one of the principals of Dynamic Microgrids and looks forward to helping First Nations communities develop their own renewable sources of energy and being partners with Canada in reducing greenhouse gases.
He was awarded his Certified Aboriginal Economic Developer certification by the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers at a ceremony in Winnipeg at their annual general meeting in 2013. He also successfully completed BCIT’s Associate Certificate, Venture Program, in 2012.

Founding members Danny Lopez and Rylan Whalen originally met their first year of high school. In the predictable suburbs of Burlington, Ontario is where they swiftly began a musical relationship. Harm & Ease was officially formed in 2010 as an acoustic project. Allowing them to explore a more melodic vibe, not present in the metal scene currently enveloping the area. Eventually fate would find Lopez, along with his family, being uprooted with little warning. Finding themselves in Buenos Aires, Argentina. However this wasn’t enough to separate the songwriting duo. Dedication, sacrifice and a hell of alot of plane rides kept the artistic pair inseparable. In fact, it propelled them into their next stage.
Danny Lopez was born in Cali Colombia, September 19th, 1995. Unlike so many musicians, whose high school years are spent enthralling themselves in the on and off of attempted bands. Lopez and Whalen took too each other young and fast. Harm & Ease being their adolescent project, it was obvious Lopez had found his counterpart. He knew what he wanted since day one of starting the group, and has dedicated his time and craft to creating and performing exciting and innovative music. Adoring sound from a young age, its no surprise he’s found himself defying odds. Effortlessly following the footsteps of titans before him. Embodying strength, its this drive that pushes the band forward, surpassing any obstacle. Playing both lead guitarist and manager, friend and brother has allowed this small duo from Burlington, Ontario to be so much more. For such a young man, he has lived quite a life. Existing and creating in several countries around the world, with a guitar and a truckload of songs as his tools of choice. With his distinctive glasses, hat and dreadlocks, he’s not hard to spot and is always willing to say hello.

David Tordjman, devoted husband and father of 5, grew up in Cote Saint-Luc where he still resides with his family. He is a civil engineer by trade, and business owner working for various First Nation governments in Canada but is also involved in numerous community organizations and initiatives.
As a city Councilor in Cote Saint-Luc he is dedicated to his constituents and making positive changes within his community and city. He prides himself on being honest, hardworking and dedicated to the population in which he serves.
This sentiment was first cemented while serving his country in the Canadian Armed Forces in his early twenties. David was always interested in giving back to the country and community that he loved, a noble desire he acquired from his father, who proudly served the Israeli Government. Giving back has always been part of his DNA.
In 2010, he embarked on a journey to aid the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake shook their already impoverished nation. Working for the United Nations, he diligently and tirelessly strived to better the lives of all those afflicted by this horrific natural disaster, by managing a project responsible for getting its citizens back into their homes once deemed safe. He subsequently won a United Nations “Project of the year” award for his efforts.
He has served on multiple school and community committees and organizations, implementing change and improvement wherever possible.
He is a strong advocate for doing the “right” thing, even if challenging, and for speaking his mind even when opposed. He will be an honourable, honest and forth-coming Mayor for Cote Saint-Luc as a representative of the residents, moving Cote Saint-Luc forward.

Jonathan was born, raised, and educated in Central Alberta. After university graduation, I tried my hand at post graduate studies in International Law at the University of Nottingham, however, it turned out I had neither the temperament nor drive to finish that degree (in hindsight, it’s a minor miracle that I completed any post secondary education).
Having always been interested in entrepreneurial endeavours, I started a home building company in 2006 in Lacombe, Alberta, which I still run to this day. In 2017, I ran and was elected to municipal council in Lacombe, and plan to run again in the 2021 municipal elections.
I am married to a wonderful woman who’s been my partner for ten years, we share a young daughter who constantly reminds us who’s really in charge.
I am a deeply heterodox in my outlook on life. I am addicted to all conversations existential. My atheism seems always seems to get tangled with my affinity for spirituality – my feelings about which I can never quite distinguish between sympathy and scepticism.
My heroes are Christopher Hitchens, Bill Gates, Brett Weinstein, and Tony Stark.
