Let's Talk About is a podcast by Chanolde Munroe, that highlights social and regular everyday issues. I am a young social activist and I have thoughts on many issues and find that a social media post doesn't cover enough ground. Yesterday for the first time three international aircraft landed on the island, something that could not have been done before the opening of the Argyle International Airport. Instead of celebrating this accomplishment, the negative comments and ridiculous statements that followed were disheartening. It got me thinking about the recurring theme of some Vincentians who seem to only be interested in our country falling. So let's talk about it.
With all the hooplah and issues surrounding the vaccine and COVID-19, here are some thoughts that I have. We need to be practical in our thinking and remember that people are watching and follow what we say.
I speak about things in the Caribbean that we need to unlearn. Many Caribbean families are rooted in such toxic thinking and behaviors, we need to unlearn so many things in order to move forward in society.
I speak about how I came into my own and finding my purpose after a two year depression. I hope you this can help anyone who is stuck or feel like they are not fulfilling their purpose.
I have an open and honest conversation about how politics is ruining the country that I love.
I have been gone for a while, but I'm back. I'm about to get all up in my business to talk about everything.
I sit down with Dexter Walter a musician and student in Taiwan to talk about our experience since moving here. We are both from the Caribbean and have somewhat similae culture and upbringing.
