Jenna does a deep dive into the Eastern Colorado Health Care Systems Dietetic Internship that is a rather new and exciting program! It is based in Aurora, Colorado and has the flexibility of offering a standalone 10-month track and an 18-month combined MS/DI track offered through U Alabama (incredibly affordable). This week we sat down with a wonderful Veterans Affairs dietetic internship program located in San Diego. Unlike many dietetic internships, the VASDHS Dietetic Internship charges no application fees and no tuition. Instead, like most VA-sponsored dietetic internships, they provide a generous stipend. The stipend for 2023-2024 is over $24,000 for the 41 week (1640 hour) program.
