In Game 81, the 2017-18 New Jersey Devils clinched their first trip to the playoffs in 6 years with a 2-1 defeat of the Toronto Maple Leafs. We'll examine the game and the entire season as we celebrate the greatest moment in the Shero/Hynes Era of Jersey's team.
Just over an hour after the New Jersey Devils fell to the Minnesota Wild, GM Ray Shero pulled the trigger on a trade for Michael Grabner of the New York Rangers. The Devils sent a 2nd round pick and Yegor Rykov across the River.
