Dungeons and Dudes: Recent Episodes

LETS GOOOOOO!

This is a Dungeons and Dragons play-through podcast run by a group of great friends. It's nerdy, it's fun, and we're having the time of our lives playing this game. If you have even half as much fun listening as we are playing, then you're gonna have a great time.

Due to a combination of technical difficulties and life being absolutely crazy sometimes, we were delayed from our normal release schedule, and we apologize for that! However, we should be back on track now, bringing you all the latest and greatest that the Shadowlander's have been up to. Thank's for tuning in to this weeks episode of Dungeons and Dudes.

In this episode the party attempts to deal with the gnolls that fill the Cackling Chasm.

DISCLAIMER: Due to covid related issues, the group played a session remotely over discord that would have been the true episode 8. Unfortunately we encountered lots of technological hurtles while trying to record that session, resulting in us losing the audio for 5/6th of the table, ultimately preventing us from releasing that recording. During the lost episode, the party traveled from Caer Konig to Easthaven, and then overland to the Cackling Chasm in search of a group of gnolls. The Shadowlanders encountered several dangerous monsters along the way, including their first encounter with the now infamous Cold Light Walker. The session concluded with the party being only a few hours away from their destination of the Cackling Chasm, which is where this episode picks up.

Hello everyone! This episode serves as an introduction to the cast and campaign setting, as well as a narrated overview of the first session of our campaign. The decision to turn our D and D game into a podcast was not made until after playing our first session, so instead of uploading an absolutely terrible sounding voice memo, we opted to highlight the important moments of session 1 in a fireside chat with our loving Dungeon Master, Master of Some.
