- Taking up one's cross signifies a willingness to endure hardship and persecution for the sake of Christ. It is a call to embrace the challenges and sacrifices inherent in living a life devoted to Jesus
We are eternal beings with an eternal purpose! Those who win souls are wise and shine like bright like the stars for eternity!
✅ Wisdom is Winning!
Dan. 12:3, ‘Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.’ NLT
- We can only take souls to heaven!
✅ Ignoring the Calling…
John 4: 27 & 35, ‘Just then His disciples came, and they were surprised to find Him talking with a woman. However, no one said, “What are You asking about?” or, “Why are You talking to her?”……35 Do you not say, ‘It is still four months until the harvest comes?’ Look, I say to you, raise your eyes and look at the fields and see, they are white for harvest.’ AMP
- Ignore = refuse to take notice of or acknowledge; disregard intentionally.
✅ Life’s Responsibilities and Demands
John 4: 35,-36, ‘34 My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work..… 35 You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. 36 The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!’ NLT
- We will experience God’s supernatural provision when we focus on the lost in our world!
🙌There is great power in your testimony, so much so that it creates an opportunity for people to be saved!
✅ How to practically Witness?
“6 God sent a man, John the Baptist, 7 to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.” (John 1:6-7)) [NLT]
✅ Your testimony!
“But by the [remarkable] grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not without effect.” (1 Cor. 15: 10) [AMP]
✅ Through believing we are saved!
“8 For salvation that comes from trusting Christ—which is what we preach—is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths. 9 For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation.” (Rom. 10:8-10) [TLB]
Is God still in the lead in every area of your life? Well here are some tips allow the Holy Spirit his rightful place:
✅ Cultivate a life of devotion
Matt. 6:6, ‘But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.’ NLT
✅ Submit your soul to God
Matt. 16: 24-25, ‘24 Then Jesus said to his followers, “If any of you want to be my follower, you must stop thinking about yourself and what you want. You must be willing to carry the cross that is given to you for following me. 25 Any of you who try to save the life you have will lose it. But you who give up your life for me will find true life.’ (ERV)
✅ Involve God in Everything
Prov. 3: 6, ‘In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].’ (AMP)
✅ Does the Holy Spirit lead me?
Gal. 5: 22-23, ‘22But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! NLT
Now is the time for the church to Arise and Awake! 🙌
There are 4 ways in which we must respond to end time events:
✅Welcome and Expect The Second Coming
Rev. 22: 17, ‘The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life…..20 Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!’ NLT
✅Urgency To Get People Saved
2 Pet. 3:9-12, ‘9 The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief…….11 Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, 12 looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. NLT
✅Appreciation And Love For The Church
Heb. 10:25, ‘And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.’ NLT
