My guest, Joanne Butcher has worked in the film industry for 20 plus years, worked with hundreds of producers, writers and directors. Whilst directing a first run cinema and film school in Miami Beach, Florida, she developed a feature film competition that led to film makers competing for a $200,000 prize. She, like many young mums found it difficult to return to work or education. She began to question her legal rights and the rights of other teenage parents who were in a similar position to herself.
