What if your brain already holds everything you need to heal? In this eye-opening and powerful conversation, I sit down with the remarkable Dr. Yvonne Oswald, international keynote speaker, Master Trainer of NLP and Hypnosis, and the author of Every Word Has Power - translated into 11 languages - to learn how NLP and hypnosis can help us clear negative emotions at their root and clear them in minutes, not years.âąď¸
The secret to her global impact? Dr. Yvonneâs approach to healing has been called revolutionary, refreshingly practical, and astonishingly fast. She doesnât teach people how to cope with emotions. She teaches them how to clear emotions permanently.
Drawing from her latest book No More Therapists: Your Brain Has the Answer - Clear Negative Emotions in Minutes Not Years, Dr. Yvonne walks us through her 9 Rapid Release Codes⢠- precise neurological techniques designed to return you to calm, clear thinking fast. I actually tried one live during this episode, and it genuinely works! We also unravel the power of Mind Magic â her award-winning technique for clearing negative emotions and the limiting beliefs we all have that shape our daily lives and quietly form before weâre 7 years old.đś
As a bereaved mom since 2005, this conversation touched me in ways I didn't expect. And as a bereaved mom herself â having lost her only child and daughter needlessly at just 22-years old, Dr. Yvonne speaks from a place of profound personal understanding. In fact, it was that catastrophic loss that compelled her to write this book and bring her revolutionary work to as many people as possible.
Together in this episode we explore - and demonstrate - how these techniques work in real time. And while Dr. Yvonne is clear that negative emotions will always show up (they make up 80% of our thoughts, 90% of our day), we absolutely can reduce how frequently they appear, how hard they hit, and how long they linger.
đď¸ Key points discussed:
⢠What the 9 Rapid Release Codes⢠are and how they work neurologically
⢠How Mind Magic⢠clears limiting beliefs formed before age 7
⢠Why 80% of our thoughts are negative â and what to do about it
⢠Live demo: trying a Rapid Release Code in real time
⢠Dr. Yvonne's personal grief journey and how it shaped her work
⢠The difference between coping with emotions vs. clearing them permanently
đ§ If you're on a healing journey â whether through grief, trauma, or simply wanting more peace and joy in your life â this episode is for you. Watch or listen now for personal growth insights, grief support, and practical healing tools unlike anything I've shared before on this podcast. This is one conversation that could genuinely change how you see yourself and your capacity to heal.đ
⨠Don't miss the resources Dr. Yvonne shares throughout our conversation from her 9 Rapid Release Codes⢠to upcoming classes and private sessions.

đ In the United States alone, nearly 62,000 children and adolescents lose a sibling every year. Yet sibling grief remains one of the most overlooked and unacknowledged forms of loss, despite being one of our most significant and enduring relationships. Too often, the grief of a bereaved sibling is overshadowed by the attention given to parents and spouses, leaving siblings feeling invisible in their pain. In this episode, my guest Maribeth Swan and I open up a conversation that is real, raw, and long overdue.
Maribeth knows grief from the inside out. In 2000, she lost her younger brother to suicide at the age of 25 â a fraternal twin to her surviving brother, and a loss that cracked her world open and led her toward a deeper connection with death and loved ones beyond the veil.đď¸ A debilitating accident in 2018 further changed her path and drew her into the healing world of flower essences.đ¸ Today, as a Flower Essence Practitioner and Intuitive Counselor, Maribeth is dedicated to helping others navigate loss and develop a more reverent relationship with Nature, bringing them closer to their own true Essence and healing.
In this episode, we get real about sibling grief and the silence that can be just as painful as the loss itself. Topics include:
â˘Why sibling grief is one of the most overlooked and unacknowledged forms of loss
â˘The unique and lifelong bond between siblings and why its loss hits differently
â˘How loss reshapes family dynamics and the challenges that follow
â˘Afterlife communication, signs from loved ones, and the comfort of mediumship
â˘The role of spiritual practices and nature in finding peace and healing
â˘Why talking openly about death and grief matters more than most of us realize
â˘How Flower Essences can support emotional healing during grief
â˘The importance of community and support in navigating the long road through loss
Based in Massachusetts, Maribeth alchemizes her own essences, writes a monthly New Moon newsletter đ, composes music on her dulcimer, and is endlessly passionate about the wisdom of plants.
Whether you are a bereaved sibling yourself or someone who loves one, this conversation is for you. Sibling grief deserves to be seen, heard, and honoured and that starts with breaking the silence together. đ¨âđŠâđ§âđŚ

What does grief look like when it doesn't fit the mold? When the casseroles stop arriving? When the world expects you to move on and youâre not ready?
In this heartfelt episode, author and poet Jackie L. Disch shares the story behind her memoir Losing Katy, guiding us through the deeply personal and non-linear journey of losing her wife Katy, to sudden strokes during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jackie's story also offers a perspective into is something so many of us carry quietly: when we don't see ourselves reflected in the mainstream conversation around loss.
From honouring Katyâs end-of-life wishes to finding unexpected comfort in life's smallest moments, Jackie's experience invites us to rethink the way we understand and support everyone in their grief. In our conversation, we explore the healing power of writing, the signs of connection that transcend loss, and why open conversations about death may be one of the greatest gifts we can give to the people we love.
Whether you've lost a same-sex partner, a non-traditional relationship, or simply feel like your grief has been minimized or misunderstood this conversation is for you.

What happens when your consciousness leaves your body and everything you thought you were dissolves?
In this profound episode, Allura Halliwell, creator of The Consciousness Method⢠transformational guide and author, shares her life-altering awakening experience that began during a meditation in 2018 - felt like a quantum leap in consciousness that led to a complete unravelling of her identity. What followed was a three-year integration process that challenged everything she knew about reality, Self, and transformed her into a voice of consciousness. Today, Allura helps countless others tap into the portal of awakeningthrough The Consciousness Method⢠and chart their own journey from wounded to wholeness on the path home to Source.
In this episode, we explore the deeper meaning of awakening and how pain is not something to escape, but a portal to Source. Through her work, The Consciousness Methodâ˘, Allura teaches that healing isnât about fixing behavior, but about embodying your pain to liberate trapped consciousness that keeps us stuck and unhealed. We dive into self-responsibility, rewiring relationships, and the radical transformation that occurs when you stop resisting your pain and embrace it as your pathway home.
If youâre ready to stop searching and start remembering who you are, join us. Let this be a start to your return to Source.đ¤đżâ¨

What if success isnât the problem but the way youâve been taught to chase it is?
In this episode, I sit down with Randy Lyman, physicist, entrepreneur, emotional intelligence expert and author, who shares how he reached high levels of success but still wasn't happy. This conversation flips the script on what abundance really means and why external wins donât always translate into internal peace and contentment.
Hereâs the shift: if you want a life that actually feels good, it has to start from within. In our discussion, Randy invites you to suspend your doubt by looking at the Law of Attraction differently. Itâs not just about positive thinking. It actually responds to how you feel. When your emotions are unhealed, you will keep attracting the same patterns. But when you start doing the inner work, things will begin to change in a real, grounded way.
Put simply: Randy says your thoughts and actions wonât create lasting change. But feeling differently will! Your emotions are the driving force behind what you attract. So, if life isnât shifting for you, itâs not about trying harder, but about healing deeper.
Drawing from his book The Third Element, Randy explains how the inner child holds onto unresolved pain that shapes your emotional patterns, reactions, and results. When you start healing that, everything changes. And this is where the the Law of Attraction stops feeling like a concept and starts responding to your positive energy in a magical way, helping you create the abundance and happiness you want that actually will last!
Stop chasing success that looks good and start creating a life that actually feels good. This episode will challenge everything youâve been taught about achievement, happiness, and the Law of Attraction. If youâre ready to break the cycle and experience real, lasting change from within.

In this frank and poignant conversation, I sit down with psychotherapist and author Sally McQuillen, who shares the deeply personal journey behind her debut memoir Reaching for Beautiful, A Memoir of Loving and Losing a Wild Child written in honour of her 21-year-old son Christopher, who tragically died in a boating accident in January 2016. With me (Vonne) now 20 years into my grief as a bereaved mom and Sally 9 ½ years into her journey, together we explore the long road of healing after child loss in this heartfelt discussion to inspire and help parents who have lost a child or are parenting âin fearâ.
Sally discusses the emotional toll of parenting a child with addiction, the deep fear that often accompanies such parenting, and how her faith became a guiding light through unimaginable loss. The conversation highlights the importance of forgiveness, letting go of guilt, and the role of spiritual practices in helping anyone bereaved find meaning and peace in their loss.
Together, we unpack the layered impact of grief on surviving children, the crucial role of self-care, and how different types of loss - such as suicide, sudden or expected death can shape our bereavement experience. We open up about our spiritual connections with our children, and the comfort weâve found through mediumship and faith, and the enduring power of love and gratitude as essential to both of our healing processes.
This episode is a powerful reminder that while grief may never fully go away, we can still find purpose, connection, and joy on the other side of deep sorrow if we allow ourselves to find all that we can in our loss experience.
As Christopher often said to his mom and I would suggest now imparts this as a major life lesson for us all:
âLife is honestly so beautiful, as long as you allow it to be.â

In Episode Five âSick of the BS? How to Take Back Control of Your Life â Right Now!â I dive into what it really means to feel stuck in a rut and how to reclaim your power starting today. Iâll share some of the common emotional signs indicating that you may be stuck - feelings like chronic frustration, stagnation, impatience, and regret - and how mindset is everything when it comes to making genuine lasting change.
Knowing the difference between settling and compromising is crucial to making decisions that support your personal growth ⨠and align with the life you truly want. Which has left many people feeling disillusioned when their goals donât manifest and they donât know why!
To help you move forward with clarity and purpose, I offer three essential action steps to help you:
Reset your thoughts and bring the focus back to genuine gratitude and self-awareness as the real catalysts for meaningful change.
Give you the tools to immediately start taking responsibility for your life.
Guide you through signs and action steps to become the best manager and guardian of your life - starting today!

Welcome back to Lost in the Noise! In Ep. 4, I want to share more of myself with youâwhy I started this series and what I bring to the table to help you carve out a clearer path to truly knowing yourself and owning your power!đ
Self-discovery is a journey.đ¤ď¸ I know how overwhelming it can feel to navigate who you are while balancing expectations placed on you by family, friends, work, society and even yourself! Itâs easy to lose sight of who you are and what you really want when you're constantly prioritizing others and havenât made time for self-care.đą
I was like that too. Losing my daughter, Janaya, to suicide in 2005 changed everything. It pushed me to find deeper meaning for my life and inspired my purpose work that I continue to this day.đЎ
In this episode, I share with you the story behind why I started the Lost in the Noise series and the 3 greatest gifts we can give ourselves for powerful transformation. I also delve into why self-exploration, finding meaning for your life and living with authenticity matters in a rapidly ever-changing world. What makes us tick? Why we want what we want? Questions that are worth askingâespecially in a world that often tells us who we should be before we even get a chance to decide this for ourselves.đ
I know what it is to lose sight of oneself, the weight of grief and searching for meaning, which creates a lot of stress and anxiety. But I also know thereâs a way through.⥠Which is exactly what the Lost in the Noise series is all about! Whether youâre just starting your journey or deep into your self-explorationđŞ, Iâm here to help you live your life with more clarity and confidence from the wisdom Iâve gained through lived experience and the tools I use in my own healing and transformation.đđĄđŚ

In this deeply moving episode in Part 11 of the Soul Sisters series, I sit down with my soul and real-life sister, Brenda Rachel, to share our powerful journeys from suffering to healing, and the joy we have now reclaimed.
This episode is for those who take a keen interest in finding ways to navigate past or current hardships, are eager to explore healing strategies and gain spiritual insights for optimal personal growth.
We explore the profound challenges of bereavement and chronic illness, focusing on my personal journey of choosing healing over suffering after the devastating loss of my daughter to suicide in 2005, and I share the pivotal moment early in my grief when I decided not to live in perpetual suffering.
Brenda opens up about her decades-long battle with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and emotional hardship, including a prognosis at age 42 that would confine her to a wheelchair and end the active and fulfilling life she was then enjoying. Her story of overcoming adversity and embracing joyful living, despite ongoing challenges, is deeply inspiring.
Together, we also discuss the crucial role of a spiritual practice and community support in staying committed to healing and crafting a life filled with peace, joy, purpose and contentment.

Finally, Iâve got a doctor in the house! Get ready for this frank yet refreshing discussion I enjoyed with Dr. Natasha Trujillo about many of the tough and unspoken truths about grief that Iâve been waiting to explore with the right psychologist on my podcast!
In this educational episode, learn from Dr.Trujillo as she delves into the profound complexities of grief and loss, exploring how multiple lossesâboth death-related and other types of loss - are a universal part of our human experience and should not be ignored! With a unique blend of academic insight, and personal and professional wisdom, she shares how embracing our vulnerability can foster deeper connections with others and contribute to a more healed and meaningful life.
In her new book And She Was Never the Same Again, Dr. Trujillo rejects the pathologization and over-medication of grief and challenges the more conventional notions we have about loss and grief, advocating for a natural and personalized approach that while deeply personal, is universal to us all.
Her approach to therapy based on lived experience and rigorous study, offers her patients and in this episode, my audience, a unique and transformative perspective on understanding and navigating grief to help us heal from both generational trauma and personal grief experiences to help us live to a more meaningful and holistically healed life.

In this powerful episode of Divine Healing coaching, I share the key insights from Principle Four of my book "Divine Healing, Transforming Pain into Personal Powerâ that were channelled to me by the angels and my daughter from the other side over a 5-year period, and as I wrote this book.
This fourth principle âHeal Your Heart to Heal the Mindâ forms part of the self-help healing practice offered in Part Two of Divine Healing. Without doubt, their messages and this practice have contributed the most to the powerful healing I have experienced as a bereaved mom since 2005.
In this short tutorial, discover how by understanding suffering as an illusion and through an expanded consciousness, you can unlock wisdom and harness personal power to create vibrant health and the life you can envision throughout your ongoing holistic transformation.

Imagine finding yourself happily marooned on an island and no one knows where you are. Do you know what's happening with all of your stuff? Do you know the value of your estate? Have you planned for the transference of your wealth and identified who will receive what? Do you know the legacy you want to leave behind and why?
Two-thirds of people in North America do not have an estate plan. Less than 50% of people have a will. In this episode, Adam Zuckerman, an Eisenhower Fellow, Attorney, MBA, and the founder of Buried in Work, is revolutionizing the way people think about estate planning and has simplified the process through numerous, even fun (yes, fun!) resources available on his website, buriedinwork.com.
With deeply personal motivation stemming from his experience managing his father's estate, Adam is dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to the resources they need to secure their legacy and protect their loved ones through the act of organization.
In this episode, Adam provides tips for people of all ages on how to reimagine their legacy. He helps you understand the wealth that comprises your estate, no matter how little you may think you have. Most importantly, he'll show you how to get excited about starting the process of planning the transference of your assets with confidence and ease, and communicating your intentions to your loved ones about the legacy you wish to leave behind.

The journey of grief, loss, and personal growth is deeply individual and often marked by profound experiences. Ashmeeta's story is a poignant example, having lost both her parents and unexpectedly in 2019, her husband at a young age.
As an expat living in the USA, she understands how grief can create additional stressors around cultural identity and isolation, adding layers of complexity to the healing process.
Yet with an abundance of resilience and raw vulnerability, Ashmeeta shares how she learned to embrace her most difficult losses (her mother and husband) and offers a masterclass to help anyone discover their own resilience and find hope in this two-part interview series.
While much of the discussion focuses on spousal loss, all of what we talk about offers a powerful and impactful discourse to help anyone navigate their grief journey from any form of loss, which is always filled with sorrow and change and embrace their new reality.
In the second part, we delve into the concept of fear, discovering ways to reframe it positively. We also discuss preparing for the unexpected, the importance of self-talk and self-love, the healing aspects of forgiveness and gratitude, and how mindfulness and self-reflection can guide you towards progress during times of grief.

In Part 1, we explore the complexities of grief and emotional triggers, and how by understanding your thought process, you can develop greater self-awareness to help you adjust to your new reality.
Note: Part 2 drops May 15th, 2024!

In this Divine Healing Coaching episode, learn all about the first of the 5 Divine Healing principles that were channelled to me by the angels, and my daughter Janaya, after her suicide in 2005 and over a five-year period, as I wrote my first book âDivine Healing Transforming Pain into Personal Powerâ.
The first principle speaks to the importance of honouring the sacredness of your life as you learn more and more how to accept responsibility for all of your life experiences. Both good and bad.
Part of my mission on this planet is to help change the consciousness of those who are suffering or have suffered and want to find a meaningful, purpose-driven life. And just as I had to rethink all of my spiritual beliefs after the loss of Janaya that I had believed in for 23 years at the time of her passing, many people feel they must question their faith and beliefs after loss, tragedy or difficult adversity.
Nineteen years later, I still stand by these 5 principles that are designed to help anyone find a meaningful and purpose-driven life, based on the tools, practices and messaging contained within each one, as those that have guided me to the healing and perfection Iâve found in my life to this point. All of which by practicing them in your own life, you can, too.

You'll hear about our real life experiences of angels presenting as humans and in other forms, and how you can easily work with the angels to experience their magic and miracles every single day! This is a fun conversation with a dose of seriousness in all the right places for those who believe in or are curious to learn more about angels.

My guest on this episode is Stephen Panus. With his 30-year career as a sports marketing executive, publicist, sports agent and attorney representing elite athletes and others, the death of his 16-year-old son Jake, who was tragically killed as a passenger in a reckless car crash in the summer of 2020, led Stephenâs life to implode.
Seeking to both survive and move forward, he wrote his about to be released book âWalk Onâ to confront his daily agony, inspire a renewed and resilient faith in living and regain his purpose.
As a guidebook for others, Stephen shares the messages of "Walk On" to inspire not only bereaved parents, but to help anyone get through tough adversity with hope, resilience and a renewed faith in life.
Stephen and his wife, Kellie, live in Connecticut with their son, Liam, foster daughter, April, and their two dogs.

Events that challenged the will of both sisters to live.
In Part 1, we share how the church influenced our lives, and how our introduction to spirituality guided us to withstand the tragedy and disabilities that we would ultimately triumph over, to celebrate and honour our lives today with joy, peace and love in our hearts.

My guest on this episode is author and award-winning artist, Marie Antoinette Kelley. Her recently published childrenâs book, âDannyâs Day in Heavenâ with the afterword by Dannion Brinkley, author of "Saved by the Light", is the first children's book of its kind. It teaches parents how to start the conversation with their children about death and the afterlife and that it is not something to fear. But rather that our loved ones are never gone, as evidenced by both science and the messages and teachings of people who have experienced near death and share what the afterlife is like.
"Danny's Day in Heaven" is both written and illustrated by Marie Antoinette, who has commissioned hundreds of portraits, as well as the art for the Angel Quest Oracle. She has appeared on multiple TV, radio, and podcast shows, and been published in magazines, including Edge and Authority. In 2019, Marie Antoinette's bison portrait in the form of woven blankets began selling throughout Yellowstone National Parkâs general stores.
Please join us in this compelling conversation that inspires all of us to reconsider death, the afterlife and the ways in which we can connect more deeply to Spirit and our loved ones on the other side.

If you are a suicide loss survivor or know someone who is, this episode offers a candid and informative discussion on all things suicide with my guest, Caro Brookings. After losing her mom to suicide in 2013 when Caro was just a young university student, Caro struggled with complex grief and guilt.
She quickly realized there wasn't enough support for suicide loss survivors which led Caro to discover the work she does today as a Certified NeuroCoach and Grief Coach.
In her coaching, Caro helps her clients find inner peace and joy after suicide loss, using the same brain based and science-backed methods that she used to recover from and heal after her own devastating loss.

This is a frank discussion between two bereaved moms about what it's like to live with long-term grief after losing a child. Maria experienced what was sometimes a harrowing journey caring for her son who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 16 and died 11 years later. She is a wealth of knowledge, not only from the aspect of caregiving in general and what that does to you, but in the caregiving of a terminally ill child and the impact that type of child loss has had on her.
From questioning what was wrong with her, to friends leaving her behind and the expectations family and society has on bereaved parents, Maria is unapologetic in claiming her right to be a grieving mom and through this, how she found herself a voice for change personally and in the public arena.
Now as a Certified Grief Educator and speaker, you are guaranteed to learn a lot from Maria in this conversation if you are going through, have gone through or want to support a loved one or friend through this type of loss experience.

Many of us are struggling today with stress and anxiety amidst personal problems, losses and tragedies. Whether we seek treatment or even get a diagnosis for what is troubling us remains questionable. I lived with PTSD for nearly ten years before being diagnosed.
Not understanding what is wrong with us when we are suffering from a mental condition, disorder or limitations can and does wreak havoc on our lives and the lives or our loved ones.
Meet my guest Rosalyn Hui Zhang. Rosalyn is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Grief Recovery Specialist and Author. In this episode, Rosalyn shares her story of a diagnosis of schizophrenia that begins in China. She shares what it was like to live believing she was schizophrenic, and ultimately, how she found holistic healing from what she now believes was a misdiagnosis. I am grateful to Rosalyn for telling her story because I learned a lot about a subject that remains taboo to talk about. I hope you will too.

Learn how to Chakradance with Lauren Gayl! Though learning about chakras is nothing new for many, understanding the 7 major chakras in the context of playing small in life will inform and empower you as you come to understand your own imbalances and decide whether you've been playing small or not.
Certified to teach Chakradance by Natalie Southgate, the founder, Lauren's virtual 9-week course starts June 2nd (she'll be with you throughout). Her app Dance Celebrate Heal is available on Apple and Google where you can get the details to register or visit her website (link below).
I had so much fun speaking with Lauren. I love all strong women who inspire and have a strong desire to help others. Lauren is a gem! And though her niche is women playing small, this episode does not exclude anyone who wants to find more balance in their life by finding out the root cause of their imbalance.

Welcome to the first episode of my Divine Healing coaching series. With my interest in metaphysics, a spiritual practice for over 40 years, my work as an Angel Healing Practitioner since 2006 and lived experience, I take you where it all begins. Choosing our parents!
I am very open about how I credit the Divine with saving my life after my daughter Janaya died by suicide in 2005. I've never looked back. All of what I teach in the Divine Healing coaching series is based on information channeled to me by the angels, and my daughter on the other side, immediately following her suicide in 2005.
They can be found in my first book "Divine Healing: Transforming Pain Into Personal Power" first published in 2011 and that remain the foundation of all my work today.
You don't have to believe. Not yet! Just have fun painting the picture that is your life as you consider all that you have experienced and with whom as you unravel the pieces of the unseen that offer you the most powerful and lasting healing from whatever you have gone through or are experiencing today.

Enjoy this enlightening conversation with bereaved dad, Joe McQuillen. Joe shares his spiritual transformation and the healing journey he began from the lessons he's learned regularly communicating with his beloved son Chris, who transitioned in January 2016.
While Joe is quite active sharing his experiences with Chris, I have been quieter about my own communication with my daughter, Janaya, on the other side. Just like Chris has been with his dad from Joe's early time of bereavement, Janaya has been communicating with me from her very first hours after transitioning in July 2005.
It was an absolute treat for me to share this time with Joe to talk about our experiences communicating with our children on the other side. We discuss what the After Life is like from our kids' perspective, the joys that this type of communication brings to us and how you can communicate with your child or other loved one on the other side if you long for this type of connection.

In this episode, my guest Linda Lang, Master Healer, Transformational Guide and Mentor, shares her journey of reliance, faith and the life purpose she found by choosing to find her own cure for an aggressive and rare form of cancer she was diagnosed with at just age twenty-two.
It was the early 80's. Linda was newly married and had just had a baby. The only medical option was to amputate her leg or risk certain death. Neither option that she wanted. This compelled Linda to go on a journey that would ultimately transform her life from cancer to cure through the power she held within. Listen to her story.

Having struggled for years after the suicide of my daughter to rebuild my life without adequate resources to guide me through tough bereavement, I ultimately created an online course and a unique grief coaching program to help anyone struggling in grief or with anything else to recover and rebuild their life in a gentle, yet effective practice.
These Podcast coaching episodes are designed to introduce you to some of the key components to help you start to improve your life immediately and are based entirely on my lived experience since 2005 and professional experience as a healing practitioner.
In this episode from Lesson 9 of the Get Me Started! online course in the Beyond Bereavement series, learn all about ambition and whether you need it to succeed at anything in life, and what you can do if you can't feel any ambition today.

Every parent is terrified of losing their child. And when you do, it's a secretive world. In this episode, learn what it's like to experience child loss and live as a bereaved parent today, where more support is needed through compassion and awareness. The same as it was when I became a bereaved mom in 2005.
This is a candid and poignant conversation with bereaved mom Susan Sackel, who shares her experience losing her 6-year-old son Logan in February 2021 to accidental death, and a warning to other parents about the perils of blind cords for children of older ages.
Susan has been courageous enough to talk openly about her experience of child loss and bereavement, to provide awareness and education for others in support of all bereaved parents, and as part of her advocacy for safety of children of all ages related to accidental death from blind cords. She also shares what motivates her to keep going and how she is finding healing through the choices she makes every single day.

Are you digging around in the sand to find your castle? Or do you already trust yourself enough to take you where you want to go?
When you know what you want you can take yourself there. All change happens just by starting to think about how you want your life to look and feel as you imagine the kind of environments that you want to be in. What you want to study. The career you want to pursue. The promotion you want to go after. The type of friendships that you prefer. The loving relationships that you want and deserve. Whether or not to have kids. Where you want to live.
You make choices all the time related these bigger life changes and throughout every single day as part of the minutia of daily living. But how much do you trust yourself enough to make the choices and changes that you really want?
Being super in tune with who you are and what you want at every moment of the day is one of the most authentic things you can do for yourself.
