Hi there! I am Ethan Dea. In the fall of 2021, after almost two years of isolation and remote learning due to the pandemic, I returned to high school in my junior year. I was excited to make it a great semester after losing so much time. However, I struggled through AP Physics for the first six weeks, I felt alone, lost, and powerless. It was by talking to my friends, family, and counselors that I made the uneasy decision to change to regular Physics. After the switch, I fell in love with what I learned and have been maintaining an A since then. I could not have done so if it was not with the help of others. That sparked an idea in my mind: to create a podcast by talking to other people in my life and sharing their stories, so that I help others, especially other middle school and high school students, so that they realize they are not alone, and that We’ll Be Okay!
I'm finally getting back to running. And this night's fun inspired me to write this episode.

Today’s featured guest is Nikki Sun. She is my mom’s good friend and someone I respect. Originally from China, Nikki came to the United States as a college graduate to pursue a higher degree. She is now the Vice President of Development for one of the world’s biggest interior design companies. She shares her experience of adapting and overcoming a new language, culture, and a completely different environment. Nikki has worked in different fields and excelled in each and every one, leading her to take on bigger responsibilities in the business world. While being a mother of two, a head of her company, and constantly traveling, Nikki balances her work, life and social circle to not only maintain but thrive in the many hats she wears.
