Practical demonstrations of dream interpretation given by a four-member dream group in India that has been together for many years. We show how to interpret dreams, using the same method mother nature uses in giving us our dreams: wider than the world, as flexible as a snake, as irrational as the path of the wind, as unorthodox as God on Earth, and as natural as the soul of things. This episode was recorded on February 10, 2023. Nithish begins with two dreams that seem to tell him to buy things at specific shops in town, a special pen in one, a new computer monitor in the other, but in neither case did it work out because the dreams were not literal, and I talk about the representative nature of dreams. Mithun is unable to put on his underwear in a dream because they are now too small, and we interpret that. He also relates a vision he had of being a tree, a banyan tree. Douglas relates a dream where President Joe Biden brushes up against him, and he interprets that to a waking life event where his boss, whom he's very close to, actually talks to Joe Biden and is invited to the White House. Then he shares two visions he had that he interprets as having to do with recently starting a pranayama practice (breathing exercises), one vision coming right after asking the Mother if the practice would be helpful or harmful.
This episode was recorded February 3, 2023. Nithish begins with a dream where he meets himself 20 years in the future, and he's able to talk to his future self and change our destiny by going back in the recent past to avoid disaster and to change my personal destiny by going into the future and preventing my death by motorcycle accident. His future self then tells him time-related things about Supermind, which Nithish will experience as an adult he's told. Nithish and I give different interpretations for his dream, and I believe we are both right. You may want to shoot me when I give my interpretation of his dream.
Mithun relates a dream where he's Spiderman in a large city, and he's trying to prevent an auto-taxi from crashing. He does many heroic deeds for the city, and they honor him by all the citizens standing in the street and holding in their hands large flames. My interpretation of his dream is simply wrong, but Mithun is able to show what the dream relates to in his present life.
Douglas has a dream where he's watching as an observer, and Skeletor has taken over the world, but only the ground part of it, as He-Man is in his sky castle not too bothered by what's going on down below, and he's able to interpret the dream in relation to an upsurge in anxiety he had during the day that affected his body and his emotions, but not his mental self. He discusses how dreams use characters from contemporary media, especially heroes, as a mythos our dream maker draws from to give us symbols and meaning in dreams.
Finally I share a dream where a giant starfish has taken control of a large city but is not killing people, only taking over people's mind, not everyone, just people the monster is selecting, but everyone in the city if affected and in danger of being taken over and controlled. As I watch Nithish get ready to battle the thing, he just about to get caught in its tractor beam, I become lucid and just drop the dream scenario and began calling Lisa Rottweiler so to rescue her on the other side. It takes three successive lucid dreams before she comes, and it's at a bus stop where the four of us, The Dream Company, are gathered together. We really pet our dog.
We wrap up the episode with a discussion of how being lucid in a dream depends a lot on how much life force you have, Douglas saying that's the reason many times you just wake up in bed without any warning.
This episode was recorded on January 25, 2023. Nithish begins with a Santa Clause dream, him being given a gift and Santa's powers and Santa giving me a gift. At the time he had his dream, I had two dreams that relate Nithish's dream in different symbols, that of Santa giving me a gift. His dream and mine happened some weeks before the actual events took place in waking life, one scene in a dream of mine almost identical to a scene that actually occurs in outer life. They are clear examples of the future foretold in dream, and we discuss how dream does that. I need to say here what I don't mention in the episode, which is that the gift Santa gives Nithish is also the one I'm given, since he also went through a major life change in moving in with us full time when we moved here to the lake.
I relate a lucid ream that shows the divine inner symbols of trying to save a dog I found lying and dying on the side of the road soon after moving into our new location, a dream that I had the night after the incident, and you will see the divine mother concerned with that dog, and it's not its life the Mother is saving but its dying, so that becomes a victory for the dog and not the horrible ordeal it appears to be for the dog in outer reality.
Douglas relates dreams of a sexual nature that have no obvious correlation to waking life--he's not entertaining fantasies. They have to do with what I call the Earth charge, as we had just moved out into the country, at first on vacation, and he was for a week or so free to roam the woods and fields, swim in the pond, and nap at his leisure, not having to sit in front of a computer screen several hours a day, and so he got charged with the Earth currents.
Mithun relates a dream experience where he's being prepared to go out the top of his head and have what's called an overhead experience. A flapping sound starts near the base of his spine and goes up to the top chakra, but it's not as simple as that, and he's told by the inner voice repeatedly that he's to aspire for his self, meaning his true self, Supermind. I explain what an overhead experience is and what it does for us, talking at the same time of a supramental experience, what that is in the terms of our yoga.
We will not entertain you if you are looking for that, although we are not dry stiffs in our delivery. This is spiritual practice on a university level, where all involved have opened the inner consciousness to a degree necessary for spiritual experience to occur, even the small child, which is much greater than most systems and spiritual teachers would admit. Here, you hear the preparation for actual spiritual experience, which in itself is probably more than you have bargained for if you are in the market for that.
This episode was recorded December 18, 2022, four days from Nithish's 11th birthday. It features his opening to the muse, to hearing lines of inner poetry, and we talk about the inner connection of our dream group/sadhana circle and the future meaning of such groups when Mithun relates a vision he had of an incident in a past life where he acquired bad karma, and he had the vision at the same time Nithish was hearing a line of muse about karma in another location. I relate yet another lucid dream where I'm trying to rescue my dead dog Lisa on the other side, and how the Mother does not help when I call on her, and I lament the fact that the divine is not always there for us when we think it should be, and I relate dreams after the failed rescue attempt where I'm told why it failed, one in which the Mother herself appears, but I cannot recall much from those dreams, and I lament also the fact that we can only remember a small portion of the guidance we get in the inner consciousness, and Douglas relates a dream that shows that incapacity on our part very clearly, and we speculate that such might be in the design and might not be an actual incapacity.
First, Donny shares a dream where he’s in a factory run by a Mexican cartel and another long involved dream he feels related to two videos he recently made and posted on Nithish’s Youtube Channel. Then, Mithun shares a dream about a psychopath who wanted him to kill an old man. After that, Douglas has a dream where he was having lots of problems trying to board an airplane flight and another dream where the Dinobots couldn’t defeat a giant Decepticon. Lastly, Nithish shares a dream where he fights another version or clone of himself.
Nithish begins with a dream where he was hit so hard in the stomach he woke up and sat up in bed. Then, Donny received a device like a nutcracker from a shaman like character that was to help with interpreting dreams. Next, Douglas shares a dream about his friend Dakshina who recently died. Lastly, Mithun shares a dream where Sadhguru was anally raping Sri Aurobindo which leads to some interesting discussion.
Nithish begins the episode with a dream where he forges Thor’s hammer from the energy from two stars. Then he shares a second dream where he ignored the urge to meditate in a lucid dream, because he was afraid of being harassed by evil nuns. After that, Douglas shares a dream where he went to a pizzeria with Donald Trump and played a game of pool. Next, Donny recounts a dream that he feels shows how Nithish comes across in a video he made and posted on Nithish’s Youtube Channel. Lastly, Midhun shares a dream where he encountered a giant eye.

Nithish starts us off with a dream where he got to eat his favorite foods and another dream where a bedsheet turned to gold. Then Douglas shares a dream of his horse getting away from him. Next, Mithun goes to visit a guru who teaches him about life force and cryptocurrency. Afterwards, in Donny’s dream he feels he got a sign to start practicing pranayama. Lastly Donny points out how dreams sometimes show what actually is going on with us in our beds while we’re having them.
Douglas begins this episode with two dreams that gave him some insight into the chronic back pain he suffers from. Then in his dream, Midhun is given a sword to help him cut through a jungle. Lastly, after giving some background, Donny shares a dream about the Pleiades that was complimented by a startling synchronicity.
Donny starts off this episode with a further explanation of Supermind. Then, Douglas’ shares two dream’s featuring characters from Star Wars. After that Nithish relates a dream of a museum dedicated to him. After that, Donny offers a new interpretation to Mithun’s dream from the last podcast. Next, Mithun has a dream where he and his sister were confronted by goblins who trapped him in a television screen. Lastly, Donny shares a dream where he felt intense love and union with the Divine.
We start off the episode by trying to clarify what we mean by the terms ‘supramental’ and ‘supermind’, which come up frequently in the podcast and is the ultimate goal of Sri Aurobindo’s yoga. Then, we talk about the role of dreams in our lives and how we use the system of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother to interpret dreams.
After that we get into sharing dreams, and Douglas starts with a dream where he ate magic mushrooms and actually experienced a change in consciousness in the dream. Then, Douglas shares a second dream where pro golfer Zach Johnson almost holes a great shot to the green and he relates that to how he negotiated the previous day. Next, Donny shares a lucid dream that shows unconscious love he feels for his adopted son. Then it’s Nithish’s turn and he relates how he saw a ghost or ‘bad spirit’ at his school while he was awake and afterwards, shares a dream about our cat Jacki. Lastly, Mithun shares a lucid dream that seems to be urging him to stay on the path of celibacy.
Then, before we sign off, we discuss the different sources of dream content and that they come from something much more conscious than our waking selves.
Nithish starts us off with a lucid dream where he was granted superpowers by our teacher the Mother to fight enemies at the local market. Then he discusses how the next day he felt the presence of a dead woman at her funeral and it seemed to him like a superpower. Then Douglas’ shares a dream he had years ago in Bolivia with Sri Aurobindo and an amazing synchronicity that happened around the same time. Lastly, Donny shares a dream where he was part of the Mother’s entourage where they went down some stairs. He then relates that to his following day and what in our yoga is called the ‘Physical Consciousness’.
Douglas begins this episode with two dream fragments that relate to recent trip we took to nearby Auroville. Then, Donny talks a bit about our approach to dream interpretation before he recounts a dream that focuses on his relationship with God. Next, Mithun relates a dream about the death of his mother (his mother is still alive) to the loss of a music file he was working on. Lastly, Douglas revisits his dream and says a few words about how marijuana is a universal symbol in dreams for heightened awareness.
First, Nithish had a dream that symbolically showed aggression displayed by our Rottweiler Luna in waking life. Then, Lydia shares a dream about the status of Sophie, a Shih Tzu that was given to her to take care of nurse back to health before the owner reclaimed the dog. After that Douglas recounts a dream where a friend of his appeared as a ‘personal’ symbol representing equanimity. Next, Donny presents a dream that he feels showed some viewers reactions to a recent video he made and posted on Nithish’s Youtube channel.
Donny starts things off with a vision that gave us the name and opening song of our podcast. Then, in Nithish’s dream our Rottweiler Luna makes a request. Next, Midhun shares a dream of contact with our deceased Rottweiler Lisa. Lastly, Douglas recounts a dream that helped him fend off sexual desire the following day. This last dream is discussed in detail to try and get a handle on all the different symbols it contains.
Midhun starts us off with a dream that got him to stop smoking. Then, Nithish had a dream where he had contact again with our deceased Rottweiler Lisa. Next, guest host Lidya relates a dream about a room in the hotel where she works where a woman committed suicide. After that, Douglas shares a dream about his high school friend Chuck who had tragically died in a in a recent motorcycle accident. Then Donny finishes the episode off by sharing an old lucid dream where he helped his childhood cat on the other side and a recent lucid dream where he tried to give the same help to our Rottweiler Lisa. Throughout the episode we discuss the theme of contact with the dead in dreams and participating in their after death process.
Nithish tells two dreams from the same night with people trying kidnap him, and we discuss what it means to be kidnapped in a dream. Then, Midhun and Donny both share prevision dreams that related to a conflict they had the following day. Lastly, Douglas has a dream where he was bitten on the hand by a insect/serpent like creature which was also prevision about a conflict between he and Donny that happened the day after the dream. Afterwards, we discuss what it means to be bitten on the hand in a dream (which is a universal symbol) as well as how many dreams represent our inner psychological state in regard to an outer event that happens either the day before or the day after the dream.
In our inaugural episode, we discuss the issue of hostile or demonic powers. First, Mithun shares a dream showing the workings of the hostile powers acting both on the world at large and on our house. It also, however, shows the element of help and protection. Nithish then shares a lucid dream where he also had a small brush with the hostile powers and contact with our deceased Rottweiler Lisa. Next, Donny relates a decades old lucid dream where he encountered hostile forces (or weirdlings as they called themselves) face to face and also talks about the state commonly known as sleep paralysis and why it’s actually a positive and not a negative thing.
