2022 was a difficult year for a lot of people. A lot of people experienced loss, trauma and a lot of negative situations. As we start the new year, it’s a great opportunity to start again. It may be the best move you ever make, particularly when you know in your heart you're on the wrong track. Because let's be honest, continuing with the same thing, for the sake of comfort or fear of change will further compound on your move in the wrong direction.

In awareness of the 16 days of action against domestic violence 2022, which span across the world for16 daysfrom 25th November to 10th December, with a theme identified each day to explore the various forms of domestic violence we thought we would join the movement and on the dangers of being in abusive relationships.

In the last two decades there has been a change in gender roles, with an increased focus on education, and financial freedom especially for women. It's now more common than ever for a couple to live together and even have children and start families without marrying, with more and more people marrying late - and what we’re now seeing is a rise of our generation who got married young are now getting divorced.

According to the Office for National Statistics, 93% of adults in Great Britain have reported an increase in their cost of living between August-September 2022. Low-income households are spending a larger proportion than average on energy and food and are said to be more affected by price increases. So, we ask, has the cost of living changed you or are you still spending at the same rate as before?

On the 5th September Chris kaba was fatally shot by armed police whilst traveling in a car in south London. He was 24 years old and was due to become a father. An investigation went under way, which was later confirmed as a homicide investigation.

In recent news Sir Mo Farah was the talk of the town when he revealed that he was in fact trafficked into the UK under a false name. But, despite his admission his citizenship was not compromised nor was his status.
