Mykelti, a licensed social worker in family care, will describe four "Attachment Styles" that define our sub-conscience parenting techniques, along with ways to overcome the negative affects they may have in both our parenting and personal relationships.
Mykelti Blum is a licensed social worker who has worked in the foster care/adoption field for over 5 years.
She's worked directly with families in their preparation, training, and the ups and downs of fostering and adoption. Her insights will help the growing number of single mamas who are considering, or are already involved in, becoming a foster parent.
Struggling with fear?. With so many unknowns happening today, I wanted to give some words of encouragement to mamas who may be struggling with fear on several levels. Since God doesn't want us to live a fear-filled life, I've listed several scriptures on "Fear Not", controlling our thoughts, and God's peace.
PART THREE: Lois & Jennie conclude this series with suggestions on healthy ways for single mamas to communicate with a difficult ex, and how to honestly, yet kindly discuss difficult issues your children may face on visitations, and boundaries they can setup for themselves.
