In week 9 the episode begins with a mini 2 on 1 with Bennett and Noah, after chatting with both parties, Tayshia regrettably sends Bennett home. At the Rose Ceremony Demar, Spencer, and Ed get send home. This week decides who gets the hometown dates, Ben gets the one on one, a cute scavenger hunt. In week 8 of Tayshia's season of the Bachelorette, JoJo makes an appearance, temporality taking over as the host. Zac and Tayshia have a mock wedding shoot that gets slightly emotional. In the group date, the men express themselves in art. Eazy has a 1 on 1 date with Tayshia, dabbling in the art of ghost hunting, but Eazy gets sent home. Tayshia is suspicious of Bennett and Noah's drama and the show ends on there two on one cocktail party.

Both Ben and Ed have the idea to visit Tayshia in the night, but Ed takes a wrong turn and enjoys a romantic evening with Chris. Lastly, Noah tells Tayshia that the guys are questioning her rose-giving skills, Tayshia cancels the cocktail party, and everyone still dislikes Noah.

In week 5 Tayshai takes over as Bachelorette and meets guys, to everyone's surprise, a group of 4 new guys makes an appearance. The New guy Spencer gets the first impression rose, and the men don't like that. Spencer gets an elbow to the face during a casual game of splash ball. We don't get to see what happens during a mysterious bbq. Tayshia goes on a 1 on 1 with Brendan and it seems to go well.

In week 4 of the 2020 Bachelorette Clare Crawley calls off the rose ceremony goes on a date with Dale, gets serenaded by the winners of "Listen to your heart" Bri Stauss and Chris Watson. She then has an overnight, but the guys don't think she would do such things. Clare decides that she has found her love, and breaks up with the guys who may or may not want an apology.
Chris Harrison mentions the proposal, asks Neil Lane for a ring, and almost forgets to tell Dale that he should propose tonight or something. Chris tells the men that the journey is not over, which makes them extra happy, and with like two minutes to spare it ends with us meeting Tayshia Adams the new Bachelorette.
