The Campus Fellowship Podcast features speakers and sermons from our local campus ministries and regional conferences. Campus Fellowship is for Christ, for His Church, for Campus, and for Culture. We exist to equip local churches in a common mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ on college campuses who worship God and change the world.
Trey Newman dives into what it means when the Bible says that God is good. This is part of a Des Moines CF 2024 summer series called Attributes of God.
God made a promise to Abraham, he reiterated that promise to Isaac and Jacob. “Once I realized that Christ was my personal Savior, everything started to change.” Ben shares how he went from a YOLO, live your life and Jesus is on the side to wholly surrendering his life to Christ and fully understanding what it is to be a Christian. A big part of how Christ got his attention was through a faithful friend.
“The Lord has just been drawing me over a long few years to come to know Him” Luke shares how he grew up with a knowledge of God but his life did not reflect the facts that he knew in his head. Fun fact, one of the first messages that stuck for Luke was a message about Ehud from the book of Judges.
Sam from Drake University shares his passionate opinions on whether water is wet and also how the Lord faithfully pursued him throughout high school and into college. Stick around to the end if you want to know what Sam recommends reading?
“The word came alive to me and it was like ‘wow!’ no longer feeling like I needed to achieve something” Jessi sat down with us to share how the Lord brought her to faith and the encouraging things she’s seen in her campus group and what the Lord has taught her through community this year.
Peter followed Christ, in fact Christ was the one who gave him his new name “Peter” but he failed. He denied Christ three times. Jesus knows it, sees it and moves towards Peter much like He moves towards you.

On the road to Damascus, Saul, a man who loved God, realized he did not know God and that he was persecuting and opposing God’s church. This humbling moment turned Saul into Paul. Just as God pursued Saul, He continues to pursue others.
Jon Hastings, Campus Director at KSU, gave this message at Fall Conference 2023. The theme that year was Face to Face.
Fall Conference is hosted by Campus Fellowship every year toward the beginning of the school year.
You could say she was the outcast of the outcasts, coming to draw water at the well. Jesus did not turn away but rather revealed Himself to her, showing His heart for this woman and those like her.

This message was given by Toby Doffing, Campus Director at ISU CF, at Fall Conference 2023. Fall Conference is hosted by Campus Fellowship every year toward the beginning of the school year.
Nicodemus was close to the knowledge of God. He was a Pharisee, one who knew and memorized scriptures. He was looked up to in his community as one who knew all the answers to spiritual things. However he still sought out Jesus who was not afraid or intimidated to teach Jesus the truth.

Jacob Bennett is the director of Campus Fellowship the non-profit and has led specific campus ministry in the past.
There are different kinds of love. The Bible says that God loves His own with the love of a Father. Pastor Jon Hastings explains that love through John 1:12-13 and how this special love and given identity create a foundation for God’s children to find true freedom and live out of.

Pastor Dan Rude walks through the creation of Adam and Eve, the fall of Adam and Eve, the clothing of Adam and Eve and how Adam points forward to Christ!
Dan is a pastor at Walnut Creek Church Downtown. Dan enjoys serving his family and the church, reading the Bible, sharing the gospel, and hanging out with his family and friends. The idea that we represent Christ to this world is a truth that helped Dan make sense of the Bible and the commands of God. After understanding God’s love for him, and that he can join the creator of all things in doing something that counts for eternity, his life has never been the same. Dan and his wife, Meg, have been happily married since 2007. The Lord has blessed them with five children: Quinn, Rex, Myla, Titan, and Jett.
Genesis 22. Abraham and Isaac. That story is more than just a story about sacrifice, it really is a story celebrating faith. Pastor Tom Brown sheds light on the story of Abraham and Isaac in the context of God’s storyline and how it points to Christ and what a life of faith truly looks like.
Pastor Tom Brown is the founding pastor of Vintage Faith Church in Wichita. He dedicated his life to following Jesus while studying Philosophy at Colorado State University. Tom and his wife, Mandy, have worked together for 18 years in the exhilarating work of creating new churches and new humans. Before moving to Wichita, he was a pastor at Vintage Faith Church in Manhattan, Kansas.

Jon Schreiner serves as a pastor at Walnut Creek Church South. He began attending Walnut Creek Church in 2002 as a freshman at Drake University. He came to know Christ as his savior that same year through Campus Fellowship at Drake and upon graduation went on staff to help start the Grand View Campus Fellowship. Jon served for several years as the College Ministries Director for Drake and Grand View before becoming a pastor in 2013. Jon and his wife, Jenny, have six children: Owen, Eden, Ada, Henry, Ashlee, and David.
