The heart of the Father is compassion. Scripture says He forgives our sins (Psalm 103), heals our diseases (Luke 10:9), redeems our life from the pit (2 Corinthians 4:17) and satisfies our desires with good things (Psalm 23:6).

This week, we kick off our new series by exploring the power of sharing our stories of God's goodness in bringing hope to hopeless situations.
Join us as we discuss what it truly means to be a light to the world just how God intended.
Dwight L. Moody said, "We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we weon't need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining - they just shine".
In the same way, when we are saved by grace, we must walk in compassion by recognizing the need and responding accordingly.
Join us this week as we talk about it!
Jeremiah 17:7 says, "But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence".

The purpose of Jesus' coming was to bless us with a life that is not just about survival, but is abundant and fulfilling. We are meant to live out of this abundance. We are thrilled to launch our new series, Overflow, and we can't wait for you to be a part of it.
In this series, we have covered many things that, as believers, we do not need to be fearful of: intimacy with God, the future, the thoughts of others, and the spirit realm.
Is it possible for us as believers to face even death and not be afraid?
Yes!
In this last installment of our series, we are going to look at two things that we need to know when we face death.
Join us today as we conquer the fear of death.
Sometimes we forget we are in a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rules and authorities of the unseen world...".
To engage and defeat this spiritual enemy, we must know our adversary and his schemes. However, it doesn't stop there: we must also know our authority in Jesus Christ!
The fear of man sabotages what God wants to do in your life. Proverbs 29:25 says, "The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe".
The good news is God has a plan for your life and you don't have to worry about what tomorrow will look like. When we are led by the Spirit, we have nothing to fear.
Join us as we discover how to break free from the fear of man!
In John 16:33, Jesus says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
The truth is, when you give your heart to Christ, He won't make your troubles go away. Instead, Christ helps us deal with them and their associated fears.
Fear is something that is powerful, sometimes irrational, and totally unique.
This is why God spoke directly to us - to give us victory over our fears. He tells us in Isaiah, "Fear not, for i am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand'.
Even with this assurance from God, we still struggle with our intimacy with Him.
Listen today as we discuss how to build an intimate relationship with the Father.
The Kingdom of God is for all! So often we believe that we are most holy when no one is around - it is far easier to be patient, kind, and joyful alone.
However, Scott Hubbard says, "True holiness may begin between God and the soul, but it finds full expression in community with other people".
Listen this week as we discover how to be more like Jesus and make room for people who are different from ourselves.
1 Corinthians 12:12 says, "The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body So it is with the body of Christ".
We have been working through our series, Gifted, in which we discovered how God has uniquely gifted you. Today, we talk about your place in it all!
The Church was designed to function in supernatural ways. This week, we explore the manifestation gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We are in the final week of our sermon series: Gifted. This week, we talk about the last three spiritual gifts - Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher.
If you haven't done so already, take the five fold ministry test and email your results to us at info@tccde.com.
During this series, Gifted, we have been looking at the blueprint for how the church is built and how it is supposed to function.
In today's message, we look at the prophetic gift and its role in reconciliation to God.
When we look at the early church, we see clearly the function of all of the gifts together. Today, we look at the Apostolic gift and its function in today's church.
If you haven't taken the spiritual gift test, please do so and email your results to info@tccde.com.
Last week, we learned about three kinds of gifts: ministry, manifestation, and motivational.
Today, we expand on our discussion by talking about becoming the gift to the world we were always meant to be.
Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world - like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No on elights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your Heavenly Father".
We are all gifted to do something! God has given us all unique gifts and looks to us to use them. You are important in the church - let's talk about how we can work together best.
All of us have been given gifts but we can choose to use these gifts for ourselves or to serve God and bring others along with us into the Kingdom. Someday, we will have to give an account for what God has given us.
What are you doing with the gifts you have been given?
Listen today as we hear how to use our gifts faithfully.
This week, Pastor Trish Gunn shares valuable insights on how to run the race with endurance, discipline, and peace. She emphasizes the importance of removing any hindrances that may come in the way as we pursue God.
Did you know that your life is meant to be a journey full of adventure? Those who met Jesus experienced a complete transformation. He offers an adventure of a lifetime, and the best part is that you don't have to go on it alone. You have a guide - the Holy Spirit.
We rely on the gift of the Holy Spirit to lead us on new adventures! But before we jump into a life with Christ, we must first count the cost.
Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
Following Christ will require sacrifice, but the good news is Jesus is not looking to trade with you, he is looking to bless you.
What has Jesus asked you to surrender?
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart' do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you what path to take".
Our mindset determines the direction of our life. To get the most out of this life, we should adopt a "Need to Know" mindset, an "Above the Line" mindset, a trusting mindset, and a patient mindset. We should be prepared to wait for God's guidance when things don't move as fast or in the way we desire.
What do we do about things that we don't fully understand? One of the big question marks in our faiths is GRACE! What truly is grace? How does God display it and how can we operate through grace?
In today's message, we hear how to live out our faith in view of others, revealing God's grace.
"...and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus". Romans 3:24 NIV
Our church provides a Fall Family day for the community. They provided rides, corn maze, games, lunch, prizes, candy, and more. In order to bless in love, we charged nothing for the community. We made it clear that it was free. A new attendee was skeptical and told the Pastor he was waiting for the bait and switch. He found none. Everything was, indeed, free so he offered to make a donation to the church. Some people will not accept Jesus’ selfless sacrifice and grace on their behalf. Although it sounds humble to say “I can’t accept God’s gift,” we should remember it wasn’t “free.” It cost Him His Son. But when we admit we need a Savior and redemption, we can be assured the price was fully paid.
“But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD and HAUGHTY, BUT [continually] GIVES [the gift of] GRACE TO THE HUMBLE [who turn away from self-righteousness].” - James 4:6 Amplified Bible
I like how the Amplified brings out the richness of this passage, but notice how the Holy Spirit is the source for how grace provides us the power to overcome sin and live a life of obedience.
When you think you can overcome sin and live a life of obedience without grace, notice two things here:
God opposes you (why?)
Because he sees it as being proud and haughty.
So turn away from self-righteousness, humble yourself, and watch how God’s gift of grace will supernaturally enable you to break sins' power and live a life that’s pleasing to Him!
Listen to this week's message as we learn how to receive the grace God offers us.
We know the heart of God is to go and make disciples. In today's message, we hear how we can practically walk this out in our daily lives and how to prepare to preach the good news of Jesus Christ!
Sometimes in our faith-walks God calls us to move beyond ourselves.
What does that mean?
How do we become more?
What does it mean to be a little uncomfortable in our faith?
In this week's message, we look at what Jesus tells us about extrordinary love: forgive your enemies.
Happy Mother's Day to all our moms and mom figures! We are excited to celebrate you today. We love you and all that you do for us!

God gives us the ability and the tools to be prepared for our futures. One of these tools is the Holy Spirit. Join us this week as we talk about it!
God gives us the ability and the tools to be prepared for our futures. How can we step into our faiths and move the Kingdom with momentum? Let's talk about it!
The Word of God is a faith builder. The more you hear and read it, the more encouraged in your faith you become. The Word of God is also likened unto a seed that is sown into our hearts. One seed will bear much fruit if the conditions are right. And the fruit will contain more seed and start regenerating itself. In the same way, the word of God planted in your heart will bring its abundance into your life proportionally to what has been sown. And the fruit of these blessings will regenerate into the lives of others. Plant the Word of God into your heart today!

When our lives and our love is on display for the world to see, the Kingdom advances. How Can you show love this year?
Last week, we looked at how peace was released to the world when Jesus was born. This week, we explore how the announcement of Joy to the world affects us now and how we can live in that joy even when times are tough.
One of the benefits of being connected to God is experiencing His peace. This week, we talk about what that looks like and how to access this peace.
How can we live our lives through the lens of hope? Hope is attained through trust in God and God has given us a trust gauge. Do you know what that is? It's peace. Listen to today's message to hear how you can experience peace!
Belonging is important to God. God created you in His own image and created within us a desire to be in relationship. Why? Because God is relational. God created us all to belong to something. Listen to today's sermon to learn what it means to belong!
Today we look at our great allies in our spiritual battles: angels and the Advocate - the Holy Spirit.
We have a spiritual enemy who is on the move to push forward his agenda and combat God's. The enemy is real and his heart is very simple: to destroy every part of the works of God. So what do we do as a church when we come in to contact with this?
Today, we kick off our new series, "Stranger Things", and explore the role of the church in fighting the true Enemy.
Stepping into "deeper faith" is about discovering our divine purpose in this life. God has an incredible plan to build His Kingdom through each of us, but we don't discover it unless we take our next step deeper in our faith. Come dive in with us as we seek God's purpose in our lives!
Surrender is a scary word – it's not one we do naturally. But when it comes to life with Jesus, the more we surrender, the more blessing we experience. It all starts with the active choice to put our faith in Jesus as Lord. When we surrender, we see the power and grace that comes with His way.
Loving God and loving people are equally important in the words of Jesus. We can't have one without the other. Today we dive into what Jesus meant when he told us to "love others as ourselves" – especially as it is coequal with loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. The bond between the two shows us what this kind of love looks like in the kingdom.
"The Church is built for deep waters." Our faith has the ability to be deepened and strengthened, but how do we do that? Today, we talk about a key step: learning to live with Kingdom priorities. How does God want us to live? When we can answer that question, we take a powerful step into deeper living!
Mercy is a tricky subject, especially in a world so charged with conflict. There are a lot of definitions of mercy people might point to, but today, we explore what God thinks of mercy.
Mercy isn't "just" forgiveness. It's the power to change your life and revive your brokenness!
Like a delicious recipe, there's a world of difference between knowing the ingredients and tasting the real thing. Our faith can't thrive on knowledge alone – we need to experience the presence of God to be changed!
Today we dig into what it actually means to "experience the presence of God" and how it changes our lives with each encounter.
We often have a hard time wrestling with the tension between justice and mercy. Parts of our world can feel "too just" while other places feel "too merciful" to the point of being unjust.Yet, in God, we find a perfect picture of both. And He doesn't pick between the two – He is ALWAYS fully just and merciful. He calls us to live the same way, and today, we dive into what that kind of life looks like.
Life has a way of shaking up our "normal" – and when we get turned around, we can lose sight of God. Thankfully, God never loses sight of us. More than that, He stays close to us when we don't know which way is up. His faithfulness can weather every storm. Today, we explore HOW we can experience the closeness and faithfulness of God when life gets crazy.
There's nowhere we can go that is too far for God! Today, we dig into God's omnipresence - His ability to be everywhere at once.
It's not just a God-sized super power; it's a God-sized comfort for us when we need Him most!
As we continue to explore just how undomesticated God's attributes are, today we focus on His omniscience - His complete knowledge of everything and everyone.
It's not just about his God-sized knowledge of our past and present, but He sees our future. He sees our redemption, our sanctification, and the great works He has laid out for us. And he can see them long before we can.
In our series on God's undomesticated attributes, we take one we know - His power - and dive deeper into what that means.
We know His power is limitless, but the real question is whether or not we walk in that power in our lives. That power is matchless, and it belongs to His people. The invitation is for you!
Do you ever feel like the phrase "God is good" is more of a cliche than a life changing truth? When we pause long enough to reflect on what this powerful phrase actually describes, our world is rocked by just how good God actually is... And He calls us to be like Him.
Welcome to our new series: Beyond || The Undomesticated Attributes of God
Today, we explore the truth that God doesn't change. You might have heard that before, but how does it CHANGE the way we live out our faith? You might find that His constant nature is just what you need today.
What does it mean to be a good steward?
It means we understand that because everything belongs to the Lord, we are responsible to honor Him with whatever He entrusts to us.
Today we dive into the biblical picture of stewardship and what God expects of us as we live under his Lordship.
"Father's are the rudder of a society. And ours need to step up."
This Father's Day, Pastor TJ challenges the men of the church to step forward in gentle strength. We dig into the Word to rediscover what God wants from His uniquely commissioned creation in Fathers.
Some things we can learn by listening, but in the Kingdom of God, we learn by doing. It's by serving God and serving people that we can learn what it means to follow Christ.
Does it ever feel like few topics split the Church as much as worship? Why is this?
More often than not, it's the "how" of worship that divides believers. Maybe we need to start with the "what" of worship...
Today, we talk about what worship IS and what it looks like in the life of a healthy believer.
As we resume our series "Elements", we dig into another cornerstone of our faith: the Word of God.
The Bible is not just a book. It's not even "just" a God-given guide. It is the powerful LIVING Word that changes us as we spend time with it.
It is the soul-saving, heart-changing, life-redeeming Word of God. For us to grow in our relationship with God, the Scripture is where we start and where we stay.
Today, we are joined by Bishop Robert Stearns of Eagles Wings Ministries. He is a traveling speaker and evangelist who joins us today to share a unique perspective on faith, one derived from years of traveling throughout the Church.
Few callings require us to lean more on the Lord than the calling of motherhood! It's a rollercoaster of thrilling highs and will-we-survive-this lows.

Welcome to our new series - Elements! Over the next two weeks, we'll be diving into the building blocks of our faith. They're not just spiritual practices, they're how we grow as fully devoted followers of Christ. Today, we talk about prayer and the way it forms us, aligns us with God's heart, and empowers us to walk out our faith.
Today, we are joined by Dr. Linda Seiler. She is one of the leading voices in the AG movement addressing the challenges of culture. Listen in for a powerful testimony of radical transformation, healing, and restoration. God's design for you is to be free - from the bondage of sin and death - and alive in who God created you to be.
When you need water, your body gets thirsty. Thirst is how you know you need water - it's what drives you to seek it out.
God made our souls to experience the same thing in our need for Him. Jesus is the living water we are made to crave, and with his work on the cross, we can drink deeply of the Living Water.
In the midst of all our busyness this Easter, we take time to reflect on a more sober part of what we celebrate - the suffering of Christ. His example of suffering well is one for us to learn from and follow. Today, we talk about what suffering well in the Kingdom looks like.
Before the faith was called "Christianity", we were called followers of "The Way". So, before "Christian" was a common label, what made this "Way" so different that it got its own name?
The life that Christ calls us to is radically different than the way our sin nature wants us to live. That's why today, we're diving into Paul's description of the calling we receive when we accept Christ - one of gentleness, true humility, peace, and kindness.
John 15 shows us a beautiful picture of how Jesus tends to us as believers to help us bear good fruit. When we are broken, he lifts us up and puts us in a position to grow. If we are already bearing fruit, he prunes us further so we can bear even more fruit.
Our hearts don't change for the better (or for worse!) overnight. Real change starts as a seed and grows until it bears fruit.
Our question today is what seeds are we allowing to be planted in our hearts? Seeds of sin, discouragement, and doubt? Or seeds of faith that grow into a lasting love for God and people?
As we continue our series "Thrive", we take a look at a key part of the rich, fulfilled life Christ came to give us: the soil of our hearts.
Are our hearts healthy and ready to receive God's seeds? Or are they hardened, rocky, and thorny preventing our spiritual growth?
Jesus himself gave us 4 great examples of what spiritual soil looks like: 3 bad, 1 one great. Today, we glean strong warnings and stronger encouragement from the parables of Jesus.
John Thompson led our congregation in corporate prayer for the crisis in Ukraine. We are sharing his prayer in podcast form to invite you to pray alongside us for the suffering to end.
John is a member of our church & worship team who spent time in Russia and Ukraine during his younger days in the military. During that time, he formed deep friendships with the people of that region. John's relationships have been fueling his heartfelt prayers, and he opened our service to lead our church in an urgent time of prayer.
God made life to have seasons - both in nature and in our lives. We have highs and we have lows - and more specifically, sometimes our FAITH has highs and lows.
But even through summer and winter, God's desire is for us to thrive in every season. If our faith runs deep, so can our sense of purpose and peace. Today, we learn what it takes to that have that kind of faith.
This Sunday, we get a kaleidoscopic view of hospitality and the Gospel. We are joined by voices from our Church family who show their stories of how God used hospitality to open their hearts to the Gospel.
We continue our weekly honor of Black History Month - honoring the incredible victories God has performed in and through the African American community.
This week, we honor a champion of the faith: Lucy Farrow. She was born a slave and flourished into a powerful revivalist, most notably in the Azusa Street Revival. She's especially beloved in Charismatic traditions for the way spiritual gifts followed her ministry. Wherever she went, so did God's supernatural power.
Join us in praising God for her life, ministry, and legacy. Remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, God's gifts are for ALL of His children. Just like Lucy, be willing to say "Here am I. Send me!"
The life of Jesus is our model for how we should live. And sometimes, that model calls us to roll up our sleeves to do the work most of us prefer to avoid.
When it comes to our love for each other, Jesus sets the example of washing each others feet - a beautiful picture of love, service, forgiveness, and redemption. Dive in with us as reflect on this story and prepare our own hearts for the same work.
As a church, our heart is to celebrate Black History month within our body and with the diverse network of churches in our region and beyond. When we look at the Scriptures, we see God's truth about race:
So join us this month as we share short tributes each week to the struggles and celebrations of African Americans who have strived to make our world a better place through their gifts and through their faith.
This week, elder Daniel Lumpkin lays out the purpose of Black History month, and invites you to join us in celebrating God's design for mankind.
Loving like Jesus is more than "natural" kindness... it's supernatural too. Jesus showed us how to love by healing people - in heart, in mind, and in body. And He's given us the power to continue loving like Him in all three ways.
The mission of the Church is to "love like Jesus". Some days more than others, that's hard work. And few parts of that are harder than forgiveness.
But Jesus didn't just forgive - He forgave us, even though we were sinners. We could learn a thing or two from that kind of tough love.
What does it mean to "share" in the global work of the Gospel? Today, Don Immell joins us to walk through Paul's letter to the Philippians and what it means to share in God's plan of salvation to the world.
God has WOKEN you up through faith. He's called you to STEP up in obedience. Now it's time to MOVE up and take new ground for the Kingdom. Today, we chat about what that looks like.
When God's call wakes up our hearts through faith... there comes a moment shortly after. A moment in which God asks our newfound faith to step up and step into action.
How we respond to God's challenge can determine the course of our faith. And our life.
Like a bike, stability in our spiritual lives is created by moving forward. As we grow, we experience the strength and power God provides in the midst of life's challenges. In 2022, it's time to dig deeper and move out of the shallows. Take back your life from apathy and return it to the Lord's care.
Today, Pastor Rob digs in on a few all-to-common myths that have gotten mixed in with the story of the magi. Along the way, you'll find a common theme: God goes out of His way to lead you in your story.
As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we celebrate all that He is. It was (and is) HIS righteousness that changes us and saves us. As we lean on Him in faith, we become more like Him.
We think we know love, and we think we know God. But if love is not pouring out in our lives, it's time to rediscover love and the God it flows from. It's time for a new encounter with the divine love that changes us forever!
True joy is not circumstantially dependent. It's divinely dependent. With the arrival of Christ, those who put their faith in God had new, unshakeable reason for joy. Today, we can share in the joy of a timeless savior.
Peace may not be the first word you use to describe our world today. You might even think "peace" doesn't describe the Church today.
When we come back under the reign of the Prince of Peace, the Christian life is one that's marked by peace!
"In heavy darkness, the people have seen a great light."
Those words rang true when Jesus came into our world to save His people from their sins. The miracle? We can say the same thing today as we encounter Jesus - whether it's the first time or if we've walked with Him for years.
If you feel like you've been stuck in the midst of a heavy darkness, today's message is for you. Jesus is for you.
For many Christians, the thought of supernatural miracles and ministry is confusing, if not suspicious. Today, we explore what the Word has to say about the power God gives to His Kingdom to carry out his spiritual, emotional, and physical provision.
Ready for a heart-warming, faith-building fireside chat? Today we dive into God's Word to experience the truth about God's heart for provision. We encounter His love for us, His power around us, and His testimony in us.
How much of life is spent being fearful of having enough? Even if we have enough today, we often feel one surprise away from our "enough" running out.
Our life changes when we realize that WE don't need to worry about "enough" when we walk with a God who is always enough.
If you've ever felt like your Christian walk has been a little stuck recently, it might be that God is calling you to discover FAITH in a whole new way.
It's just not a good feeling, it's the core and substance of our relationship with God. Without, we wither. With it, we prosper.
Sometimes in the Kingdom, God calls us to take ground and stand up to the forces of darkness. Today, we look at David's life and how he partnered with God to bring salvation from the unlikeliest of places.
Dr. Allen Griffin joins us this week to explore a unique perspective - experiencing (and becoming) the aroma of Christ.
When we are facing our greatest trials, sometimes God doesn't save us FROM them. He walks us THROUGH them. We look at the story of the fiery furnace in Daniel, and we reflect on how faith looks especially crazy... unless you see the God who stands in the fire with His people.
Don't we seem to talk about faith as if it's something very... normal? It's easy to talk about it as if it were a feeling, and not a world-changing, God-encountering source of power. We're seeking a crazy faith that calls the miraculous our new normal.
Join us as we start our new series "Crazy Faith".
Sometimes as a church, we need an extra spark to help ignite our passion and fuel our faith for the work of God. Tonight, evangelist Johnny Jernigan joins us to testify to God's powerful work and strengthen our resolve to walk in the Kingdom's power.
It's the things you don't see that pose the biggest threat. As the Word says - "A people without vision perish." Want to keep your momentum rolling in the kingdom of God? Keep your spiritual vision clear!
Join us as we kick off our series Momentum with Baptism Sunday. The Kingdom of God isn't built in a day, and we are called to join the already-in-motion plan of God for our community. He's building momentum in His purposes - it's time to jump into the new life that's springing up!
The role of Jesus as our Healer can be a hard one to talk about in world full of sickness, injury, and pain. But when we look at the life of Jesus and his own precious teachings, we see a clear and moving picture of his power to heal. He came to restore, and healing is just one part.
Who Jesus is carries the ultimate weight when it comes to who we are. Today we dive into how knowing Jesus changes who we are and how we live as children of God.
Join us as we continue exploring the Son of God, our Savior Jesus, in His own words. Today we dive into John 10, where Jesus is not only the Good Shepherd, but also the only "The Gate" to the our Good Shepherd's fold.
If you've been told that "God is enough", but you don't really know what that looks like, then today is for you. Jesus is everything we need, but do we really believe that?
The Christian life isn't just "harder" when you're not in relationship with the Holy Spirit. It's empty by comparison. Today we dive into the game-changing statement, "I Am the Vine".
We are living, but are we experiencing resurrection life in Christ? There's a BIG difference, and today we chat about what it means to live in it!
You may have heard Jesus called "The Good Shepherd", but have you experienced Him as YOUR Good Shepherd?
Jesus isn't just our one-time Savior. He's our daily fuel for powerful Christian living. Without Him, we can do nothing, but WITH Him, all things are possible!
Jesus taught us about who He was and what came to do in His "I AM" statements. Today we dive into Jesus' role as the "Light of the World" both in His day and in our lives now.
We start our series diving deeper into knowing Jesus by His own words. Join us as we look at the Word with fresh eyes!
God is always working - catching the wave of His Spirit is about how we respond when He moves.
How often do we underestimate God's power to use us in mighty ways?
This Father's Day, we look at the story of Gideon – an unlikely hero who became the rescuer Israel needed and God always planned.
When we try to stand on our own goodness, we find ourselves unable to build the kingdom of God.
It's only by replicating God's heart – His goodness, his righteousness, his love and mercy – that we can catch the wave of His kingdom.
Join us as we drop in to our new series "Catch the Wave".
God is always on the move. The question is, are we riding His waves?
