The boys are back. With tax season upon us the guys look at what they're going to do with their tax refund. How about spending it on designer candles! Who buys designer candles? Apparently everyone! In this episode they look at the designer candle craze and how its no longer a dollar store thing. Also no longer a need for the old Aircare program here in BC with all these new electric vehicles hitting the road, Rmac explains to Chu the craziness that went down in the era of Aircare. Why does real estate have to be so formal? The boys think why not rock up in satin jackets, skinny jeans and a lifted truck
The fellas are late to the party discussing New Years resolutions and goals. What they should of done is consult their life coach before they went on air with them though. They discuss the OG of life coaches, the man himself , Tony Robbins and how he was ahead of his time when it came to keeping people accountable. The boys look at the hilarious Pro Bowl and throw out some Superbowl predictions. Rmac misses that blue collar vibe with sports and goes down memory lane discussing when Blockbuster video was a date night.
A quick short rant about the B.C program called Aircare that started in 1992 and lasted all the way up until 2014. Rmac breaks it down for Chu since he had no clue what the program was about. The boys dive deep into the politics of the program and how they feel it was a complete waste of time and money
Timeless TV with a message. Chics and Wine. Charcuterie boards is big business. Time is precious. These are just some of the topics the boys touch on and dive into. Rmac loves a good charcuterie board even though he doesn't even eat pork and Chu wonders what happened to those vacuum repair guys. No pet peeves this time through, but a public service announcement instead at the end from Chu Man
Another week another pod. The fellas back in the lab passionate about this weeks topics. Longevity has always been an interest with Rmac but Chu thinks everyone is more concerned about looking like the Rock. How about drug companies targeting old guys with fun commercials, Rmac and Chu talk about the dangers that can have. Anyone up for a $1200 steak? neither are the boys, Rmac tries to find an ounce of value with Salt Bae's ridiculous priced steaks.
Boys are back with a ton to talk about. Popping bottles at Cactus Club but not the World Cup in Qatar which kicked off this past weekend. What do you do when someone hand you a business card? toss it? the fellas think cards are old school . Are Mani and Pedis just for the ladies? some guys think they are, but not Chu Man. Should you expect large portions when spending large dough at a restaurant? what is the strategy when it comes to making sure you are not still hungry. Also the boys break down a little NFL action and the push to promote in Europe.
Season 2 kicks off with Rmac fresh off of mat leave. Just having a new baby boy, the fellas discuss what its like now for Rmac and his new dad bod, dive into old guys that cant trust the uber app, and experiences you had back in the day that dont exist anymore. Remember when Limos were a huge deal? the fellas do and they break down how ridiculous limo rides actually are. The boys look at Tebow Time and how timeless that was. Is there any room now for workplace shirt day and does that help or hurt team building? Rmac thinks they should hand out vomit bags when you walk into that office
The Fellas back at it hanging out and eating a bowl of cereal talking bout pajama parties. They look at the NFL and Baker Mayfield - Rmac talks about Baker's worst nightmare coming true. The boys wonder why anyone goes into a bank these days and why male servers at Cactus Club even exist. Episode 9 is sizzling like last summer's heat wave in Vancity. Chu had a weekend at a club and is still recovering. The fellas tell you what age you should probably stop clubbing and they take the same stance for music festivals as well. Also, when are white socks absolutely not appropriate in certain social situations. Would you name your new born baby Karen, and if you did, why? what about all those single Karens today, has their dating stock crashed hard? The fellas weigh in. A quick glance at the NFL on one of the slowest months of the year...
The fellas are back after a little time off. Touching on Game 4 of the NBA finals between Golden State and Boston. Then they go hard discussing the hustle of being a meter maid and what it must take. Rmac and Chu Man wonder if steak houses were once more popular and if you still go would you bring you bring your vegan girlfriend to one. Rmac wonders if hitch hiking will ever be a thing again and Chu ManFu offers some rules that should be installed if it ever did. Chu comes in hard with his weekly pet-peeve and Rmac gives you a throwback to one of his spots in the city
Part 1 of 2. This episode the guys are in studio with a special guest. This 3 man crew looks at the skills of being a wordsmith and what it takes. Quick recap of the NFL draft. The boys take a look at some list of best places to live in Canada and you'll be surprised by the reactions. Chu and Rmac argue about the automated gas services and how back in the day you could toss 5 bucks in your tank and dash outta there. Rmac is pissed off about the whole bag thing, cup fee and paper straws now in Van, but Chu reminds him that places still exist where he can enjoy a plastic straw.

Rmac's wallet about to explode like he is George Costanza. Chu doesn't shop at outlet malls, and the guys figure out why the hell boxers were even invented

Rmac lets us in on what he misses most about live sporting events and ties it all in with his wild restaurant experience in East Van.
