Here at Champions Center, our greatest desire is to maximize and steward well the life Jesus has given to us and to disciple others to do the same. This is a church where everyone has the opportunity to develop into a champion if they so desire. Like you, at the end of our lives, we want to hear Jesus say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." We won't do all of this perfectly, but we will faithfully.

If Jesus is going to continue reaching the world, He will do it through you. It's time to take our country back. It's time to repent and pursue God again. I'm not going to settle for anything less. In today's message, Pastor Brandon talks about the Holy Spirit. Far too often, the Holy Spirit is the forgotten member of the Godhead. Did you know that the Holy Spirit was mentioned before the Father and Jesus in the Bible? Genesis 1:2-3, "The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters." Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.." God is 3, but 1. Today, The Father is on the throne, Jesus is at His right hand, and the Holy Spirit is here. If He is Here, we need to know more about Him and be close to Him. So, what do we need to know about the Holy Spirit? 1. He is the only One who knows the future; so He is the only One qualified to lead you. Jesus said in John 16:13 that the Holy Spirit is our guide. He guides us to places we could never get to on our own. 2. God's presence will satisfy you in ways the world never can. If you've ever heard God, if you've ever felt or sensed God, if you've ever been in this room and tears began to come down your face or your felt goosebumps, or felt the God nudge to talk to somebody, or felt the conviction to forgive someone or get rid of sin in your life, or your reading your bible and you say, "Man, I feel Jesus." No, you feel the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit is here. We love the Holy Spirit. We honor the Holy Spirit. We welcome the Holy Spirit. We can pray to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit changes things, He changes people, and He changes atmospheres. 3. The Holy Spirit is God's guarantee to you that He will meet you on the other side. Ephesians 1:13-14 MSG, "It's in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free - signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what's coming, a reminder that we'll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life."You are in the process of being shipped. You have been inspected and you are faultless through Jesus to go to Heaven. No matter if you feel like your box gets dropped, damaged, or mishandled, the Holy Spirit is your seal that God isn't done with you yet. You're gonna make it to your destination. You're gonna make it home.
In today's message, Pastor Brandon covers three points:1. Faith is when you quit believing what you see and start seeing what you believe.Imagine responding to God's promises with the declaration, "May everything you have said about me come true." That's the essence of faith - seeing beyond the visible.2. True friends walk in when the world walks out.It's about being the person who stands by others when everyone else fades away. Let's strive to be the ones who walk in when the world walks out, offering support and companionship in times of need.3. You can't have part-time faith and expect a full-time victory.Doubts may arise, and that's natural. But in those moments, we must remember to put the "do" in doubt. We keep believing, keep pushing forward, and keep our emotions in check. Like tending to a garden, flourishing requires staying planted - staying faithful to our journey, even when challenges arise.Let's commit to believing, showing up, and sticking around. Because in the end, it's our unwavering faith and perseverance that lead us to victory.
Many of us have been in this place before: feeling inadequate, doubting our worth, lacking confidence. But remember, God calls you to embrace who you are meant to be, not who you once were. He continually calls upon the present you to step into the future you, despite your past. If you feel disconnected from God, start with His teachings. Begin with what you already know. God is unlikely to reveal more if you neglect what He has already shared.When you observe the great movements of faith and the impactful deeds done in God's name, you'll see it's not just about divine speech; it's about people aligning their faith with His guidance. If we want to see Heaven on earth, it requires individuals to synchronize with His will. Recognize your inherent value. "When you fail to recognize the worth of what you hold, you'll always receive less than its true value." Your weaknesses don't define you when you draw strength from Him.
Pastor Brandon shares on the importance of self-control as the final fruit of the spirit, emphasizing its significance in leading a fruitful life. Drawing from Galatians 5:16-23, Pastor Brandon highlights the role of the Holy Spirit in producing virtues like love, joy, and self-control. He provides four key mindsets for developing discipline, stressing the need to clarify one's purpose, start immediately rather than waiting for the "perfect" time, prioritize discipline over passion, and recognize the inevitability of facing challenges.
Most things in life are temporary, but producing fruit will endure. There must be a suitable atmosphere for the fruit to flourish (Galatians 5:25-26). Just as fruit cannot thrive in every climate or season, similarly, the fruit of the spirit cannot develop in every individual's life or within every church.
Jesus leaving the 99 to find the 1 seems irrational and senseless - until that 1 is you.
Jesus has the power to turn all situations into something good. He made a bad Friday good. According to Romans, He can also work in the same way for us. He orchestrates everything for the benefit of those who love Him and are aligned with His purpose. Thus, He has the ability to reverse any circumstance for good.
You can't fall into the life of a disciple - you have to choose it. Nothing you do for Jesus is ever wasted. It's all noticed. Its valued and appreciated.
Don't be so unbelieving that you need others to believe on your behalf. God made you at the right time in the right place to do the right things to achieve the purpose He has for you!
When do I start? Start where you are, with what you have, with who you are. God is on the move, and He wants to take you with Him.

Too many think a Champion is born, but a champion is made. It’s a process. It’s not all victories. It’s not all triumphs. It’s not a highlight reel. That might be what you see, but there is so much more. There are losses, there are fears, and there are wounds. Yet despite having every reason to fail, every reason to quit, they do it anyway. They do it scared. They do it to leave a mark. They do it to leave a dent in the universe. They do it to make an investment in someone who needs it and may not have it. If you minister to God, He will minister to you. When you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. Think about the most selfish person you know? Got the mental picture? It's always about them. Their choice, their convo, their victimhood, etc. Maybe some are better, but there is still selfishness. Now think about the people you love to be around - those who are refreshing. Those who make it about you. Those who honor you. God loves all, but He does favor those who are more about themself, people who love and serve Him, people who love Him the way He wants to be loved.

What if we've been worshipping God the wrong way?
A relationship doesn't mean that you get to do what you want. A relationship is so much harder than a religion. A religion is easy - you can mail that in all day, but not a relationship. We are in a relationship with God, and that means finding out what He likes and what He doesn't like, and doing what He likes. You don't need to understand God's preferences or why He likes certain things and not others; you just need to know what they are and do them if you wanna be in a relationship with God.

God isn't looking for delayed obedience; He's looking for immediate obedience. All too often, to get believers interested in obedience, benefits must be emphasized. The majority of us place excessive importance on people's opinions while neglecting God's perspective. Whom you fear dictates whom you serve! If you fear God, you will obey His will. If you fear man, you will ultimately succumb to human desires. When you fear people, you project a façade. When you fear God, your true essence emerges.

So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way." Pressure doesn’t mean God isn’t in it. Pressure can be a great thing and a sign that you are on track. There’s good pressure and bad pressure. Bad pressure can come from knuckle headed decisions and your own undoing. This is a church where everyone has the opportunity to develop into a champion if they so desire. Like you, at the end of our lives, we want to hear Jesus say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." We won't do all of this perfectly, but we will faithfully.
