The ability to think critically and independently is being undermined by an over-reliance on advice and information from others. While advice can be helpful as a starting point, blindly following the recommendations of others can lead you in the wrong direction. It is important to consider the experience and qualifications of those offering advice and whether their suggestions genuinely apply to your own situation and goals. Question assumptions and seek alternative perspectives. Do not let advice hijack your own thinking. Maintain an open yet skeptical mindset, think for yourself, and trust your own judgment to make good decisions.

Hey everyone, welcome to the Better Aspects Podcast. Today we are going to talk about how you can understand your emotions because let’s face it, we all have come across situations where we cannot understand why we are feeling the way we feel at that moment. When we experience low mood, it may have been influenced by several factors from our internal and external world, but when we understand what those influences are, we can use that knowledge to shift it in the direction we want it to go. So in this episode, we will discuss some research knowledge, tools, and questions to help you get a hold of your emotions, based on the research from the bestselling book “Why has nobody told me this before” -by a clinical psychologist, Dr. Julie Smith. So, I am Mayank without further ado, and let’s get started.
