Jordan Sakkas and Mikey Farmer are 2 international lifters for Wales and Great Britain. They have been training together for the last 7 years and have been on an incredible journey so far. Both Mikey and Jordan have represented Great Britain and Wales on 15 different occasions combined, winning medals at Youth and Junior levels, they both recently competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Along side their international honours they have multiple domestic achievements to their name. Both being multiple Welsh and British record holders with Jordan being a 2 x British Champion.

This week we start the show with a listener question asking us "Competitive weightlifters such as yourselves seem to be less interested in discussing the big comps than recreational lifters who will non-stop discuss the Worlds ect. Why?", We then move on to the World Weightlifting Championships 2022 in Bogotá, Columbia which was 2 days in at the time of recording. We move on to speak about the recent Welsh Senior Championships, discussing anonymous statements made to us regarding the event. Around 30 mins in we bring on our feature guest, Team GB Weightlifting Physio Liam Rodgers who DAIled in (See what I did there) live from Bogotá, Columbia. Liam speaks about his role for Team GB in Bogotá, which is more than just being there for manual treatment. We then ask liam to provide the listeners at home with some key Physio exercises that we as weightlifters should be doing to get more kilos on the bar (Useful shit).
