Just a little bit about me, I am a Mum to an amazing girl hitting her tweens, a certified business & life coach, a martial arts instructor with a black belt in kickboxing, a senior management corporate girl during the week an a beekeeper in my spare time. I am great believer in taking messy action with one of my favorite quotes of all time being taking Imperfect Action is better than taking Perfect Inaction. I have spent nearly 20 years at a senior corporate level, in a range of different industries and roles that has inspired me to share my knowledge and wisdom with you all. In my last job interview even though I had written out a number of what I thought were fairly detailed questions for the employer I realized I could be asking more professional questions so I spent a bit of time going through working out 10 questions that are fairly universal but exceptionally professional and it presents a genuine purpose for asking that particular question that will give you the potential employee a much better overview of what the company you are interviewing for is like and if you are a good fit. Because ultimately even though the employer is interviewing you going to a job interview is also you interviewing them.

This episode is a very personal one, I had an amazing topic picked out but as I started to record, I realised that I had something else heavy on my heart that I wanted to share with you. Change is a scary thing, and everybody processes it differently. The body processes it differently, in my case an injury to my hand has made me take a real step back and look at what my future looks like, what I've been doing in my past and where my heart truly lies. Getting out of my comfort zones and following my dreams is going to take a really big leap faith and I'm terrified. When I started working in the business world especially in corporate the language being thrown around would absolutely boggle my mind and after a while it became second nature but I remember how lost I used to feel so I brainstormed 10 of the top business abbreviations that I have come across in my business journeys and I am hopeful, that the following business abbreviations (I have broken it into 2 parts with 5 abbreviations per episode) including the reasons why a business owner should be familiar with them and how they can bring you more financial gain - including examples of well-known corporations that have excelled in their fields to give you more clarity on how profitable they can be, that have mastered these business aspects supports you in your business journey.
