Aaron and Willie are church production directors in rural Georgia. They were best friends, and became brothers in law, as they married sisters. Join us as we cover working on a church staff, family, and comedic findings in church culture. We also plan to nerd out about our shared passion, audio production. We hope to help others that are pursuing excellence in church production, as we discuss sound and technology.
In this episode, we discuss football, hitchhikers, and the tv show "Mash". We also cover some more controversial church topics later in the episode. This episode was so packed, we didn't get around to talking about anything technology related this week.
We recorded too much content for our last episode, so here's a mini bonus episode about a few random topics!
On today's episode, we share our opinions on a particular church's Christmas production. As we also discuss the question of " how much is too much?”
Today we'll share a couple funny church stories, and catch up from the past 2 weeks.
Eventually we get to talking about audio compression and noise gates.

This episode is all about EQ, which is short for equalization. EQ is basically manipulating and shaping sound pressure to get the sound you want. We'll cover solo instrument situations, band settings, and we'll walk through a basic starting point for every instrument that's commonly found in a worship band. We're also going to talk about "tuning your room" and getting the most out of your speakers.
The Pilot Episode. On this episode, we will cover gain staging, and how gain effects everything else in the signal flow.
