Guest speaker Michael Robble brings us a message from John 1, reminding us of the grace and truth found only in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Truly, God's grace abounds to those who believe in His son. It is completely unmerited but yet because of God's great love for us, He extents his eternal salvation to us through His son. What a wonderful gift we can freely receive by believing in the One who He has sent!
In today's sermon, Micah Forsythe gives us 4 steps that must be fulfilled in order to reach true repentance. In Psalm 51 we see that David acknowledged his sin, owned his sin, hated his sin, and turned from his sin. In his deep confession of his sin before the Lord, he was then able to reach deep, true repentance. Listen and be encouraged to confess your sin deeply, and honestly before the Lord, who delights in forgiving broken and contrite sinners and grow in you love for our Savior Jesus Christ who has made such forgiveness possible.
Guest speaker Jeff Palen brings us a challenge and a word of encouragement from Psalm 117 in His proposition: 'The result and reason of evangelism, is worship'. Truly God is to be praised by all peoples. Evangelism is how that is made possible. By our sharing of the best news ever, of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and how He paid the debt of sin each of us owes, God receives the glory that is due Him for what He has done. Listen and be encouraged to share the gospel as an act of worship to our great God who desires all people to know Him!
