BUN PATTY FIXINS VIBE: Recent Episodes

Rockwell Productions

By which measures do you judge a burger? Is it not the BUN? The PATTY? The FIXINS? And the VIBE?

Join hosts Tad Moore & Daniel Matthews (from The Ozark Burger Review) as they discuss the world of burgers. Learn about the history, evolution, pop-cultural relevance, and even the agronomics of America's favorite food.

Burgers will be tasted and analyzed from every probable (and improbable) angle, content consumed and critiqued, and topics chased (sometimes undesirably) down the metaphorical rabbit hole of light-hearted, friendly conversation.

Everything not on the plate is the VIBE! And it's real important when judging a burger. Tad and Dan discuss some of their favorite (and not so favorite) burger vibes around Northwest Arkansas.

Maybe this wouldn't matter if we ate burgers blindfolded...

The adjective of the burger - the FIXINS. There are a lot of things that can go on a burger...but not every one of them SHOULD go on a burger. Tad and Dan give their opinions on that and discuss which fixins are perhaps underrated?

Also, could a burger be an analogy of life, identity, and desires? LOL, we'll see how far they can stretch that out.

The second element in our name and, perhaps, the most important to a burger. The 'meat patty' has been around for a long time (1st century CE). Today, there are many types of patty preferences (slider, smash, high tower, etc.) and they all have the meats.

Tad and Daniel also dive into what a Lord of the Rings burger would entail. Tad aims for a patty and hits a meatloaf, while Daniel reminisces about the Chicken Salad Sandwich from Arby's.

The first element in our name, but the second element in the assembly history of the burger. The BUN can make or break a burger. Too thin? It falls apart. Too toasted? It dries up the patty. Should it be a role-player? Should it be the star? There are many bun-variants...and we have our opinions.

A few months back we (Tad Moore & Daniel Matthews) started The Ozark Burger Review and it's been an absolute blast. We started researching other ways to bring the people some good old-fashion 'burger content' and we came across something that surprised us...or better yet, we didn't come across it and THAT surprised us. WE COULD NOT FIND A BURGER PODCAST!! WHAT!! At least, not one like this...SO, we have decided to fill that void and invite people on this burger adventure with us. Please enjoy.
