How to Not Raise a Little Sh!t: Recent Episodes

Jillian

I talk about books, including the one I'm writing. You'll also hear my musings on current events, homeschooling, religion, and whatever else I've been thinking about. The title of my book is, "How to Not Raise a Little Sh!t- a Book About Parenting".

I know of a mom, a good mom, with 3 young kids. She loves her kids and would do anything for them. Except, apparently, stay home and raise them.

For a mere extra $200/month she continues to work. The hustle, strain, time, energy to keep up has its effects, most of which will be seen in 10+ years from now, unfortunately.

In this episode Jillian gets into who is raising our kids, words and phrases that are brought up in schools and media to make things seem normal and routine, and how we're losing our children because of lack of energy, and most importantly- lack of faith.

Why do I still attend a church that I'm embarrassed by? Because I understand the difference between "the Church" and "the Gospel". Because I understand that we live in a terrestrial world and can only do so much here to attain celestial glory.

It is through Christ we are saved, and this church (while imperfect) is the closest thing we mortals can do to get to Him.

The C19 vackseen was a scam, as was BLM, and my church went along with it all. It's because, in my opinion, we have the leadership in the church we deserve. Russell M. Nelson is our prophet because he's the one we'll listen to, though it's Christ who we are to turn to and trust.

Our kids come into this world a clean slate. They have no idea that elephants have big ears and that the sky is blue. They trust in us to teach them these things. They also trust when the adults in their life say dumb things like, "Kids don't like vegetables." No, maybe THEIR kid doesn't like vegetables but that's their fault. It'll be your fault if yours don't either. Certainly we all have our personal likes and dislikes (I can't stand grapefruit), but to make one meal for you and a separate meal for your kid is a big mistake and sets a habit that is not easily broken. You are not a short order cook, your kids will eat what you make as long as you set that as a principle in your home early on. A principle that they will benefit from for a life time.

Sex has permiated into nearly every aspect of our culture where now we have public school teachers talking to elementary children about who they have sex with. The perversion of sex is ruining marriages and families. All because Satan will have us believe that orgasm is the climax of life- that all things should be about who one has sex with. This is a lie. Orgasm is not the climax of life, nor even the climax of sex. A child is the climax of sex. I talk about all this and more on today's episode.

The CDC was becoming irrelevant with the invention of antibiotics and, most importantly, clean water and waste disposal (people were no longer dumping their bowel movements and other waste onto the streets below in most places of the world). The powers-that-be within the CDC didn't want to become irrelevant however, so Dr. Anthony Fauci was brought on board to figure out how to stay current. But how does the Center for Disease Control stay current in a world were disease was becoming eradicated? Easy. Create disease.

For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka Mormons) we've been told that, "tithing is ten percent and ten percent is tithing", "do you want gross blessings or net blessings?" , "pay tithing on your increase" and other such nonsense. The prophets and other leaders from the church, or Christ himself, have never said the words: increase, wage, earnings, gross, or net. Yet, it's what we've all grown up in the church to hear and even believe. Jillian reads from D&C 119 and talks about the words Joseph Smith said in the first revelation and the context from which the revelation came. Is it possible you've been paying too much?

Start looking around and noticing moms lugging their baby around in carseats. What do you see? Is mom looking at Baby? Sure, maybe for a minute. Does that baby later need to wear one of those ridiculous helmets to reshape its head? Probably. Babies left in carseats, babies that aren't held get a flat head. Mom's who don't hold their babies cause flatheadedness! This is an important problem in today's culture, but even more importantly is the bonding that still needs to take place between mother (and father) of Baby.

Jillian dives into reasons why you don't need an epidural. You really don't. Go ahead and get one if you really think you need it, but you don't. So many moms aren't willing to fight for their children when they're kid needs them. Is this because they didn't have to fight to bring them into this world at the beginning? Jillian explores this idea and more.

Jillian tells why she's starting this podcast and the book it will become. She talks about being a mom, how crazy hard it is but also how convenient motherhood has become. Are we losing our children? Is it time to stand upon a wall and cry repentance to the people-mothers- out there who are allowing their children to be lost?
