Where have I been loca? Well, busy getting older!

I have returned from Wrestlemania 40 and I am here to (kinda) tell the tale. I talk about Wrestlecon, whether staying in an airbnb or Hotel is a better choice, WWE World, Walemania, The WWE Hall of Fame, Joe’s Tailgate, and Wrestlemania 40 in Philadelphia. I have more to say about it and I may touch on it later but I wanted to chat about the positive experiences I had.

It is the first episode of 2024 and it is an interview with Daniel Toujours, the author of “Ghosts of the Wilderness: An Everyday Guy’s Search for America’s Rare and Elusive Wildlife”. This episode took me a while to release as I wanted to finish his book prior to release (and editing is always a long game for me). I really enjoyed the book and recording this episode! I learned so much!

Daniel gives us many nuggets of information from how he started his hiking adventures, the different types of rock art (petroglyph and pictograph), animals he found in nature, acclimatization, the TMZ/30 mile zone, and finding ticks after hikes.

I got my highschool made Instagram account hacked. I am one of the fortunate people who was able to get my Instagram account back after a hacking and it was exhausting, challenging, and quite depressing. It is almost like a legal case and if you are willing to do the work and have the correct information, you can also get through this slow and tedious process of getting an instagram account back.

In this episode, I tell the story of how I got my deactivated Instagram account hacked, the process of getting my Instagram account back, important information that you should know in the event that this ever happens to you, and conclusion of where I am at today.

Yes, my number 1 most listened to artist of 2023 is WWE… and contrary to popular belief, I am not embarrassed about this. WWE is my favourite soundtrack in life and I will never stop listening to my favourites.

IT IS THE END OF AN ERA! I am so sad and emotional. Hardin and Tessa are end game and we get to see Hardin’s journey to the end. Thank you Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin for an amazing run.

While this may be a controversial take, I did quite enjoy this film. While it kind of strayed from the original story line, I thought it was well executed, the cinematography was good, and its lead up to the conclusion was effective.

In this episode, I give my thoughts about the final After movie, as well as a recap of the film.

I rarely cry but I did cry at the end of this film and this podcast recording. I also forgot to discuss Tessa’s awful bangs at the end but thats for someone else to take on.

I used my live recording of James Bay’s live version of “Us”, the Hessa official song, as the intro to this episode because it was fitting.

Tell me what you think about the film! I will miss the fandom, despite the issues we had towards the end. All good things must come to an end.

P.S. Anna Todd has teased the writing of another Hessa novel, so maybe it isn’t so over for us all, AFTER ALL!

I WILL NEVER LIKE COOPER! If you are #TeamCooper, this is not the episode for you!

In this recap of Season 2 of the Netflix show, “Sex/Life” or “SexLife”. I will discuss episodes 1-6, my thoughts on all of the characters, and the happily ever after finale (which leads me to believe that there will be no season 3). As you know, this show is mainly sex scenes and it did not fail to deliver on those! We discuss the couples: Cooper and Bille, Cooper and Francesca, Billie and Majid, Brad and Billie, Brad and Gigi, and Sasha and Kam.

Also, lets not forget the iconic and hilarious moment in Episode 6, 17 minutes and 41 seconds in (thank me later).

This season had a better storyline than the first but it was not as well acted. I do love the ending and how everything came full circle. It was a good look into the nuances of marriage, first loves, happy endings, and second chances.

Overall, I would rate season 2 a 3.5/5 (similar to my rating for season 1)

ITS WEDDING SEASON!

My Mom and I had a heated debate. I believe that it is $100-200 per plate at a wedding, while my mom believes that it's $300-400 per plate (invite her to your weddings y’all). On my personal Instagram, I asked my followers how much a guest should pay per plate at a wedding. This spawned a productive and interesting conversation that lasted a day. I discovered many findings about what people prefer to pay, how much the couple prefers to receive, cultural and regional considerations, and how to calculate your cost per plate. Someone asked me to make a tiktok about this, but because I am not good at TikTok, I have decided to make a podcast episode with my findings.

This is a bit of a somber episode. My dog, Bessie, has passed away! But she lived an epic life and we are happy to have provided it. I got my Master’s Degree. Big Whoop!

On the same weekend, I completed my Masters Degree and my dog died. My dog was literally with me throughout two degrees! Lets shout out to her for all of the support during those all nighters.

Starting a new chapter in life, without university or a dog, is a bit of a huge transition. I am trying to figure life out and hopefully you continue to listen while I do.

I am back! Life is super busy and I rarely have a down moment these days but I felt like an episode on Season 2 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind was super necessary! I have so many thoughts. Happy Valentine's Day! Love is in the air for some..not me though but hopefully for you!

I am only recapping this because I want to not because I need to. Season 2 of Emily in Paris is significantly better than Season 1, however, there are still nuances that need to be addressed. I do a high level recap of this #1 Netflix show but not in chronological order.

This season didn’t do anything to make me like Emily or Gabriel more but it was still a good light show to watch. I didn’t say that it was good, but it was an easy watch.

Overall, the last 5 minutes of the series were the most emotional for me. Yes, Molly marrying Taurean was a beautiful moment, but seeing Issa drive down memory lane past the Dunes 709, We Got Y’all and Frieda, and Rite Aid with a new Best Buy Lawrence is what broke me down.

Beautiful conclusion to a very culture changing series.

I had to do this recap of Netflix's "Coming Out Colton" because I recap everything Bachelor Nation here! I knew the whole entire time that Colton Underwood was gay. From his first Bachelor promo. No one had to convince me otherwise. I am absolutely not shocked by this reveal. I am shocked by the way he treated Cassie at the end though!

This whole series was a whole mess and frankly, quite boring. But I still was intent on recapping it for you all. I touch on my thoughts on Colton and the series as a whole. I also give stories from my friends and my life relating to the topics discussed in the show.

Trigger Warning: Around the 21:00 mark, we talk about Episode 3 of the show which is about religious trauma. Please note that I use sarcasm to get through parts of this episode as it was a tough one. But also it was a good conversation.

Lastly, I would rate this series 2.5 out of 5 stars if possible. The intent was good, but the execution was poor.

I had to do it. I had to give my opinion on Adele’s album, 30. In my opinion, the album was ⅗. People may disagree with me, but I didn’t find it to be that great.

Also, this was (finally) a good episode of Season 5 of HBO Insecure. Yet, I would still rate it as ⅗.

No, not everyone I know is Thriving ATM. That just happened to be the best quote from the episode and this is supposed to be a HBO Insecure Recap Episode. Recap starts at 18:45.

This episode is a bit somber to start. I spend the first 20 minutes of the episode discussing the tragedy that is the Astroworld Festival. Travis Scott and others are currently being thrown lawsuit after lawsuit. This is such a sad situation and it has actually impacted me this week. I do give my perspective on both sides and my personal/professional opinion on the crowd surge issue. Please note that these are my thoughts and opinions. There are a lot of ideas going around and I am not a perfect source. Some of my views/statements may be controversial. Don't come for me.

Then, I give my thoughts on Episode 3 of HBO’s Insecure. Episode 3 was a masterpiece. The contrast between Motherhood and Fatherhood was really shown well here. Also, will Condola and Lawrence ever see eye to eye? Lastly, Kelli is the best character on the show and a National Treasure. Let’s protect her.

Hello! I am back! And as promised, I have the recap of HBO’s Insecure with me. It is season 5, the final season and we are just starting. With 8 episodes left, aka 4 hours left, we know what could happen but we don’t know what will. Michelle started writing ‘Inked’ while in university and drew inspiration for her main character during her bus rides to class. Move on over Christian Grey because Brad Simon has arrived. I binged this show (Sex Life or Sex/Life) in 1 day and I have many, many, many thoughts to share. Do not listen to this episode if you have never watched the show before as I basically recap the important parts of the show and give my opinion on the show. Overall, I would give this 3.5 out of 5 Stars. Heads up: 4 hours of the show is dedicated to sex scenes so if that's your thing then this show is for you! I feel like my assessment of the series and leaning more towards being Team Brad is a controversial opinion. Insecurity and jealousy are never cute and this is a prime example of that.

This week was a truly boring episode and there was not too much to say about it. But the last 10 minutes (minus commercials) were the only entertaining part. A little pest named Karl decided to spread fake drama. I forgot to discuss the sex positive group date/event that they had. And Greg. As always, we love Greg and we loved how he opened up this week.

This is something that we debate all of the time yet we agree to disagree on. Which one is better: Call Her Daddy or Sofia With An F? Both have their strengths and weaknesses. While Alex and Sofia will never reconcile on the pod and the good old days have ended, Antonio and I listen to both podcasts on Wednesdays and Thursdays (almost every week), so we think that we have the right to speak on this. We love both podcasts but Antonio is Team CHD and Alex is Team SWAF. P.S. Harry Jowsey, we love you. P.P.S. Our biggest fear is getting canceled like Armie Hammer btw. Just so you know. On this week's episode, I had the opportunity to interview Kyle Spyrides all the way from Australia! Kyle was born in South Africa and moved to Australia at a very young age. His mom was an international model which helped to fuel his love for travelling. Kyle has travelled to over 30+ countries and takes the time to recount a few of his favourite places.
