Special Episode Alert! 

In light of SASE Science Week, today’s episode is dedicated to Public Health Awareness focusing on mental health. For the first time, the podcast has a guest appearance featuring Maisha Ikra! Maisha is a Marketing Chair within SASE, and she has been involved with the organization since her freshman year.

The hosts and Maisha talk about their mental health and how they have dealt with it. The topics include severe stress due to academics, professionally diagnosed mental illnesses, and experiences with therapy.

The episode also contains helpful advice from Dr. Sangmoon Kim, who is a senior counselor at Binghamton University. His advice addresses red flags in mental health, simple and effective ways to cope with stress, and a statement about emotional strain due to recent anti-Asian hate crimes.
