In these Meditations, they are an invitation to pause and rest deeply into a part of our own being that is always still, quiet and unchanging. As we rest back into just this, it helps us be more welcoming and with an open heart, listen to the moment as it is. Allowing the body and mind to naturally settle, rest and feel a sense of peace, compassion and well being. Enjoy x www.victorialilly.com

In this guided Mediation, I invite you to notice, listen and observe the breath. Putting a gentle attention on the breath and just being aware.

The breath is a beautiful way to help us return to our natural essence, a pathway back to presence. We can only sense and experience the breath in the present moment. The breath gently anchors our attention into the here and now. It's amazing how we respond to something so simple.

The breath is a gift that gives us life. When we follow the rhythm of the breath, allowing it to breathe through the body and opening more into this quality of undoing rather than doing, then the body and mind have an opportunity to rest, open, and heal.

In this Mediation, I Invite you to attune to your Sankalpa. Sankalpa is the Sanskrit word for intention, vow, commitment. San means ‘to become one with, born from the heart’ and kalpa means ‘unfolding over time’.

We can use a Sankalpa as a way to set an intention, to connect with our heart’s deepest desire, that provides meaning, purpose and value to our life. It’s an expression of our essential nature.

The mediation also includes body sensing, allowing the whole body to settle, relax and rest deeply. Enjoy, Love Victoria x

An Inner resource meditation practice, is a lovely way to nourish the felt sense of unchanging well being. As life unfolds we may encounter experiences that evoke strong emotions, beliefs, feelings or situations that feel challenging.

An Inner resource is experienced as a feeling of peace, equanimity, groundedness and well being.

As we rest in this quality of well being it helps us hold these experiences as they are with warmth, compassion and security.

It’s a heartfelt embodied experience, a felt sense in your body that helps you feel relaxed. Love Victoria x

Resting as the open space where our changing activities of life spontaneously come and go, without preference or pull towards a particular movement, helps us be more welcoming to the moment as it is.

In this Meditation we turn our attention to one of the foundations of a meditation practice and that is the body.

When we attune to the body, the physical body (earth body) and the subtle body (energy body) it helps ground the mind.

The body can only be experienced in the here and now, we can only sense the sensations of the body in the present moment.

The mind can be naturally flighty, sending us into pasts memories or future thoughts. But when we invite attention into the body, this enables the mind to ground and settle, and we are able to anchor and rest into a direct and present experience. Enjoy Love Victoria x

When we rest into the heart space, it helps bring forth qualities of peace, compassion and connection that we can move out into our day with. Enjoy! Warm wishes, Victoria x

One of the practices we can do in Meditation is to open into a welcoming space, a welcoming space for all our experiences to naturally flow, not stopping anything. Just like a river flowing, letting the water have it own unbroken movement not to build a dam to control it.

So the invitation is to welcome all the coming and goings of our experience, everything is welcome in this vast open space. In welcoming we allow life just as it is, not trying to change or fix anything, we are not turning away, with compassion we are intermittently meeting the moment just as it is. All the while having that sense of stepping back and resting into this already present quiet space, and letting the moment unfold with ease.

A lovely enquiry to drop into your day from time to time. Feel, sense, see, hear, touch or smell. Use all of your senses to enliven what you love in this moment. Maybe the light that meets the shadows, the reflection on the wall, a colour or the sound of the rain. These little moments in our day, that in the blink of an eye, we may miss.

Enjoy

A meditation where we are dropping out of the mind & into the heart. Where we take seat into the silence of this space and open out into our meditation from this heart centre. Instead of the mind in the driving seat we shift into the passenger seat and meet our experience just as it is. Not trying to be in control but be the space for all of our experience to arise in.

When we bring our attention into this heart space, it nourishes natural qualities within us of love, compassion & peace that we can embody and move out into the world with.
