Paloma Forde is a leading expert in the field of special educational needs & dyslexia. Early Intervention and Early Detection are essential! Our Guest today is Alexia Pfeiffer this is one incredible accomplished young Lady! A high-school Senior who will be going in to pre-med next year! Meredith Pope and myself were so inspired!!

Though bullied in school because she had a speech and learning disability Alexia rose from that to become a published author of a children's book called Albert the Frog and the Founder of The Difference is You! A college scholarship program for youth just like her with speech and learning disabilities.

Listen as Alexia shares her story of being bullied in school for having a speech and learning disability and how she rose from that and her powerful message to children and youth just like her! Her book Albert the Frog is about a frog who has reading and speech disabilities and struggles with being bullied but continues to study and eventually tests out of the programs and achieves honor classes. The Difference is You is a program created to provide college scholarships to high school students with speech and reading disabilities.

Jill shares what it was like to grow up with dyslexia. Jill's brief bio: Jill is the current President of Cedar Center Arts dba The Art Garage. Jill previously worked at the Weidner Center in Green Bay. She has a MA in Theatre and a BA in theatre and a minor in dance. She has worked in New York and was the assistant stage manager for the a tour of Phantom. Her biggest performance was in 2012 at the Olympic Opening Ceremonies where she played a suffragette. Jill was Miss Green Bay America in 1991 and Miss Wisconsin Central in 1993.
