Welcome to our first Week Ahead podcast for 2021. Over the holidays, the House and Senate retained the needed votes to override President Trump’s veto of the National Defense Authorization Act. And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was re-elected for her speakership position—albeit by a narrow margin of 216 to 209. She’s now operating with what Politico calls “little room for error.”
