Friendships can be such a blessing but when they come to an unexpected end with no reason it can be hard. This episode I’m sharing my personal experience and how I learned how to navigate past wanting closure to allowing God to show me to seek wisdom.

Are you experiencing some highs and lows in your journey to leveling up? Does it feel like every time you get to a point in your journey life knocks you back down? If you don’t, I sure do.
It feels like as I climb closer to the top it’s something that comes to knock me down or try to take me off course. But I think God everyday for being my harness of protection to keep me from completely falling or even breaking my spirit and my faith when I do fall (because we do all fall at some point of the journey).
I hope this episode will encourage you to keep climbing, to put your faith in God, and don’t give up even when you get bumped and bruised during your level up climb.----more----

A few Sundays ago I heard a sermon about managing your thoughts and how we needed to put handcuffs on the things we think about ourselves as well as what we speak.
So, I put this topic in my notes to talk about on a future episode. So after recording this weeks episode and after speaking to my mother, God reminded me of this topic.

Hey luvs and welcome to let’s talk the podcast. My name is CheKesha Simms.
I am a native of Richmond, VA - I am a Woman of God - a wife - a bonus mom - a entrepreneur - a content create - your new favorite podcaster.
I start my first podcast maybe around 2018-19 on anchor under the same name but I questioned myself and wondered if anyone really wanted to hear what lil ole Kesha had to say. As much as I tried to run from podcasting god keeps bringing me back. So back in 2021 I rebranded under it’s a matter of faith. After the first season it had to take a break, and decided if I was really following God or following a trend. So, after doing some major spiritual decluttering god said it’s time to give back everything, I gave you so that someone else can declutter their life.
So, after many attempts and long breaks I know it is time for me to just talk! So here I am ready to be vulnerable with you all. I’m here ready to be the friend to you I wish I had when I was going through my highs and lows ready to be the mentor I needed when I had no direction.
No more scripts just me sharing what god places on my heart on each episode. Of course, structure is important so each episode will have a topic but my words will be straight from my heart.
So, with all that being said let’s talk. Let’s talk about the challenges of being a woman. Let talk about our struggles with fertility. Let talk about the beauty of being a woman, let’s talk about real life.

Welcome to "It's a Matter of FAITH the Podcast"
This is my debut episode and I thought it would be perfect to start with the basics.
It's important to know that whether you are taking baby steps or giant steps all that matter is that you are taking them in faith. I hope this episode leaves you blessed and filled with faith!!!
