The Urge Podcast: Recent Episodes

Lekita Paul

A podcast on emotions, experiences, and thoughts. Welcome to my journey in sharing and gaining knowledge. I started this podcast as I wanted to reach those who are seeking something to relate to. I built the podcast on the foundation of my passion for human emotion and being vulnerable. The podcast is my way of being heard. I wanted to share a part of me through this podcast and so here I am, getting real with you. Every hurt has its own story and so does every healing.

Everyone has to experience grief and loss and it can be a really difficult process to go through. We sometimes don't understand grief and battle to even connect with those who have lost loved ones. Join me in this podcast episode chatting to Rakhi Beekrum a private practice psychologist based in Durban North. She works with couples, individuals, and corporates and is committed to eliminating mental health stigma. We discuss grief and loss in detail and talk about the stages of grief to the coping mechanisms, as well as talking about how to better connect with a friend or a family member when they have lost their loved one.

In the end, this episode is just to say that I am so grateful to everyone who listened and supports me, this podcast would not be anything if it weren't for my amazing listeners.
