A new, limited series podcast interviewing workers in the arts world to see how the Coronavirus situation and related restrictions has affected them and their work.
Misha is an actress and creative producer, with experience in a range of roles across the creative industries. Most recently, as an actor, Misha starred in an episode of The End series with Maureen Beattie, Elaine Stirrat and Titana Muthui. Misha is currently working with GMAC’s Little Pictures filmmaker Helen Cuinn to shoot and produce her self-portrait documentary The Queens Speech and has several films in development with creative collaborator Catriona Macleod. Their first film HOWL won Best Micro Short at Phoenix Film Festival. Misha works with Compact Pictures as development and communications coordinator and supported John McKay in producing Zinnie Harris’s debut short film ‘A Glimpse’ which won the Short Drama award at Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Misha has experience working in tv and advertising with BBC, STV Creative and MTP and in filmmaking with Lothian Films, Middle M Productions and Bryan M Ferguson, making award winning shorts for SFTN, Sharp Shorts and Channel 4 RANDOM ACTS. In theatre and live arts production, she is an associate producer with the international Full Moon Cabaret, has supported comedian Stuart Goldsmith and produced Denis Nikolin – Russian Comedian’s UK tour. Misha was co-Producer of Persistent and Nasty, producing 100 podcast episodes and an events programme that championed women and gender spectrum people in the stage and screen industries. She also worked with Scottish Drama Training Network as Programme Coordinator, facilitating workshops and events to enhance drama provision in Scotland. Misha is a keen activist for equality. She is passionate about reaching underrepresented voices and helping Scotland’s theatre, film and TV industries to become even more diversely representative and accessible to all.

Des is an actor, stage host, part time comedian and full time nerd.
Having graduated Queen Margaret University, Des has travelled over Scotland and the UK to host panels at comic conventions, done 2 one man shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has been known as a Ghostbuster and a founder of the Ghostbusters of Scotland, a fan franchise that has raised money for charities like SAMH AND CHAS. Des will be launching his podcasts, Ash and Des Remember and The Small Rouge One (recorded with his friend Ash Pryce), very soon and will be recording his show, Win The Internet (recorded with his friends Ash Pryce and Kenny Boyle) very soon.

Jen McGregor is a writer, dramaturg and director, trained at Mountview and mentored by Rob Drummond through PSS. Her play Heaven Burns won the 2018 Assembly Roxy Theatre Award. Writing credits include Volante (Hothouse @ Traverse, EMSF, Tom McGrath award), Canto X (Manipulate 2020), and Screech (Stellar Quines’ Make Do & Mend). Rachel Macpherson-Graham is a Scottish Actor and Singer from Glasgow. She obtained a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from Motherwell College going on to train at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she received a Masters in Musical Theatre. In training she appeared as Little Red Riding Hood, Lady Macbeth and the Baker’s Wife. Since graduating she has been involved in a variety of different projects appearing as Nancy Maclehose (Ae Fond Kiss, Scottish Theatre Tour, Nonsenseroom Productions), Manda (Those Worrisome Sleeps, Fringe Production, RFT Theatre), Faery Queen/Morgana (Quest for Excalibur, Promenade Children’s Theatre, Theatre Alba) and Jean Armour (Wee Sleikit Cow’rin Timrous Beastie, Scottish Tour, Fizzgig Theatre). Rachel shadowed the direction during a season of Bard in the Botanics and has gone on to direct numerous productions since. Rachel is also part of the Comedy Sketch group Scram who have a residency at the Stand Comedy Club and is one half of the comedy podcast 'Debating Dating'. She has also appeared in the Radio Play series 'l'histoire' which is also available to listen to on podcasting platforms.

Emma Lynne Harley is a queer, working-class theatre maker and director from Dunfermline who has worked across Scotland, the UK and internationally, and trained at Queen Margaret University and the National Theater Institute (USA). They work as a director, performer, cabaret artist, writer, stage manager, and more. Her theatre company, Siren, is part of the Gaiety Theatre’s New Scottish Companies Programme and is currently developing the gig-theatre show Text Me When You Get Home. They are currently an attached artist with the Lyceum’s L20 programme, and recently assistant directed Mark Ravenhill’s autobiographical play Angela for the Lyceum Sound Stage.

Jangler of Rickenbackers for Marshall Chipped, thrasher of telecasters for PopArt, and strummer of acoustics for Furory Ceilidh Band, David Burns has been a professional musician for the last fifteen years. He’s played everywhere from supporting Art Brut and The Posies, to highland weddings, to street corners as a busker. He’s currently trying to adjust to playing in front of just a computer screen and his cat.

Tessa Asquith-Lamb is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University and works as an artist/printmaker specialising in etchings that combine her love of Victorian folk art, her friends and foxes. She also works as a freelance art educator for the City Art Centre, The National Galleries of Scotland and the V&A Dundee. Three of her richly narrative artworks were recently bought for the national collection of the City Art Centre Edinburgh.

Kenny trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is a recipient of Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland’s New Playwrights’ award 2021.
