You will notice that in the 7 episodes of the Second Avenue Boys you NEVER hear an adult voice. Lucas and Miles had to carry the entire load of all the jokes, the songs, the stories and the poems as well as doing some of the recording engineering. In this final episode they also play guitar, song flute and sing the vocals for the theme song for Second Avenue Labs (a family company) latest product.

THE MAKING OF THE SECOND AVENUE BOYS PODCAST
This podcast is a learning experience for these two 1st Graders.
Recording the podcast gives them practice at reading with fluency and expression, basic microphone skills and comedic timing. With Episode #6 they've gotten more involved with story lines, studio foley arts and special sound effects. In addition the boys are taking over some engineering duties at the TASCAM 2488 mixing console.
All music is composed and recorded especially for this podcast. In future episodes we plan for Miles and Lucas to be more involved in the creation of the background music.
It's amazing what a couple kids can do when they are given the opportunity!
