We talk all things naming character conventions and ways to get creative, writing in collaboration, and via exploration of Windfall and Forgive me explore what it takes to make audio awesome. Bob is aso a busy dialogue editor and as I'm working on OZ9 as the dialogue editor, we chatted on some top tips for folks in this vital role, of the building of troughs and peaks, great timing, murder boards, getting folks to care about your characters and more! We also explored the excitement of creating a crossover with Amelia Project, and wotk with the brilliant Greate Boston team, and what it was like to be in those fantastic writers' rooms.

Well, first, like, this sketch is over 4 mins long - I am just trying to practice my creativity in these things but there is a gentle learning element to them all - this time - CONFUSING GENRES - YAY OR NAY?! This Indie AF explores mental health issues in creatives and the superbly inspiring Ester Ellis (She / Her) candidly talks about working and creating through bi-polar episodes and times of depression and mania. But! She has found ways to manage the struggle and create such audio gems, and we celebrate some of her works put out into this wonderful world that you - yes you - can listen to right now.
If you too are struggling, remember Ester’s wise words - 'There’s some gold I can spin out of this…there is good that can come from this…’. There is a lot of positive talk in this episode about creating and understanding mental illness working with and inside and around creativity, and the importance of building a team of folks who can help and understand your own different creative phrases.

Bright Sessions was one of the many shows that drew me in to the medium as an avid listener and I COULD NOT WAIT til each new drop of an epiosde back in the day. SO MUCH has happened since, for Lauren and all of those listeners she inspired now making AF. Huzzahs to the shows she has created.
