Welcome back to the third episode of the Ponder On That podcast with Saffron King! Today, we are so excited to be chatting with Claudeen Guillaume, a production coordinator at DreamWorks Animation, about career choices, networking, and most importantly, resiliency.
In this episode, Claudeen will talk a bit about herself and how she ended up in the television and animation industry. Claudeen will also share her advice for others trying to make it in the industry, which includes keeping an open mind and not being afraid to try new things, networking, and, of course, staying true to yourself. We’ll also discuss the importance of being resilient, trying your best to see the positive in a rejection letter, and focusing on your wins instead of your losses. Last but not least, Claudeen will remind us to always celebrate the seemingly small things in life, not to compare yourself to others, and to make sure you enjoy your journey. We hope this inspires you to pursue the career of your dreams, whatever that may be! Enjoy!

Welcome back to the second episode of the Ponder On That podcast with Saffron King! Today, it is a pleasure to be chatting with Colette Johnson, an entrepreneur and a business strategy manager at NBCUniversal. Colette is a co-founder of The PS Collective, an online marketplace geared to help women find clothing that fits and flatters their figure using artificial intelligence to be able to understand and extract women’s measurements.
In this episode, Colette will talk about The PS Collective’s variety of followers and supporters and the inspiring women she’s met along the way. She’ll also talk about body confidence versus being comfortable with your body, the rigid sizes that many clothing companies continue to stick to, and the way in which the consumer often feels responsible when clothes don’t fit properly rather than the brand or designer. Saffron and Colette will also discuss body dysmorphia and how social media filters, influencers, and companies contribute to this condition that affects many young people. Last but not least, Colette will share a bit about her work and experience at NBCUniversal. Enjoy!

Hello lovelies and welcome to the very first episode of Ponder On That! We are so honoured to kick off the podcast with Alison Cope who will be talking to us about losing her beloved son, British rapper Joshua Ribera (a.k.a. Depzman), to knife crime. Since losing her son at the age of 18, Alison has worked with many organizations and people to share his inspirational life story and the reality of his devastating death in order to break down the myths surrounding youth violence.
In this episode, Alison will share what happened on the night Joshua was stabbed back in 2013, the emotional rollercoaster she was going through at the time, and how she dealt with her son’s death being recognized by thousands of people online. Alison will also touch on what her life was like after losing Josh including supporting numerous friends and fans who adored him, dealing with a murder trial, and organizing a funeral that turned into a public event. Last but not least, Alison will tell us about standing by her son and his music, the way society views young people who lose their lives to violence, and the work she is doing today – including the work she hopes others will partake in - to prevent and demystify youth violence.
