Featuring Talia's husband, Sam! Talia and Sam have been through military deployments, chasing dreams together, and have moved around every year for the last six years! Throughout their relationship, they have endured mental, physical, spiritual, and many other types of growth independently AND together! Listen in to hear what growth in a relationship can look, feel, and be like. To learn more about Sam and his life, read below!
Sam grew up moving every couple of years, but found himself in Charlotte, NC where he completed his undergraduate degree in Criminology at UNCC. On graduation day when his classmates were walking the stage, Sam opted out of the graduation ceremony to take his aptitude test to become a US Naval Officer at the local recruiter's office instead. He would go on to become a commissioned US Naval Officer and serve two tours while on active duty. During his time in the fleet he was an electrical safety officer, a main propulsion officer, and finally a chief engineer. On his final assignment he was responsible for the entire engineering department of a guided missile cruiser which is made up of about 100 sailors. Sam eventually got out of the Navy in 2019, with the rank of Lieutenant. After being honorably discharged, Sam took a year and a half to pursue playing golf professionally. He played in multiple professional tournaments across the east coast before the 2020 pandemic eventually put a stop on all sanctioned professional sporting events. At this time Sam shifted focus to another passion of his, motorsports! We packed up and moved together to pursue a career with a NASCAR team. At that time, Sam learned, and eventually took charge, of the powertrain installation of a NASCAR race car. However after just over a year, the ocean breeze was calling to us, so we decided to answer the call.
After making a family decision; we realized it was time to come back to Florida, and combine his skill of engineering, leadership, and the sea; where Sam would land a job as a superyacht manager in South Florida. Behind the scenes while working as a technical superintendent on superyachts, Sam was completing his Masters degree in the little spare time he had after working hours. And after many long nights in front of a computer, he is now a proud graduate of George Washington University, with a Masters Degree in Engineering Management. Sam and Talia live happily with their GSD, Brixy, and spend their free time at the ocean, with friends, and enjoying the sunshine state of mind!

...and that's why Talia is rebranding!
The Name "Tal's Tips" is Short & Sweet...BUT...The process of changing your life is certainly NOT. Listen into this eye-opening episode to hear what Tal's upcoming rebrand is all about...
Tal’s Tips isn’t just "tips". In fact, its barely tips at all. Tips are short term, little fragments of information, inspiration, or tiny helpful strategies to gain results… and honestly, Tal is doing way more than that with her clients.
Over 2.5 years of coaching 100+ souls, Tal’s Tips is way more than just giving quick tips and tricks to create a better life.
Tal’s Tips has and continues to guide, coach, mentor and lead ambitious women towards their souls purposes'; Tal's community has allowed a safe, sacred space for her clients to call home; for them to discover who they are, what they want, and how to create from those places, authentically and unapologetically.
But the name itself, "Tal’s Tips" indicates things being short and sweet. But, the process of life coaching that she takes her clients through, is NOT.
To Tal, change isn't short or sweet. That’s not how true, authentic change is created. Using the business name “Tal’s Tips” is false advertising for what Talia does. That name, is a false sense of working with Tal looks, feels, and brings to this world. Talia regrets nothing, but its time for a change in business, life, and mindset moving forward... Therefore, it's all changing. It's morphing. It's rebranding and up-leveling. Stay tuned for more details dropping in the coming weeks!

Not only has Tal had to define this question for herself, but she's also been able to help her life coaching clients define it for themselves too. This question is: "Is it your intuition? Is it your natural ability to discern? Is it God's inner knowing inside of you? Or... Is it your anxiety, fear, or lack/fixed mindset? Tal explores her personal experience within this episode and shares her personal opinion on how to find this answer out for yourself. Tal's mission is to help ask the hard questions so that you can find your true answer within. You're going to identify which one is taking over your life: your intuition or your angst. Listen in and explore this topic for yourself!

When your affirmations aren’t memorized, your journal isn’t near by, or your meditation app (that you swear by) isn’t accessible because your phone is on 3%… What do you do?! When you need to remember who the heck you are, what is your remedy to grounding yourself? What do you do when your tools aren’t near or accessible in times of angst, darkness, or stress? Tal gives you the tools to stress less in your life by actually defining “stress” and releasing the hold it has on our personal growth. Tal shares her personal approach to releasing the box that stress has us locked in and discusses ways to unlock the power of “calm” instead of always going to "chaos" mode in our brains. Whenever change happens (constantly), we have a choice as to how to perceive it. We have control of what we give importance to or emphasis to. Perception is key. Charity Haney, founder of Yoga Nook Northside, E-RYT 200, YACEP, Certified Grief Yoga Guide, Warriors at Ease Level 1 Certified, Restorative Yoga Certified
Charity came to yoga while serving in the US Navy. She experienced a terrible divorce and was transferred to move without her two children. An avid runner, she logged an obscene number of miles trying to combat the stress and heartache which beat up her body more and only gave short periods of mental relief. When she began yoga, she noticed that she began to feel peace. She kept going back. Later she realized that instead of literally trying to run away from her problems and pushing her physical yoga practice to the edge it was the internal peace, gratitude, and self-acceptance she found in yoga that really gave her life back to her.
Her military retirement brought her physical disabilities to the forefront and she since has fallen in love with practicing and teaching more mindful practices that really allow her and her students to feel how the body feels in each pose. Creating a safe space, accessible to all and guiding her students to develop the connection back to the self is the most important aspect of her teaching.
Yoga Nook Northside, a yoga studio on the Northside of Jacksonville. Their studio welcomes EVERYONE! There is no one way to move our bodies and there is no one stereotype to who can do yoga and their studio is proving that daily. The Nook is a safe and unique space for students to explore their bodies, the way they move, the way they don’t, and to learn to accept all of that! Some might wonder, if given the opportunity to do it all over again, pandemic and all, would she? 100% YES! Yoga Nook Northside is a Veteran-owned, safe, student-centered, creative space where you are encouraged to explore the power of yoga as it pertains uniquely to YOU. Whether you are a curious beginner looking to lessen stress, an advanced student looking to explore more about yoga and yourself, injured and wanting safe ways to work powerfully through recovery and keep your mental state, or anything in between you’ve found your hOMe. This short & sweet episode is with your host, Talia Mervosh! Tal discusses a concept she dives deep into inside her "Rebirth" program all about self-worth...the concept of "Pedestal Placing" Who are you putting on a pedestal in your life? Who are you thinking is above you? Below you? What does your worth depend on? Is it status, wealth, body-image, etc? Tal explains that we all have self-doubt and we all fall into placing others on a pedestal in life. However, we must take out the pedestal and level the playing field in our minds so that we can move forward to become the woman we were meant to become. Tal describes how to level the pedestal in such a realistic yet touching way for all listeners to take immediate action! Listen in & take some notes because you are not going to want to miss this episode!

John Bros was born and raised on the Treasure Coast of Florida, where he grew up with a love for fishing and playing hockey. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Social Science Education, followed by a year in Thailand teaching English. Since August 2015, he's taught 10th grade World History back in his hometown. In August 2020, John self-published his book, The Personal Wellness Principles: Simple Steps to Create a Happy, Healthy, and Fulfilling Life. Today he is building his life coaching business and creating speaking opportunities pertaining to self- development and emotional intelligence. He's also very passionate about permaculture, and works with a friend propagating edible plants & fruit trees, and installing edible landscapes and fruit forests. Bros' book, "The Personal Wellness Principles: Simple Steps to Create a Happy, Healthy, and Fulfilling Life," released Aug. 28, 2020, gives insight into finding a person's emotional intelligence. Bros said in the world of life coaching, the meaning of emotional intelligence varies from client to client. “The idea is that the client gets to a point of self-discovery and gets to a point where they are able to accomplish and attain those future things they are looking for by making changes right now,” he said. We Are Kacie & Jess - Find us on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/happyhost_eventinaboxco/
Friends Turned Sisters-In-Law Turned Co-Owners Of Happy Host - Event In A Box Co. Happy Host started as a casual conversation in the kitchen about what we wanted to do with our lives. Kacie, event planner extraordinaire & creative mastermind, wanted to do something that would pair both her artistic side and her event planning experience. Jessica, theme queen & lover of all things festive, wanted to do something that would pair her unique ability to group themed items together and her desire to bring joy to people's lives. A month later, we dove in headfirst and haven't looked back {okay, maybe we have a time or two ; ) } After talking about the vision for our brand, we quickly decided that we wanted to bring joy to people {HAPPY} in the form of convenient, pre-planned event boxes {HOST}. And just like that, she had a name. Our hope is to change the way you think about hosting events. With our boxes, we will make sure you feel confident setting up, hitting the grocery store & throwing a carefree, fun event from start to finish. Our journey has been full of highs and lows but after many years of sitting on business ideas and watching OTHER people live out their dreams, we decided it was our time to jump in. We now fully believe in the statement “do it scared” and will forever encourage anyone that has an idea or a dream to do the same. You never know what is waiting on the other side of saying “YES”!

Kelly is a Business & Mindset Coach, Reality TV Celeb, and small town girl from "the 'Ville", who is on a mission, through vulnerability and raw storytelling, to inspire, motivate, and empower women to create the life they crave! Kelly combines business strategy + mindset coaching to help single female entrepreneurs overcome burnout, reconnect to Self and master their self worth. As we release, redefine, and rise, we will receive all that we desire! Kelly has been through her own journey of challenges from weight gain/loss and body image, to being $30K in debt and manifesting the money to pay it off in under 2 years; to not honoring her boundaries when it came to love & relationships, losing herself, and rediscovering who she was again. Furthermore from burnout and anxiety to once & for all resigning from the "9-5" world. Kelly's mantra is "let go of what is no longer serving you to create space for new, for peace, happiness and joy".
