As I've been re-reading the book of Joshua I continue to find such good and Godly stories that can help us today operate with better discernement in the Kingdom of God.
Today, we look at Joshua 10 and see a great lesson for us as well as a warning.
Today I'm sharing a moment with Jesus. So, just come into my space and I think He is speaking a "thing" that will help us all discern well our seasons, help us get into the proper lanes, and remain faithful to what He is doing in this hour.
At times, it can be confusing to know the will of God but I really think we often overlook what, and how, the Holy Spirit is actively already at work helping us.
During our last meeting the Lord had prepared a message about the faith of a child.
It was something He was walking me personally through during my 2 week vacation but I didn't really know at the time.
I felt it was a message that needs to out to our podcast listeners as well.
When was the last time your eyes sparkled at the thought of Jesus? Do you remember when your faith was like a child when you first came to Him? Before the pain of life, the abuses, the betrayals?
God reminded me of so much for this little lesson and it is my belief that He wants us to return to the faith of a child.
Shelbie Donelson who is the Women's Director of the Bethel House with New Creation Foundation joined me today in the studio.
You will receive such a blessing as she shares her story of addiction, homelessness, and how all the while, "There was Jesus."

I think often God has gifted us with unique creativity that we some how deem less significant in the body of Christ. Yet, it is not true.
God is stirring up creativity in this season and it is a matter of His nature, the Creator, Himself.
Let's move forward as Kingdom artisans and fulfill that which He purposefully placed within us.
On my walk today the Lord just dropped a sweet nugget in my heart for you.
Many in the body of Christ feel stuck but I am finding that God has a way about Himself that helps us recognize the shift He is making.
The main problem He has had to walk me through is recognizing that shift.
Sometimes that shift is not what I expected to happen.
I have learned the power of a heartfelt "I'm Sorry" where humility, and honesty, usher in a powerful healing oil.
It remedies many, many heart pains.
Many breaches in the body could be mended with an honest heart sharing and a very humble, and often tearful, "I'm sorry."
Some of you don't realize that your warfare has been because you are one of God's ground breakers.
He has entrusted to you a serious, yet hard, job in the Kingdom.
While today He does give us a bit of a warning, He also gives us encouragement to stay in the fight.
You are a critical piece in God's Kingdom plan and you are helping break new ground for the generations coming behind us.
Jesus has given us a job. One of pushing back darkness, setting captives free, and binding up the broken hearted.
Today we talk about giving our "YES" to become one of Hell's Most Wanted and wading into the waters of Isaiah 61.
Are you ready??????????
I was not going to talk about this until much later until the providence of God made me run right into the scriptures last week. It sent me on a hunt to understand what it indeed means to "be sealed" with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption.
While I don't feel this is the entire conversation that is necessary, today we simply look at "being sealed."
Commitment is so central to this life with Christ. Every season brings new commitments and sometimes more or less of them as well. One thing never changes no matter the season and that is our commitment to the person of Christ and our relationship with Him.
Let's talk through some things together and take a good look at our own lives when it comes to commitment.
Let us grow in Christ Jesus more and more.
Sometimes we find ourselves in the belly of a fish just like Jonah. Maybe we don't even know we are there. But there's some good things that God is working on in that dark place.
In prayer this morning the Lord placed a phrase in my heart, "When you hide..." I knew He was about to give me a writing for today's show.. I felt strongly it was going to be a now word for someone or someone(s).

For awhile now God has been stirring in me of coming shifts. I've known we were about to do a NEW thing. Sometimes, you have to wait on it.
I've had excitement, expectation, and joy but just like everyone else a little restlessness at the same time.
Last night, today's message was changed from what I was planning to take a deep dive into Isaiah 43:19 as once again the Lord placed it before me.
I think you will be encouraged:)

Let's dig deep into Deuteronomy 32:11-12 and take a look at what might be happening when things go a bit haywire in our lives:)
As an eagle stirs up it's nest,
Hovers over it's young,
Spreading out it's wings, taking them up,
Carrying them on it's wings,
So the LORD alone led him.
And there was no foreign god with him.
We often are so zealous to get to some final destination when it comes to our destiny and purpose. However, the Kingdom of God moves in seasons and we must learn to go from assignment to assignment.
God is working day by day during every step we make. Are we recognizing Him in our midst?
This is a quick little tidbit that was on my heart while driving to my grands this past week. It seems so basic but we seem to often forget that we need to always be willing to "Go where the wind blows..."
There is a good, and Godly, need to guard our hearts. Some seasons more than others. There are also several scenarios that would warrant being super diligent at guarding your heart.
As we navigate life's seasons, we are called to not be unwise of the devil's schemes. Let's get armoured up in this area so we can walk powerfully and freely into that which Christ has called us into.
This morning the Lord stirred in me a writing about The Giants. It was eye opening as He helped me navigate in prayer and what He had in store for our live 320 Lunch Break today.
As we advance the Kingdom we must stay mindful that we will each face giants that come to derail, delay, or destroy us. Yet, every circumstance He enters into with us helping us walk it out.
We seem to think the land God gives us will be an easy transition when it is, in essence, more like a hostile takeover whereby giants will have to be evicted.
Let's talk about it...
Knowing God's voice is critical in this walk with Jesus. As He commands us to assignments and directions, we must be careful before allowing other opinions to move us off of our assigned post. Likewise, we must be so careful when our voices are lending a hand to others as well. We surely do not want to move them off of God's plan for their lives.
Today, we will look at a couple times in scripture where people listened to the wrong voices and it was costly.
We will also talk about some practical ways to walk wisely into divine endeavors.
Today we look at the treasures hidden in 1 Peter 5.
When we are in a trial it can be difficult to find the strength to endure. However, this passage might be what you need to light a fire again in your heart.
Jesus is not leaving you or forgetting where you are. He is working an incredible work with what the devil sent to destroy you.
Let's talk about it:)
I am so mindful of broken hearts in suffering seasons. It is our way of life here in the ministry. However, we must become better at handling with care those who need to be comforted in any season of pain.
Today we walk through how to meet people in their pain.
Over my years I've just barely begun to understand better the sciptures noted in 1 Corinthians 1:27 which says, "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty..."
Today I talk about some of those things mentioned in the scriptures as well as real life examples I've seen Christ do in my own life and ministry.
The next writing in The View from the Watchtower is a discussion on Godly friendship. How to not take them for granted and how to be a better God-honoring friend.
As we look into the beautiful friendship of David and Jonathan we find that truly a brother is born for adversity.
There are seasons where we need brothers and sisters willing to get into the fight with us as the adversary comes to kill, steal, or destroy. Times when no matter how strong in the Lord we are, we need the help of those who love us to come stand with us. Times when we weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn.
In these moments we see that, truly, love never fails and good, Godly friendships were meant to be treasured gifts from God.
Today we look at the book of Nehemiah and get beautiful glimpses of the faithfulness of a great leader.
From the moment he received a burden of the Lord to opposition in the rebuilding of the wall, Nehemiah remains faithful.
This life with Christ is full and robust. There are lovely facets and deep waters. The fullness of your drinking of and from His cup will be a critical element on your journey.
Watch out for lazy rivers that lull you to a sleep that will cause you to miss out on the wonders in the deep.
It's time to report for duty:)
There are seasons where God will begin to remove all manner of dead weight from your life. This can be people, places, or things. It can even be within the realm of assignments from the Lord and what He is setting before us in any given season.
It can also be in the way or emotional baggage that He needs and desires to shift in us.

It is a weighty responsibility to be entrusted with broken hearts. If Jesus is near to the brokenhearted then I need to be very careful how I handle their tender hearts or I can cause more harm than good.
Today we look at Psalm 34:18 and dig deeper into it's meaning so that we can get a good view of the heart of Christ when it comes to caring for the broken.

Leadership is a beautiful gifting that is so valuable in the Kingdom of God but we mustn't be in a hurry for it.
If God has placed a leading gift in you, He will walk you through a process to prepare you.
Much happens within leadership that goes unseen. It can be full of joy yet full of hardship. There are many practical tasks within a leadership role as well as spiritual tasks. Both are necessary.
If God is raising you up as a leader you need to understand it is not for the faint of heart and glamour will be far from you.
The greatest leaders serve well, and faithfully, when no one is watching.
There are times it is good to die to a dignity that comes strickly from ourselves rather than from God. Today we look at some scriptures and stories that show us why it's an area to get a good glimpse of as I also share some personal moments from The View from the Watchtower that I've experienced where I've had to die to dignity.
Fear is what we are taking down today friends.
We each will face many fears in our lives. It doesn't matter how long you've been walking with Christ, you'll have to contend with fear again and again.
But the Lord has given us so much in His word regarding fear. So let's look together as I share some personal fears I've had to walk through over my own life.
It was fitting I would turn to today's writing and it be my life verse, Ephesians 3:20.
I need this message,Empty Your Hands.
I had to talk myself into obedience to do the live show today.
Sometimes, it's just like that. Obedience only.
Yet I know, in the Lord's kindness, obedience does bring blessings and I dare not miss out on that:)
Yesterday I received a new song from the Lord that really stirred up this message and the many facets of waiting on the Lord.
It's a season we often do not enjoy yet there are promises offered to us should we choose to surrender to it.
It is so important to know who you are and what season you are in. Otherwise you might end up wearing clothes that are not meant for you.
We will talk about David preparing to slay Goliath and how we should also be confident enough to know when others are trying to "dress us" or we are "choosing for ourselves" the garments Christ has tailor made just for us.
So let's talk dig in and see if you need to "change your clothes."

We read much in the scriptures about death. Crucifying the flesh, to die is to gain, death is working us.
But what does that mean?

The show airs LIVE on Wednesdays at 12 Noon CST.

As we challenge one another in this walk with Christ, we now head into a discussion on personal idols. This can be from our past cultural experience, our current behaviors, people who speaker louder than Christ in our lives, and more.
Either way we end up walking into spiritual adultery knowingly or unknowingly. So, let's dig into this with open hearts and gladly remove all idols from their thrones today.
Let's spend some time trying to discern well the time to speak or the time to be silent season.
With some real life examples I'll share how Christ helped me to know which He desired in what seemed like unfair situations.
We can also look at the scriptures and see a few example that Jesus, Himself, left us to chew on.
All I can say is out of the sabbatical has come some inner healing work of my own as well as sweet direction of the Lord.
For those of you needing the raw truth of struggle that this walk with Christ can be....here.you.go........
We all reach a point one day where we wonder if we have what it takes to continue on into certain assignments. I'm going to give you an inner look into what me and Jesus had to work through during my time away and how you, too, can expect this kind of soul struggle to also arise in your own walk with Christ.
In essence Jesus will call you away when it's time to indeed, "Worry bout your own self."
God moves often in seasons and assignments. It is critical to keep in step with Holy Spirit to know when a season has ended and we might need to change a few rooms.
If we find ourselves people-pleasing or walking in fear, we might stay in a place that isn't God's plan for our lives.
Let's talk about reasons we might not change rooms when necessary as I heard the Lord say before airing that He was about to, " Uproot feet and move them to the streets."

It is not too hard to abandon the call of God if we aren't careful. The cares of the world can quickly come a calling and detour our attention from that which Christ has entrusted to us.
As we will read in scripture today, Paul encourages Archippus to complete the ministry he has received in the Lord.
You'll have to learn to guard the call just like guarding your time with Christ. It take diligence to keep awake in a world that is also always calling.

We are God's masterpiece which means we are a "work created by God" for unique and specific good works prepared ahead of time. We were designed as an "authentic original" vessel of and for God. So why do we often choose to be a mere imitation?

Hello friends,
Over the last few weeks God has been speaking to my heart about rest. For this reason, I've decided this will be our last 320 Podcast for the 2024 year.
I believe God is readying us for what's coming and it's important to pay close attention. As I've received a call for a couple of weeks at the end of the year to "Come away," maybe consider it for yourselves.
This month can be a great one for rest and renewal if you'll let it. I pray my transparency somehow encourages you in your own walk as I share, today, my own heart and need for rest and the many scriptures God gives us regarding this subject.
See you in 2025:)
Shelly
It wasnt until half way through the recording of this podcast episode that I realized the title. I honestly was just going to have a little heart to heart.
But...God seems to have so much in His heart for His Church in this season to advance her.
You'll see as I did the unfolding of Isaiah 54:2. Such a lovely scripture to swallow:)
As God has had me now in the book of Isaiah, I came across a verse I've seen before. It took my breath away the first time God led me to it.
Today it seems fresh again for some of you hearts in need of understanding of what God might be doing in your current season.
I pray this helps you as we look at Isaiah 50:4 together a little deeper.
This idiom came out of my mouth while I was in prayer and I immediately thought of 2 Kings 13 where Elisha is instructing the King of Israel to strike the ground with his bow and arrow until there was a sure destruction.
Yet, he seemed to have stopped short of a full victory.
Maybe this is often us as well? Let's talk about striking while the iron is hot.
I was walking over the weekend with the Lord when I began talking to Him about a topic in the middle of a mess. It brought so much to mind that I felt it would be good to share our dialogue.
I pray it encourages you if you find yourself in the middle of a mess.
Mark 5:41 gives an account of Christ raising a little girl back from the dead.
While looking deeper into this passage we find so much more that can speak to each of us. God is accomplishing many things while healing the little girl in the big girl and the process is one that creates stability and firm foundations. He is building and birthing something within you and I while also bringing us back to life.
If you've listened to the past few podcasts you already know I've been reading through the book of Jeremiah.
While pouring my heart out before the Lord in regards to some of the passages, He asked me a most tender question. I actually wasn't expecting it but it was so clear I couldn't miss it.
Maybe you need to hear what I heard so you can also have peace in your trying moments with Christ. The Holy Spirit is here to help us. He doesn't leave us all on our own.
I hope this encourages you as much as it did me.
Personally, God had to walk this out with me lately. Very lately. I felt I should share this snare with you so you can also have help as you navigate seasons with Christ.
Often we do not realize we think we are "all in" but we really are not.
Let's talk about it:)
Sometimes we enter into a "thing" with an expectation of what it might look like. When all the while the assignment has more to do with something else entirely.
This came into my heart while driving this past weekend. We must learn to hold all things loosely with Christ so that when we find ourselves in the middle of an unexpected "work" we will be able to surrender fully to it rather than be dissapointed by it.
Today we're going to talk about the importance of being focused and staying focused for the Kingdom work entrusted to us.
After last week's message, Take the Step, the Lord put His finger in my own heart to "take my own medicine."
He reminded me of a passage in Joshua He has been ever so quietly whispering to me for months. However, I know it will be for some of you as well.
I hope it brings you confirmations, as well as encouragement.

In prayer today the Lord brought back to my mind a writing He gave me called, With Every Step. As I broke open the scriptures I began to consider the lepers who were healed.
Digging into it a bit more left me with such an unction to share what I felt God might want to say to us. I pray it offers breakthrough to some and encourages you to trust Him in the next step.

It is such a wonderful adventure to study a matter out in the scriptures. You begin to see how often the Lord is making a thing important to Him.
Embedded in the scriptures were not just plenty on the fear of the Lord but I began to see that there were also many benefits noted that perhaps we might have missed in our reading.
God's Word is a deep treasure to be found friends:)

One of our ladies brought us a message in our Equipped class orchestrated by the Lord that linked to the fear of the Lord. It led us into a very deep and transparent discussion.
The next day God confirmed His message to many of us over and over again so I decided to begin studying the scriptures on the fear of the Lord.
Today I'm looking through Proverbs 1-3. We believe God is serious about this topic in this hour and are doing all we can to understand it better from His heart.

I wanted to continue the discussion on the writing the Lord gave me regarding "Sudden Endings." You'll have to forgive me because I was sick and recording this from bed last week. You'll also get a good look into my week with a blooper I just decided not to edit out. Welcome to my world:)In all seriousness, take a listen because I think this episode is going to encourage some of you who have also experienced sudden endings.--- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the320podcast/support
This past weekend I had a dream that utterly troubled me. I woke up with a heavy heart and a deep grief. I knew it was a warning dream. However, in God's kindness He warns.I called a friend to share it with her and she said to me, "Shelly, every believer needs to hear this dream." I believe God is trying to awaken us from our slumber so, today, I'm just sharing the prophetic dream that He gave me as a sounding of the alarm.May we rise to the high calling in this hour. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the320podcast/support
As I'm still reading through the book of Acts I came across the story of the slave girl who was following Paul around. As I was pondering the story God brought to my mind two other examples of hidden deception that are also recorded in the scriptures.
It is so wise for us to study the enemy. When you're in a battle it is a matter of wisdom to watch carefully, discern what spirit is at work, and also to be sure we ask for the counsel of the Lord.
Let's look together at those passages and see what we can learn for our "today" walk with Christ as we navigate this war with darkness.

I walked into my ministry building today sad over the state of the church. Sad over needless arguments. Sad over sin. Sad over deception. Just sad.
But as I began to stare at a picture a dear friend gifted me at Christmas, Christ began to stir inside of me as He reminded me who He was.
Maybe this will encourage you too.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.

I’ve been asked by several my thoughts on Jesus and women. I’ve also been asked lately if I’d write an article regarding women in leading roles within the church and my thoughts on the highly publicized vote regarding women in my former denomination, SBC.
My simplified response is, “This is a matter of gifting not gender. You can’t remove the shepherding gift from a woman any more than you can remove the shepherding gift from a man. It was given when He formed us in the womb and is simply part of who we are. ”
So, here goes a discussion with just some looks at the scriptures within the fullness of the Word, as well as some common sense points that might help us to understand Paul, and Christ, a little better.
Ultimately, we will each be held responsible for how we’ve navigated this topic because, honestly, it’s gotten quite hateful and void of the fruits of the Spirit.
We should each remember that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
added Note: I mention 4 daughters of the OT. They are daughters of Zelophehad and you can find them in Numbers 27 with vs 6 as a key verse:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “The daughters of Zelophehad speak what is right; you shall surely give them a possession of inheritance among their father's brothers, and cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.

I had decided to read through the book of Acts again. As I began to look into Acts 3 I found an encouraging message embedded in the meaning of the words in the gate called Beautiful.
It lined up so well with our recent studies on Ecclesiastes 3 and how God has been speaking so much to us here about "seasons."
Maybe it will encourage you also:)

Psalm 84:5-7 has been so beautiful to me for some time. Yet, Christ seems to bring it back up this past week.
The hidden pearls of this passage fall right in line with what we're learning about Eccl 3, Hosea 2:14-15, and other passages that seem to be His heart ministering to those in valley or wilderness seasons.
There are some hidden treasures within this passage that should keep giving us hope for any season we're in.
One significant gem is wrapped up in the phrase "passing through." A deeper look shows us it's not just a passing through... but a crossing over.
Can we all say "Hallelujah" to that!!!!!

This past week a dear friend and spiritual mom went home to be with Jesus.
I've been reflecting on how God placed her in my life exactly at the right time to walk with me through a valley, to pull out of me the gifts I didn't know I had, and to help me become who I was formed to be.
I pray that as I share how her calling helped prepare me for mine, you will see that you, too, can leave this earth with a Kingdom legacy that has indeed touched many lives.

Each day has held the most beautiful moments as I've watched Him touch the lives of many hearts in unique ways.
I simply want to share some small moments that have blessed my own heart so much over the last few weeks so you, too, can learn to keep in step with the spirit of God.

I had spent some time off last week leaning into the Lord. As I was watching a movie they began to speak Ecclesiastes 3. My ears perked up so I went to look again at this passage.I have felt the Lord stir regarding a shift of seasons yet I was able to ponder my various seasons in light of this passage.Looking within these precious words I could see each verse that has played out in various seasons of my own life. Perhaps it will give us comfort knowing there is a God who has let us know ahead of time that to everything there is a season.--- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the320podcast/support
We discussed last night in our Equipped meeting that God always answers an honest cry. We had a beautiful time of Him breaking walls that had been made in our own hearts from one reason or another.Today I heard the Lord continue in the discussion in my own heart with the phrase, "The Walls My Heart Builds."He is wanting to help us drop our walls with Him. Some of our past experiences and even relationships have caused us to build walls not only keeping others out but Him out of what we think are hidden heart places. But Jesus sees them all and He inclines His heart to hear an honest cry.--- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the320podcast/support
There were times in my walk with God that I was always discontent. Sometimes it still tries to happen. The heart is so stubborn.
God dealt with me on missing the "here and now" always looking at things I didn't have, or what He was doing in someone else, or just always looking to some other place I thought I should be.Then I learned that there is no other place you and I want to be other than the very place we have been graced for.

Our last equipped meeting was shifted to this message. However, it seems I needed to circle back around a bit and perhaps say some things I didn't during our meeting.
We all go through suffering seasons. However, God wants to focus us on that which is learned in that valley place.
We will be looking at a passage about Christ in Hebrews that points to obedience learned in suffering.

Self-Control is likely one of the most needed fruits of the Spirit in the body of Christ today.
While the Holy Spirit gives lovely gifts of the Spirit and also our individual personalities, mannerisms, etc...sometimes we need to learn to "control yo-self"

I've just decided, as many others have, enough is enough and it's time to lift a voice to it.
Instead of blaming and shaming people for leaving our churches, using fear tactics and unbiblical memes to guilt people perhaps we are the problem. It's past time we consider the possibility.
Let's talk about what, or who, the church really is according to the scriptures. Let's also talk about our rationale behind some harmful things that happen daily within the walls of our own houses of worship.
Then let us face Jesus head on that He may strip us of all things that do not bring Him glory and honor.

I see many who struggle with accepting the reality of "what is."
Whether it's a marriage that ended or a life full of struggles you wish didn't exist, we can get stuck in the inability to accept reality.
The light of Jesus exposes all darkness and He is all about the truth of even our present reality.
Accepting the "what is" is very important for your heart healing.
Many fall in love with "potential" that ends up not being what we had hoped. If we stay in hopes of a thing that never changes after adequate effort, well, we become bound by "potential" because we are denying the reality of "what is."
This can include relationships, dreams, ministry endeavors, etc.
However, we can learn to be content in all things as Paul shares with us in Philippians 4 knowing that God is sovereign. In this place of rest we learn that waiting is still moving forward and every season is appointed for our ultimate good.

In all of my "unlearning" with the Lord this topic has been one of the most heartbreaking.
In my church upbringing was often quoted, "God hates divorce."
When God began to take me through all of the scriptures regarding divorce and the original language coupled with the culture of the day, dowry's of tradition, and marriage contracts and customs my heart broke as I realized we had sorely missed some critical things about His heart.
Many women have been abused with the scripture and forced to stay in abusive marriages, likewise many of my brothers quit preaching the gospel feeling like they were now disqualified due to a divorce. Listen, being married to one wife has nothing to do with divorce, but it is addressing the polygamy of the day. Be free in Jesus and get back to preaching.
Not every divorce is sin in and of itself. The "Why" is important but most of all we must relook at this passage and the full counsel of the Word to understand what God really hated...
This is not just for those who've been divorced but also for those who minister to people. This is a truth you can not afford to miss for the body of Christ.
So many should be set free to be all they were designed to be...
The blood of Jesus misses nothing, indeed.
Let's talk about it...

The Lord began to speak to me about Matthew 6:6 where it speaks of how He honors openly those who pray privately and I believe for some He is specifically calling you out of the caves very soon.As I prayed I saw a vision of the words ACTS 4 so I went to look it up. I was amazed that it was speaking parallel to what He has already been saying. Some of you will shock people after coming out of the isolation of the secret place where your heart was set on the right thing, Jesus alone. But now what you've done in secret will be made a beautiful "public spectacle" because others need to see what intimacy with Christ is really like and what it produces in a heart surrendered fully to Him.--- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the320podcast/support

The anointing of God follows the assignment of God. Often we find ourselves in the wrong position, role, place, etc. It is not really a small thing, honestly.
Just like in the secular world, we have unique giftings to fill certain roles. These are what I call God roles, not man's roles.
Today's 320 Podcast was recorded on the road, so enjoy riding with me:)
If you're a leader, then you'll likely not do well in a space where you can't be all Christ has designed you to be. While we can learn in many places and are equipped in many varying rooms, God has every intention of leading you to the place He has assigned you to. Be mindful that it can change from season to season.
If God isn't with me, then I'm not going, but I think I didn't always know how important this heart posture really was.
If I'm the wrong person for any team in a certain season, then I will hinder the anointing. God doesn't choose based on skill. He assigns the one anointed for "that" position. This is very clear in the scriptures.
We see it with Paul, Deborah, David, Esther, Elisha...etc.

Over the years, I often misunderstood some of God's ways.
I would be found wondering, "Is this it?" I always seemed to be trying to get "somewhere."

Often your "It" is self-limiting, and you do not realize that there is way more to your walk with Christ than that little ole "It."

We tend to be creatures of habit. Because of this, we tend to think God will do the same things again the same way, yet that is rarely the case.
He breaks our patterns, our traditions, and that which we have molded as the only way to do things.
I love to say, "God is the boss of me" but it's taken me many years, honestly, to let Him break my expectations, my schedules, and my control of things so that I can allow Him to accomplish what He desires in any season.

In the middle of walking with Christ and trying our best to go where we are to go, we often forget the truth of the matter. Being divinely marked means we need not strive, but abide. All manner of fear and insecurities rise to make us believe the lie that God has left us to our own devices.
Sometimes there's a hallway of waiting, and even that is a season divinely marked.
Let's talk about this little poem the Lord dropped into my Spirit this morning right before recording this podcast.
Divinely Marked
People come and go
And all good things must end
But if Christ is your King
Then all is left to Him.
When seems the rain has stalled
Praise Him in the hall
For the very Ancient of Days
Keeps us in His palm.
Fear not what lies ahead
He is the very Light
That shines upon your feet
And knows the time of flight.
If surrendered we truly are
Then settle our dear hearts
We're safe in His kind arms
Every step divinely marked.

It is a good idea to venture out of your "norm" with Christ. God mantles His people uniquely and specifically. Before our frame was visible, He saw us. He designed us for a mission. He knew exactly who we were to become. About 15 years ago, give or take, the LORD set up for me an amazing divine appointment. I was still working for a company in California, so I had to travel there for an annual corporate meeting. On today's 320 Podcast are my sweet guests and fellow dreamers Paula Rambo, Nancy Ludlum, and Jessica Gunter. Each one of these ladies joins me today to discuss the frustrating part of the process of dreaming with Jesus.
We often get the vision but do not expect the detours, waiting periods, and even the inner work Christ is doing in us. It can become frustrating at times to not understand the "who, what, or when."
Today is what we called an on-air counseling session meant to encourage them, as well as you.

If Heaven were hiring, would you be a viable candidate today? Much like the secular job market, Christ is looking for faithful and committed disciples that He can trust with His Kingdom plans.
Of course, salvation is a free gift, but the assignments stored up for us to accomplish here on earth do take good stewarding. Just like our past discussions on intentionality, we need to take a look at our commitment.
Are we trustworthy with, or to whom, God gives us? Do we honor His assignments as a top priority, or let everything else derail them?
Today's podcast is to self-reflect with honesty on how committed we really are or are not. May it sharpen us to become better disciples of Christ Jesus.

Often the Lord will ask you to do something that makes little sense in the natural. Years ago, He birthed a ministry that had some elements others didn't seem to agree with. They seemed silly to them. I had to stand firm in what He called me to do and how He called me to do it. At times, I was criticized for my methods, yet Jesus saved people and grew them in His grace. The fruit bore witness that it was surely Him.
You'll have to be okay swimming upstream sometimes. You'll have to also learn to nod kindly to critics while moving on with Jesus.
Decide now...that you are willing to be that crazy one pursuing Christ and all He has for you.

Last week, Shelly shared details about valleys and scriptures that the Lord has perfectly placed in His Word for us to glean from. This episode will dive into the vineyards spoken of in the passage in Hosea 2:14-15 and the Valley of Achor that is also noted. Perhaps you need to hear how a valley of trouble can be turned for your good and the good of others.

Hosea 2:14-15 tells us a secret about vineyards. The scriptures mention that they are found in the wilderness or valley. This scripture was a treasure for me to cling to during a dark season. It offers hope that there is something birthing in a suffering season, albeit hidden to the pained heart. I can testify to this truth. My suffering season birthed a new ministry that I never would have thought or imagined. The valley prepared me for a coming harvest that I did not yet see. He will do the same for you.

We believe you will be blessed with a deeper look into the heart of Christ and His true intent that day as He came to fill the needs of this woman.
The passage can be found in John Chapter 4 Verses 1-42.
