In today's episode I discuss how sexuality can be the access point for increased results in all areas of life, including finances, your marriage, parenting and more.
I had an interesting reaction recently while singing the song "I am a Child of God."
This is one of my favorite church songs, and always has been.
But as I sang it this time in church, I felt some wording that reminded me of the toxic shame that I'm escaping from.
Have a listen to this episode and let me know what you think.
Have you ever felt like a puppy begging for a Scooby Snack when you want to have sex with your wife?
Let's face it, more often than not, the woman controls the sexual dynamic in a relationship.
Either it's too late and she's tired, she has a headache, or she's 'just not feeling it' tonight.
In any case, this leaves you as a man feeling frustrated, helpless and lonely.
If this compounds month after month and year after year, you may being to wonder if there's any hope.
The first thing to realize is - you aren't alone.
That's the topic of today's episode.
Enjoy.

Have you ever felt like you're caught in a toxic loop with your spouse?
I have. Listen to today's episode to discover the root cause, and how you can escape the 'karmic cul-de-sac.'
Hello King and Priest. You might have noticed that I didn't release a podcast episode last week.
I was planning to, but I had a breakdown with Carly. In other words, we had a collision.
When this happened, all desire to publish an episode disappeared, it evaporated.
And here's the thing if you're up to something big - when you're up to something big, you'll be challenged, you'll be stretched.
And by "something big," I mean a life other than a life of default. If we keep living the way we're living now and doing what we're doing now, we can pretty much predict how our life will turn out.
Doing something big is going for a non-default outcome.
Now, if your relationship with your spouse is off, every other area of life will be affected.
Carly had told me that she didn't feel that I empathized with her. She said that she doesn't feel like I care. I was triggered because it hurts, it's painful to think that I try to be the best husband I can and I still fall short.
This threw me into an emotional tailspin.
And in this place, it took away all motivation to publish an episode. I felt like an imposter. How am I supposed to create a podcast about being a King and Priest when I can't even manage myself in my own marriage?
Well, I managed to get through it and here we are again. But here's what I want you to consider - a loss or deficiency in one area of your life affects all areas of your life.
And this is at the core of what it means to be a King and a Priest. We pick ourselves up off the ground and get on the horse again. This is the gift that Jesus Christ gives us, the gift to begin anew.
Now, last week we talked about the Systematic Sedation of men, in Episode 7. You discovered how over the past 200 years men have been trained, taught and educated that emotions are unhealthy and "feelings don't matter."
You discovered how the role of women and men has changed and now we're in an age of confusion where we're desperately trying to figure out, "where do I fit in."
Today we're going to talk about a discovery that I had that affected my marriage, my business and financial success, my health and fitness … everything in my life.
You see, when I dug down into my marriage problems, into my business problems, into my financial problems, into my crises of faith, into every problem in life I have … I discovered at the root of all of it are three main lies.
These three lies lie at the heart of my disconnection with my wife Carly.
They lie at the heart of limits on my financial success.
They lie at the heart of my disconnection with God.
Yes, I discovered that there are three lies that I tell myself that sabotage me every single day.
It was July 1, 2020. I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror and realized that my marriage was majorly screwed up.
I asked myself, "How did I get here?"
After 17 years of marriage and six kids, for the first time ever, I thinking about divorce.
Maybe it wouldn't be too bad compared to another 20+ years living in a mediocre marriage.
I was unhappy, and so was my wife.
This kicked off a deep dive of discovery that ultimately led me to discover the systematic sedation of men that has been occurring over the past two years.
Special thanks to Garret J White for introducing me to this frame of the systematic sedation of men.

Have you ever had a disagreement with your spouse that turned into an argument?
And then you mulled it over and over in your mind and it was hard to focus on anything else?
So the question is this ... how do you create connection in a relationship with constant collision?
In today's episode, you'll discover the framework I use to turn arguments and disagreements with my spouse into compassion and connection.
One of the greatest challenges of being a Latter-day Saint man today is dealing with the competing demands of life.
How does one balance competing priorities?
How does one have massive financial success while also having an on-fire relationship with a spouse?
How does one connect deeply with God and Jesus Christ while maintaining a powerful and connected relationship with children?
How does one get success in one area of life without burning the other areas to the ground?
In this episode, you'll discover why the concept of 'work-life balance is a myth.'
Lack of connection to God or our wife causes problems in other areas of life.
From a young age, I held tight to the checklist of commandments as taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What I lacked was a deep and present connection to God and other people.
In this episode, we discuss how to reconcile living the "checklist of commandments" while also living a life that is vibrant and fulfilling.
Lack of understanding these six human needs in yourself and your spouse will sabotage your marriage: Did you know that our emotional human needs can be boiled down to only six?
Four of these are the needs of the body, and the last two are the needs of the human spirit.
Trangressing these needs (like I have in the past) will prevent you from creating a fulfilling relationship with your spouse.
Correctly understanding and applying them is rocket fuel for a fun and fulfilling marriage.
Understanding the six human needs is a gateway to understanding how to create a passionate, loving and fulfilling relationship with your wife that empowers your success in all areas.
Applying this understanding will help you in business, career and leadership.
Do date nights end in disaster? Do vacations turn into arguments and fights?
Here's the problem with conflict in marriage: when we argue and disagree, emotions get heated, feelings get hurt, and instead of getting our way, we end up feeling alone.
This means no intimacy and it feels like the world is closing in.
This is a pattern I repeated for years.
In this episode, you'll discover how we've gotten past conflict in marriage.
Discover what it means to live the have-it-all lifestyle as a modern, married Latter-day Saint man.
