TIME MANAGEMENT: We have 168 hours/week. ~50 of those hours need to be spent sleeping. What do you do with the rest of the time?
In this episode, we talk about ways to strategically and effectively spend your time. As a working woman with a 2-month old baby, and a serial entrepreneur with 3 businesses and a puppy, we have some good insight for you! We also inspired ourselves while talking.
Manage your time well so you can live your best life. Listen to this episode as a starting point.
We love you,

We're on a roll!
This episode of 30 Minutes with T&A will break down the idea of BOUNDARIES. Did you know that boundaries are the key to happiness? We talk about why that might be. Hint: If you're able to set boundaries, you know what's important to you. If you know what's important to you, you must have self worth. If you have self worth, you're able to set boundaries...
We discuss boundaries in relationships - both current partners and exes. Physical boundaries (ehem, covid). How to know when to set boundaries, when to break boundaries, and how you feel when your own boundaries are set.
Referenced in this episode is this talk by Gabor Mate: Self Care for Caregivers
Get out there and set boundaries! Clear your path to freedom!

In today's episode we focus on the power of routine in all aspects of life; mental health, body health, creativity and work. We dive into the benefits of flexing all types of muscles using the power of routine while unpacking and identifying our own best practices. Good routines, bad routines, what does it all mean? We ask this in more:
Why do dogs and babies benefit from routine?
Can creativity thrive without discipline?
Is routine and habit the catapult for true change?
How do you upkeep the sanctity of routine when you're around others? When you travel?
The routine cycle: Cue, Routine, Reward.
Of course, we quote and use Charles Duhigg's The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life & Business
We hope you enjoy this benefit, and are as inspired as we became by the end of it!
See you in the gap,

We try a new format today, and we're calling it our new season! Because it is a new season (winter) and because we're giving this a 2nd (new) go!
Every week, we'll bring a learning, a news blip, or an exciting discovery to the table and share them with the other person for the first time live, allowing for raw reactions and open conversation between two friends in different stages of life.
On this episode, A tells T about how it feels to be turning 30, and T tells A what it feels like to have become a mother. Caspian is four-weeks old now! We hope you enjoy our banter as much as we enjoy having it. Stay tuned as we tune & develop our programming.
Happy New Year from T&A
We took a break but we've made it back on to the pod. Tierney's due date is on December 11th, this milestone of an episode was recorded on Tuesday December 8th. A asks T what it's like to live with a human the size of a watermelon inside of her body. T gives us insight on what it's like when you're a young woman about to give birth in the middle of a global pandemic.
A curiosity episode narrated by a surprisingly confident and ready mother-to-be, laced with current events & a few fun facts. It's a shared experience between two close friends in different phases in life, on opposite sides of the country.

A reads T a short personal essay she wrote about her journey with The Man Cleanse: no dating for four weeks. They discuss the piece, what she learned in the process, and the unexpected event that happened over the course of her "cleanse."
This is an episode about self-love, self-care, and what it takes to attract the right person for you.

What does it feel like to get engaged, married, pregnant, and have a child, all under the umbrella of a Global Pandemic? Our co-host Tierney has first hand experience and is here to share her story.
It all started with an engagement in March... Listen to Aleksa interview Tierney on what it's like to grow into the greatest chapters of her life while maintaining social distance, avoiding travel, and keeping hand sanitizer in her pocket.
This is a timely story about one woman's journey into partnership and motherhood during global disarray; her struggles to celebrate her milestones with the people she loves, and how she continues to find the glitter within the sand.
Hey everybody!
Our goal is to be your friends, every week, and keep you company during these uncertain times with our weekly chit chat! We won't let you down!
Hopefully, you'll learn a thing or two while listening, too.
This week we share some tech secrets, we break down what MEGA FACEBOOK is (If you don't know what it is -- you should listen to this episode), and we discuss why Crocs are selling out in 15-minutes.

Following up from our last episode, we share our fitness polls and discuss the new digital fitness tracker widespread addiction including a WHOOP vs. Apple Watch comparison.
Aleksa breaks down OnlyFans to Tierney, an app designed for sex workers that has hit the mainstream, even making its way to the wellness community.
And they share their gratitude for the NBA Finals: How the players have been living in isolation for three months in service of their fans, ultimately providing entertainment to an audience in need of a distraction.
We also reveal the secret to winning Backgammon. Easter egg alert
Thanks for listening! xo
Digital Fitness trends aren't going anywhere, and the gyms we know & love are filing for bankruptcy left & right. Tierney is a huge Peloton advocate, and she's not alone. Peloton has 3.1M subscribers and Peloton’s Q4 earnings showed a 172% jump in revenue, and it's connected subscribers were up 113%.
Aleksa signed up for Card v. Card -- a debit card that gets filled with other people's money, at an unknown time with an unknown amount. It's a game and it's a social experiment that sheds light on America's spend culture. The Internet is going through all sorts of crazy with pranks and games and it's called "Millennial Internet Culture."
RSVP to the watch party of the upcoming Netflix film Kiss the Ground, live on Tuesday September 22nd at 6:00 PM.
And we go over our LOVE polls! #lovewins
A mini-episode with A from T&A. In this episode, listen to A give a little ramble on how to show up for others, how to be selfless while holding your boundaries, and how sometimes being your best self means making space for your worst self.
It's short, it's vulnerable. It's recorded solo, from a bedroom, from the voice of a person who is in the middle of self-discovery. Oh! And update: A deleted all of her dating apps and is on something we're calling The Man Cleanse.
We hope you enjoy.
We'll see you next week.
Today Bumble announced it's going public with an estimated 6B to 8B valuation. On this episode, we discuss dating apps and how they work, which ones are better, and share some pro-tips.
In doing so, we talk to someone who has first-hand experience: Tierney asks Aleksa to describe her experiences as a single person on dating apps during a pandemic.
We also discuss platonic friendships and how they're being defined right now in quarantine. Some friendships may not survive, according to most articles on the Internet. We talk about factors that might play into it and share ideas for how to keep in touch with friends who you may not see in a person for a long, long while.
This is a conversation on faith, love and friendship in the time of quarantine.

Today we hop on to discuss Elon Musk’s Neuralink before his presentation later this afternoon. We ask the question, “would you want Elon Musk to implant a computer in your skull?”
We call in esteemed Nantechnologist and UCLA physicist (and Aleksa’s step-dad) Dr. James Gimzewski to hear from a source on how integrated brain machines work on a nano-level, his experience with them, and how they can be both useful and destructive.
*POP CULTURE*
On naming your kids and why we have empathy for Katy Perry naming her daughter with three words.
On Brad Pitt dating someone half his age.
(You asked for it!)
A post-show note from Jim:
“I forgot to say I once imagined that technology like that one day could replace drugs both leisure and Pharma. It could be the strongest high for people as well as in an alternate synthetic reality. It would also excite images in the retina, sound and touch. In fact, people could interact with the software. Like Matrix.”
See you next week!

Life throws us curveballs that we have to learn how to manage. Listen to Aleksa talk about why their second episode isn't a dialogue between two people, why she decided to record an episode anyway, and how to start that project you've always wanted to create.
In this ten-minute quick intermediary episode, Aleksa clears up some things she mentioned last week and provides a bit of insight on how we're all managing in these difficult times.
