Kev0 discusses why people do some of the stupid things they do and explains one of the main ways to tell if their actions are actually stupid or not. Cam Newton is still without a job and Kev-0 gives a glimpse into why that may be as well as his thoughts on Cam's Funky Friday episode where he talks about his release from New England with his father. Zach Wilson is struggling while Sam Darnold is flourishing, the Jets have the same issues they had when "Darnold was the problem" and Kev0 makes the issues clear!
Kev0 wants to take some time to share the development in his understanding of why September 11th was such a painful day for so many people who lost loved ones and Kev0 wants to remind everyone to be there for those who the care for. Kev0 then goes into a recap of every NFL game from opening weekend and discusses the things that stood out to him the most in each game. Kev0 then dives into the drama surrounding former Alabama QBs, Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa, as their teams are sending out messages to the football world. Kev0 then questions why there are certain types of critiques that certain QBs get when scouted that other QBs just don't tend to get!
Kev0 gets into the new rules regarding COVID protocols that the NFL has implemented and how the effects on the league go hand in hand with what is seen in every day life. Kev0 returns to recap and discuss some of the biggest stories that have caught headlines while he was away. Starting with the NBA Playoffs and a recap of the NBA Finals, Kev0 transitions to the mishap between two prominent ESPN analysts. Kev0 then jumps into what is going on with Team USA Basketball in the Tokyo Olympics before finishing off with the NFL and how COVID is STILL having an impact on the NFL before the season even starts.
Kev0 is joined by 99.9 The Fan's very own Joe Giglio where the two hit multiple different avenues. The duo start with the NHL playoffs as the local Carolina Hurricanes continue their playoff push.
Then they Kev0 and Joe transition to the NBA as they recap and discuss what is going on in this year's playoffs. The Philadelphia 76ers true playoff chances, can the Bucks beat the Nets, will the Lakers survive, and so much more.
Lastly, the guys react to the news that Mike Krzyzewski will retire after the upcoming NCAAB season as they also hit on the Roy Williams retirement and what this will mean for ACC Basketball moving forward.
Kev0 is joined again by Arthur Freeman as they walk through the recent and relevant stories at this point in the sports year. They start out with the Patriots draft class and jump to Tim Tebow returning to the NFL. Then Kev0 and Arthur go back and forth about the beef between Kwame Brown and the "All The Smoke" podcast and more in particularly Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, and Gilbert Arenas.
